BUYER BEWARE Don t buy from this dealership, I m not the first one to complain. You want a certain car they want a non refundable deposit. They do a dealer trade and most likely dealers aren t going to trade with them, I got Toyota Special Buyer Program which they don t honor, not big enough. The car I wanted was 4 to 6 months but was never put on the contract. Toyota got me the car to be deliver in one month. Please do yourself a favor and buy from a reputable dealership that doesn t ask for a deposit and can get you the car

Purchasing a car is a very big moment for anyone. The excitement and the anxiety of such a large decision often leaves one feeling outnumbered and outgunned.At Summit Toyota, David and Jamey of sales and finance respectively worked tirelessly to make the decision, not only manageable, but favorable. With excellent speed and choice, David selected a handful of vehicles as potential options, each within our exact specifications.With a friendly test drive of each car, and plenty of time and room for decision making, we felt that there was not the normal pressure of the car sales environment. These guys went above and beyond, time and time again.Jamey, their finance manager was not only funny and friendly, but assistant and knowledgeable. He worked to make sure that we got the right deal, and that it was secure.I ve been a Toyota guy my whole life, and Summit has helped maintain that trust and dependency.

I dreaded the thought of buying a car and put it off until i no longer had a choice. Jay Grieve made the entire process easy. He showed cars within the given budget and never pressured us to look at something above our price line. He took the time to show all the features of the car, even as the dealership was beginning to close. He made sure i was comfortable with everything before driving the car off the lot. And, the price of the car was exactly as presented. No added/hidden costs.

So far pretty good experiences. I got called from putting my old car on Kelly Blue Book online providing my information. They had exactly what I was looking for and immediately went up to test drive. I didn't actually have the car I was looking to trade, but they were still willing to start the sale, which was completed the very next day. It was a really quick easy buying process. I added window tint and rust coat proofing to my purchase and upon dropping my car off, I was provided with a very nice 2021 Tacoma as a loaner, which I almost liked better than my Camry TRD! When I picked my Camry up the next day, the window tint looked great but I didn't get a strip across the top front like I hoped. In setting up the window tint, it was just passed along from my car salesman, to maybe someone in service who then set it up with a local tint company. He just asked, what percent all the way around. I think had I went to a tint company myself, it would have been a bit more personable service and to my exact specification. I also don't know who did the tint, so hopefully if something bubbles, scratches or peels down the road, Summit will make it right. Aside the window tint, the rust coating left my car pretty messy. They didn't seem to take much care or time in a detail cleaning before giving me the keys. I had to ask someone to come take a look and then they took another 30 minutes to fix it. I appreciate them fixing, but still. I plan on taking my new car there for all services to maintain the warranty, but service didn't seem to be to helpful or personable. I ask a question and I'm told that I need to see my sales person, who has been hit or miss when I've stopped in. If I'm expected or going to be new repeat customer for retaining, I would expect them to be a little more clear and helpful in directing me to who and where I need to go for future service requests/questions. Retaining that relationship could be the difference of my next purchase down the road.

I just wanted to take a minute to rate my recent experience to purchase New TOYOTA RAV4 XLE 2023 after TOYOTA 4RUNNER TRD PRO 2022 at Summit Toyota of Akron.which is my second purchase in last year . As you can see I gave it 5 stars again . This was a very smooth process from beginning to end. More specifically I would give high praise to my sales professional, John Heslep. Not only was extremely genuine and gentleman, but also the true professional. Thanks also go out to Ms. April for her assistance.

Dave our salesman was great. He was knowledgeable and he setup insurance with my agent and the financing before I picked up the car all through calls and texts.I selected Summit Toyota because they were the only Toyota Dealer in the Akron - Canton area that wasn t up charging on the MSRP by $3000 - $5000 when I ordered the car in October.

Stopped in at Summit Toyota on a Saturday to get my car appraised. Had never been here before and didn t know what to expect. The entire staff was great, especially John, my salesman. I was in and out in 2 hours with a great car. I can t recommend this dealership enough.

Excellent car=buying experience. The Dealer, Dave, was personable and informative. I would not hesitate to return to buy another car from them, although the electric car that I purchased, I would expect to last quite a few years.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!I put a deposit at this dealership back in June to be put on a waiting list for a car (Corolla). A few months go by I still don t have a car or even an ETA, in addition to that my wife and I learned that our family is growing and that car we thought we wanted is no longer going to be practical and won t fit our family so I reached out to the dealership to cancel the deal as I can t use that car anymore. They were so quick to take my deposit but when I asked for a refund I was told that I won t be getting my money back regardless if I m not buying a car from them.

Was told "shocks and struts are fine. No wear, all seals are solid and no leaks" during a multi-point inspection for upcoming camping season for towing.It is a good thing I know vehicles and the difference between good and bad.Thank goodness it was a free service, I'd be back there requesting money back.First indications were extreme bushing wear on the front struts, add in the excessive impact for the bump stop. The rear was about the same. Excessive impact on the axle tube from the bump stop.Add in the cupped tires, any beginner can see the signs.Post install, what's with the leaky struts that never push back out?I'll never be taking my vehicle here again.Ganley Toyota is just another 10 minutes down the road for me.Edit for reply:Dear Mr toyota... While it's true that it's been 6 months since I was there. I did not post this review until a week ago. I assure you that the work I've done was shortly after your "multi-point inspection."No matter how the cookie crumbles, it still crumbled. It was your job to ensure that my vehicle was safe and comfortable for an awesome towing season.You have failed and lost my business.

I purchased a 2021 Camry from Summit Toyota a few days ago and noticed today that a tire valve cover is missing. This prompted me to check the tire pressure, and I discovered that every tire had the wrong pressure. Some were too low, one was too high, but not a singe one was correct. The tires were all new, so one of their service technicians had mounted them. After this experience, there is no way that I will take my car to them for service.

The folks at Summit Toyota were great today. Had a feeling I was going to purchase a car and found one I would have ordered from the factory. The sales team at Toyota worked with me and found a great plan for me. I highly recommend Summit Toyota of Akron The experience was so easy and simple.

The car market has drastically changed and I was in the market for a new car after an accident. Summit was very easy to work with and the salesman David Datsko kept me in the loop. It was about a month for me to get a car, so they rented me the same car I was buying until mine came in. Everyone was very friendly.

New Sienna purchase with Nevin in sales. Put down our deposit for a new Sienna and in the projected extended wait time we did get what we desired. We were patient and Nevin kept us in contact. We were even offered another Sienna earlier that did not meet our needs. Planned out as we expected if not better. Summit Toyota sold ours at MSRP and we appreciate that. We initially chose Summit Toyota because they had a rental Sienna available to test drive and they sell new Toyota units at MSRP with now silly add-ons or fees. F&I paperwork thru Ian was swift and we had our our funding arranged. Ian was not pushy on extras. Greg in service assisted us with a "we owe" task and it turn out as promised. Thanks Summit Toyota!

I had the best experience at Summit Toyota of Akron! My lease was coming to an end in September, and I did not want to go back to where I originally went to purchase my vehicle. I called Summit and made an appointment. I was unsure if I wanted to buy out my lease or turn it in. I spoke with Bob, and he was so unbelievably helpful. He was very nice, knowledgeable and so honest. He told me I should keep my vehicle due to the positive equity I had. He absolutely wanted my car as it is a nightshade edition with low miles. He said he could easily sell it but, he said I should definitely keep it knowing they would not make anything from me buying it out with them since I did not lease it through them. Ian (finance manager) provided us a great experience as well with his honesty. I did purchase an extra warranty so they could make a little bit of money for the great service they provided me! Summit Toyota will always have my business! Thanks Team!

I've been taking my car to their service department for 4 & 1/2 years since I purchased a used Toyota Highlander. There service reps have repeatedly tried to find the best price for the work they are performing which is rarely more than PM. They will return me to work so I do not have to wait for the job to be completed and pick me up after my shift to retrieve my car. I know this posting reads like something some secretary filed on Google for the dealer, but I do not like to give reviews accept when it is deserved, I feel obligated.

Everyone from the moment I walked in the dealership was very kind and helpful. Service from making an appointment to finalizing the paperwork was excellent.

This was my first time financing a vehicle and Eric did a wonderful job at helping! I was very persistent on what I could handle and knowing what my requirements would be for me to finance a vehicle and still be able to maintain everything else I have going on and Eric did everything he could to make sure that the car I was looking at met those standards while also answering any and every question I had! Highly recommend going here, they made my first time financing a vehicle way easier and manageable than I imagined it would be!

Don t put a down payment on a vehicle for them to find for you. If you want to stop the process, they will not give your money back. Once you give them the money they have 6 months, if you decide you don t want to wait that long or find a different vehicle, they keep your money. Other dealers will typically give your money back.. Don t make the same mistake I made. Ask for a shorter amount of time.Part 2- The rating I gave your dealership wasn t only because I didn t get my down payment back, it was because I didn t feel that the dealer that was working with me was always being honest. Multiple other dealerships mentioned that if no specific information is provided, like a vin number then there probably isn t a vehicle actually found for me. Once I was told that you found me a vehicle, no specific information could be provided. Feel free to give me a call if you would like to discuss the entire situation.
