Came here thinking I need my leaf springs replaced on a leaning Ford Ranger I recently purchased. Checked out the truck at no charge and made some adjustments. They said the leaf springs are fine and to give it some time. I had a shock that I needed installed and did that at a reasonable price. Good people trying to do right by their customers. I will definitely be back and let my friends and family know where to go in the future.

My SUV was towed to Stuver with 1 broken leaf spring and the other leaf spring half gone. Delivered at 10:30 am was done with 2 new leaf springs and 2 new shocks by 2pm the same day. Stuver was also $200- $400 cheaper than the other 2 places we called. They are excellent!

Took a very old and rusty Silverado here to have a leaf spring shackle replaced. The thing was basically rust welded to the frame and would not come out even under red hot heating and heavy impact drive. Stuver accepted my ordered part and got the job DONE for a very honest and good price. I was referred here by my suspension mechanics in Tallmadge, definitely would recommend!

Awesome place had to wait a few but they looked it over for about a half hour and couldn't find anything wrong and didnt charge a penny. Went to Rad Air Akron for a different issue $150.00 just to look at it. Another $1100.00 later and never fixed the issue I had taken it in for.

These guys are incredible. Did the shackles on my truck for like $100 a couple years ago. I can't remember the exact price it might have been 90 or 120 I can't remember I just know it was a hell of a deal. No appointment, I was out in like 20 mins. Absolutely incredible. I usually do all my own work on my vehicles but for that price and that service there was no way I was gonna go through that hassle. A other mechanic wanted like 600 bucks

They do the job efficiently and correctly, for a reasonable price. The main thing to be aware of is that they don't take appointments; it's first come, first serve. So if you want work done that day you need to get to their location in person by when they open at 8 and get your name on the list.

This is my go to for broken Truck Springs.. This place is great... Stuvers is a first come first serve... Get there early... Or you will be in line... This place is very known place. While you wait... Put the phone away... Try and have a conversation with the other people waiting.. You won't regret it... I haven't... Good places attract good people... This place will treat you right...

If I could rank them HIGHER I would. 5+ Stars easy. These guys know what they re doing. Basically whatever you need fixed (truck and trailer related) is going to be done fast and right at a price that can t be beat. Every one of them is there to do the best job they can. I am so incredibly appreciative of Stuver s for getting me out of a bind in a timely manner. We have to drive back across country for another 10+ hours and I m confident in their work to get us there safely. Thanks again

Although it's been nearly 4 years since I last dealt with Stuver Spring, I felt that I should review the experience I had.I purchased a 1995 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L 5 speed manual in late 2011. It had the typical weak rear lead springs that would sag with even the slightest amount of weight in the trunk. I grew tired of the rubbing noises I would hear when I would drive over rough expressway bridge expansion strips, so I decided to look into getting my rear suspension fixed.I actually work as a service technician at a luxury car dealership in Akron and always work on my own cars/trucks. I priced out new and used leaf springs as well as all the bolts and hardware that would likely break from the typical Ohio rust. From what I remember, it was expensive..$400 for parts only.I remembered a guy I worked with had mentioned that Stuver Spring might be a good alternative to fixing it myself. I gave them a call and was quoted over the phone a very, very cheap price. I decided to take my Jeep in and have them do the work. They installed new bolts added a leaf and re-arched the springs and I paid the same price as they quoted me. It was over $300 cheaper than doing it myself. What a perfect experience.I vow to never mess with a leaf spring/shackle ever again. This shows that even 4 years later, a good experience with a business is not easily forgotten. Thank you so much.

You will not find better quality service for suspensions and u-bolts ANYWHERE. The guys in the shop are polite, friendly and extremely informative! The guys in the office are just grumpy and old. But don't let them get to you, lol. They make u-bolts custom to any size and length on the spot. Saving you a lot of money. I first found out about them when I came to Akron for college, and have been going ever since for my u bolt and leaf springs purchases. Great place, with old time values and service.Update 9-12-14: I no longer live in Ohio but I remember this place dearly. Miss this place so much. I build a lot of off-road 4x4 toys and have needed them so many times since the move. You will never find another spring shop that can do work so quickly, efficiently and for an unbelievable price.

This place was amazing. The rear leafspring in my Ranger snapped. I got a reccomendation from my father to visit them. I called them and got the info that they were first come first serve, so I headed up the next morning. After being greeted by the very polite staff, I dropped off my truck, and got a phone call about 2 hours later. There were three cars ahead of me as well. They worked quickly and efficiently. The leaf spring was repaired, and the bill was extremely cheap. I would reccomend this place to anyone with any spring or shock issues.

I was told this company has been around since horse and carriages. That may be a stretch, but I fealt they did a good job and fixed my truck the right way with reasonable prices. I will be going back to this shop for repairs in the future. Thanks to Paul and his son for the quick and efficient work.
