If I had to take my transmission anywhere it would be to him. He is extremely knowledgeable, dedicated to what he does, and doesn t try and take advantage of your wallet or even take advantage of your ignorance to mechanics. I ve had many diagnostics from him on a couple of my vehicles besides just transmission work and he was able to either get them fixed or have me headed toward the right direction. Very satisfied with his work and will surely be back and would recommend anyone I know having engine or transmission problems to him.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

A great experience! My mechanic recommended this business for my transmission work. I am overly grateful! Daryl is very honest and the price is very reasonable. My car runs like a brand new car! He communicated very well with me while working on my car and answered all of my concerns very patiently over the phone. I have never met a more organized mechanic! When I picked my car up after business hours, he typed a detailed note telling me where to sign the papers at and where to put the papers even leaving a pen. He even labeled an envelope saying, "this goes in your glovebox." Daryl "saved" my car and he did the work correctly. Thank you for your AMAZING service!!!

Complete rip off artist. Had a transmission supposedly rebuilt, had to take it back 4 times & never shifted properly with constant check engine light on (all codes for transmission) only to find out Daryl Woolf put a low quality remanufactured unit in & charged me for a complete overhaul. Don't be fooled by the pictures he says are your job. Took it to a reputable shop & they found several issues, Daryl said he would pay for the repair & suddenly stopped answering the phone. This place takes advantage at every turn & flat out lies

Daryl Woolf was very thorough in repairing/rebuilding my Suburban's transmission. He went through every detail of his work. He keeps the pictures, list of parts, logged hours of work and any schematics he has looked up for th**i job right on his computer and also in a Printout. You get a copy of the entire list of replaced parts, their cost and his labor. If you would like to have the step by step pictures of his work, he is more than happy to share it with you as long as you bring in a flash drive for him to download a copy for you.He is very neat, organized, pays attention to details and is very knowledgeable about his work. He is proud of his shop and its cleanliness, as he should be, because he has done a great job keeping it looking and smelling like a "clean" shop without the strong odors of grease and gasoline that permeate most shops. He is very personable and easy going. He cares about your satisfaction and helps you become educated about what went wrong and how to avoid problems with your vehicle in the future. I would recommend D and S Trans7mission to anyone.

I would never take my vehicle here again. I took my daughters car up to be looked at it was having a few issues . He called said my transmission was no good needed replacement gonna cost 1500 to fix . I took the car somewhere else to get a second opinion and this place said no ur transmission is fine it's ur catalytic converter u have no power. So took it to Murphy muffler they fixed it for 53 dollars now it runs great!! Never again will I come here or tell anyone I know to come here .

Took my car here years ago to get the transmission repaired. He was suggested to me by a family member. He fixed my car for a very fair price and I was very happy with his work.

What a great gentleman who runs this business. He took my parents car, even though he has so many other cars, and said he would get it fixed by Monday. So happy there are still business owners like that in Alliance.

Wolfie to great care of me he was very intelligent of his work he did a great job I would definitely go back to him again and I recommend him to everyone he was also very cheap compared to others he took time out to talk to me plenty of pictures of his work and he worked with me on the finances again even if you don't have work that needs to be done I would suggest just to go talk to him and meet a great man
