I have purchased many vehicles over the years. Emily S. has been the finest person I have ever dealt with in all my vehicle purchases. She is professional, extremely knowledgeable and has a personality that will melt your heart. Emily went beyond what she had to and I am so grateful. The dealership took care of me and I also need to thank Mike D. for making the financing smooth. Rates are high right now but I hope to be able to re-finance when rates get better. Amazing team of people, beautiful dealership, and very well ran operation. Kempthorn Motors is fortunate to have a such a great team.My initial contact was with Julia new to Land Rover but, is very customer service orientated, very motivated & even reached out to me on her day off to inform me on new incentives on the Defender 130. I was then contact by Emily explaining to me the incentives that were just released & this was just after business hours.Next morning I made the 2 hour drive ( passing up other Rover Dealerships) where I met with Mike in finance. Mike was absolutely fantastic to work with & made the process streamlined , efficient, and very knowledgeable with the Land Rover Brand Mike is just a great ambassador for Land Rover & Kempthorn Motors.I was then presented to their Incontrol App/Tech specialist Alexa. I never had this experience when I purchase my Pervious Defender at my home town dealership. Alexa was showing me how the app works as well as all the button & menus in the defender. That was so well done!Some many nice touches with some unexpected gifts I found when I returned home 1st class experience.. A+++++

Land Rover Akron is amazing! Very responsive to all my questions prior to coming in for a test drive. Justin made the whole sales process effortless and the finance manager, Mike got everything processed very timely. I could not be happier with my new Range Rover!!!

I felt welcomed immediately upon entering the front door. I was deciding between a Land, Rover and Mercedes. I felt no pressure, but only a volume of information from the sales people. You're going to pay more going here, but you should have known what you signed up for getting a Land Rover (or Jag).Brad at the service center is the kindest soul - my poor RR got mishandled by its previous owner, and I brought it here to get it looked at. Brad gently told me what was wrong and explained it to me so I could understand. He also got me an apt next week to get the (days worth of) work done, and has me set up for a loaner so my schedule isn't disrupted.So far, no complaints. Thanks JLR Akron and Brad!

I had an incredible experience with this dealership from the moment I reached out to them! JR Rollins was my sales representative and he was incredible! He was kind, professional and I could tell he cares about making his clients happy! He made sure I got into the car I wanted! Inventory is low and the cars are moving as fast as they come in. He kept in touch with me every step of the way! Ira the sales manager was a great guy! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and down to earth! Emily, the inventory manager also helped a ton! She picked me up to bring me in to the dealership and took great care of me when facilitating my transaction. Every person I encountered was wonderful and my sales experience was white glove! I can t say enough great things! I highly recommend using Jaguar Land Rover of Akron for your next auto purchase!

I had the best car buying experience of my life at Land Rover Akron! I cannot speak highly enough about the dealership and customer service (especially in the times of supply chain/transportation issues, chip shortages, etc.). My husband and I actually came to this dealership after an extremely unpleasant experience at our local Land Rover and could not be happier that we did. We were looking to place an order for a 2023 Discovery Sport, and we were helped without question no scarcity fee, no telling us that Land Rover isn t accepting custom orders right now , or any of the other comments we had previously heard at the other dealership to try to force us into a purchase. It speaks to the true nature of the honest family owned dealership, an experience you will not find anywhere else. I would also like to take a moment to speak specifically about the employees, JR in particular. He was not the typical pushy car salesman he was patient, attentive, and answered my dozens of questions. He kept in contact with us for the entire lead time of the vehicle, which miraculously arrived as scheduled. He also made the ordering/purchasing process so simple, which was sincerely appreciated given the fact that we live 50 minutes away, letting us do the entire process virtually right up to the point of picking up the car and signing the papers. JR and Mike (the finance representative) were unbelievably efficient all of the paperwork was ready for us upon arrival and Mike did everything he could to get us the best financing rate given the crazy times we are in right now. We were in and out of the dealership in under an hour with a large chunk of that time just getting acquainted with the car; completely unheard of! Again, I cannot stress enough that if you are even looking at this dealership for your next car, don t debate head in there today to see JR and the team. They will not only take care of you, they will set the bar high for every future car purchase you make. After life long BMW owners, we could not be happier with our first Land Rover purchase and Land Rover Akron in particular.

Great service. Had my 2008 Jaguar xj inspected after recent private purchase. Very comprehensive inspection at what I thought was a reasonable price. Got great informative detail for what was needed immediately as well as future required maintenance. Amanda was great helping me and explaining all procedures.

After a not great experience at a different dealership, we set up an appointment online. From initial reach out this dealership felt different.Our plan was to test drive and order a car. Emily helped us consider all options. It made the most sense for us to buy the car we came to test drive.I still can t believe how seamless the entire transaction was. Everyone was kind! Predatory acts is where I would like to start. One of my independent stores dropped a Land Rover off with a no start. Our techs confirmed that wiring was cut under the dash. Our techs confirmed the ignition was pulled out of the dash. Upon dropping this specific vehicle off we where informed by them that it would need a new gauge cluster due to no power. We were informed that this would solve the starting issue. We proceeded. However after paying $1700 for the gauge cluster and installation they proceeded to tell us that the tech noticed wires cut under the dash and would need more diag. Will someone please tell me why this state of the art facility would want to rip off a independent store? Why they would recommend replacing the gauge cluster then proceed to tell me it will need more diag because of there over sight on 1. Not listening to our initial conversation about what our techs seen. 2. Recommend more diag into it before throwing parts into it. I own 4 independents. I will be contacting all the brands under your rooftop to report this. I will be contacting the attorney general. This disgusting how humans can treat one another.

Have you ever had a car curated just for you? That was my experience at Jaguar Land Rover of Akron. Emily was my sales person and she saw to everything from the selection of the vehicle to the combination of the interior and the features and then the stunning exterior of the car of my dreams. I can t say enough about her professionalism and how she has changed my perception of what a car purchasing experience should be like. She even delivered the car to my house and patiently explained the all the eccentricities of the media center and driver interface. There is literally no comparison to the last vehicle I purchased where the sales person had me schlep the floor mats from the parts department myself and he watched while installed them in the parking lot.

The Service here is terrible, since I had my car not even 2 years, now I ve had the displeasure of having to take my car to their dealership. First setup appointment with customer service, who never answers the phone. I have 8 am appointment setup for oil change, I go back to the dealership around 3pm since I haven t heard anything from anyone and know one is answering the phone. When I get there hours later my car is still in the same spot as it was when I left it! I was angry, least they could have called me, said something! They had my car all day ! Now I need to go back to replace a bulb same side that just was replaced a couple months ago! O if you call SALES THEY ANSWER EVER TIME!!! Wow

I recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Jaguar of Akron and was extremely pleased! Because I was purchasing this vehicle from out of state, two things were vital to me for the deal... trust and transparency. I worked primarily with J.R who made me feel confident with the purchase as he answered each question I had and resolved any ssues with the vehicle ensuring me that all items would be taken care of for the deal. From my first inquring phone call to driving off the lot communication and customer service were incredible. The day I traveled out to close the deal JR. picked me up at the airport and when I arrived at the dealership the car was completly ready with requested service done (new tires/brake pads/fully detailed & even a full tank of gas). Mike the fimance manager had all the paperwork ready (which was slightly more complex from out of state). Mike also worked closely with my insurance agent to ensure all the paperwork was in-line for the state of MA requirements before I drove the car home. These guys went above and beyond making the entire experience feel seamless. I would absolutely work with them again.

Had a car accident Monday and needed a replacement ASAP. Called JR said the FPace was in stock and available. Placed a phone deposit. Went to pick it up in the afternoon. The car was ready with a temp plate. The paperwork was complete. The car was delivered and explained to my wife by a young man from the dealership. JR even offered assistance on a car warranty issue NOT from their dealer. I am not sure what they could have done to make the experience better. Great job to JR and team. Highly recommended.

This location is easily accessible and clean as a whistle! Recently had a wheel alignment done and waited in the waiting area. Lots of complimentary drinks & snacks available in this comfortable & quiet environment.Tyler, Service Mgr., was friendly and helpful. I had a question about the park assist feature and he lined up Emily to fill me in. She couldn't have been more willing to "assist".This place has certainly continued the excellent service and attention I came to enjoy years ago at Kempthorn in Canton.

I walked in without an appointment and asked to test drive an Approved Discovery. No questions asked they gave me the keys and sent me off by myself to test drive the car. When I came back a half hour later they suggested I drive across town to take the car and show my wife.It was awesome test driving it at my own convenience by myself without having a sales person distracting. The sales person (JR Rollins) let the car sell itself without the usual cringey used car chatter.

Curiously inept dealership. I think it is general knowledge that when you sell a car to a dealership for cash/payoff, you do not get paid until dealer receives title. But this dealership, via Emily Schneider, promised/assured the opposite. From "we will give you a check the same day" when we initially discussed the buy, to "today's Saturday but we can wire on Monday" to "we can probably wire when we get an electronic title" (what??) to....crickets and general silence in response to follow-up emails. Even the bill of sale provided for the entire purchase price to be paid as a down payment rather than upon receipt of title.Car was listed in their website a few days after the buy before the finance guy eventually told me the accepted reality of no money until title. Fine. But when my friend tried to buy the car the day it appeared on the website, the sales guy 'JR' said they had the title and even drew up a purchase agreement when clearly they didn't have title (CNC Motors anyone?). Confronted with this, the finance guy Tim Smith unashamedly trashed his co-workers. On JR, "he is 70 years old, what do you expect?" and on Emily Schneider "She's just started and doesn't know what she is doing." It is poor form for them to characterize incompetence/fraud/misrepresentation as "miscommunication." Even poorer form for management to diss their staff so publicly.Akron Land Rover is a new dealership, so there are clearly growing pains and problems as they get themselves going. They are owned by Kempthorn, and while those guys have been around for ages (and they eventually handled my payout), the new folks at Land Rover Akron need some time to develop competence.What is odd however, is that we sold them a relatively decent car and ordered a new, just as decent car and they treated us like trash. As if I was an idiot who didn't know what I was doing. Yet I am probably the type and profile of customer that they would want to propagate. When it became clear that Emily was caught in her lie, she cancelled our order as soon as she could.So, word to the wise, be careful with these guys. Check out other Rover dealers before you commit to this one, no matter how convenient it might be to come here. And if you do come here for business, question and document everything.One last thing: If you order a new Rover from them, my strong advice is to enter a purchase agreement as soon as you can which fixes the price. Emily verbally assured us they would never sell over MSRP. However, Tim Smith the finance guy made pretty clear that MSRP mark-ups on the Rover were on the table. I just don't trust that guy (but then again, who does trust a car dealer finance guy.....)

I was shopping for a car for my 18yr old daughter. Saw a used Ford online (at this Jaguar dealership) and called. Spoke to JR, who was very pleasant and knowledgeable, answered all questions, and was not pushy at all. I put a down payment on it and went to see it in person. The whole dealership staff was very friendly and nice, and after a test drive, I purchased the car. My Daughter is thrilled, and I want to thank Jaguar Land Rover Akron for making the entire process easy and painless. Thank You!

The rating would be three stars if the management of the service department was not so poor. Tyler Gilles is a stand up person extremely pleasant and easy to talk to and I felt comfortable discussing any type of repairs and issues and understand how and why the repairs were necessary or not. I cannot say the same for anyone else.I have had three different repairs the first two (Coolant hose repairs & Gear Box Rebuild) lasting between roughly 7-10 days. The accommodation of a loaner vehicle is non existent. Over both periods I contacted them on a daily basis about a loaner and was told over and over "we will add you to the waiting list," which never came to fruition. Seems pretty absurd for a dealership to not be able to accommodate a customer who they are certain they will have their vehicle for an extended period on numerous occasions.On the last occasion (Brakes & TPMS), I requested a service to be completed for a brake job at roughly 8am. Moments (10 minutes) after agreeing to the brake job, I called and said I would like the TPMS sensor changed as well on my rear tire. That evening at about 4 o'clock I called to ask when vehicle would be done, and they stated not until tomorrow morning. I beg and plead about a loaner vehicle because I have an imperative meeting at 7:30am for work the following day and they do practically nothing other than say we'll complete it tomorrow. The task they stated they need to complete is a TPMS sensor install into a tire which would take an hour tops. But, since I called after the tech had already finished the brake job (a brake job does not take 10 minutes) he had moved on to a different task and would circle back to mine first thing in the morning. So they hold my vehicle over the evening and call me at 10am the following day to say my car is done. Upon my arrival, YOU GUESSED IT, "somehow there was a communication error and the TPMS sensor never was installed." I coughed up XXX dollars for a rental car because they held my vehicle for a repair, WHICH THEY DIDN'T DO.So either 1) they are not honoring appointment commitments and overbooking or 2) their service techs cannot complete a break job in 7 hours and somehow had a singular task of installing a tpms sensor and once they completed the task of not installing the tpms sensor called up to the front office and stated "I completed the TPMS sensor install" with the replacement sensor still wrapped in brand new packaging in hand, which would border incompetence and cannot possibly be true because they train them in a specific off site Land Rover school.Therefore, it is mismanagement or poor communication within the external departments, IE section 1 above, and re referenced to the lack of loaner vehicles, its indicative of poor customer service.Up to this date, I have driven my vehicle roughly 2000 miles and my brake light is back on already saying my brand new installed brake pads are worn within 2000 miles. I have reached out to them regarding the issue and they have failed to contact me back.Again, if you are catching the theme here, poor customer service, poor follow up, poor communication internal and external.

My wife and I were looking for a Jaguar. In the Market today inventory is space. Emily Schneider, the sales woman at Jaguar of Akron had emailed me because of a car I had inquired about. After finding out I could not buy from out of state markets, ( Jaguar rules, due to low inventory cause by covid and chip shortages). After conversing with Emily we discussed a vehicle she had in stocks. Emily invited to bring my wife in to test drive a new F Pace. The drive was awesome, my wife absolutely loved it. After returning from our test drive we discussed the possibility of purchasing the vehicle. Emily was very helpful, extremely courteous. She knew her stuff about that Jag! If ever your in the market for a Jaguar or Land Rover I highly recommend Jaguar of Akron located in Green, Ohio! Ask for Emily Schneider! You won't regret it!!!!

Due to inventory shortages, I was shopping online for a new Range Rover. There happened to be one that interested me at my local JLR dealer (JLR of Akron/Green). I reached out via email and Emily Schneider responded almost immediately. Emily was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire purchasing process. She absolutely provides the high end experience that you expect when purchasing this type of a vehicle. Donnie provided an excellent training and delivery experience! Tim was also a pleasure to work with. I will definitely be recommending Emily and the JLR of Akron team to my colleagues, friends and family.

I just purchased a new car at Kempthorn Jaguar Land Rover Akron Dealership, and the customer service there was the best I ve ever had buying a car!! I had actually been holding off purchasing a car because I hate the process, but if I would have known how wonderful The Kempthorn Family of Dealerships was I wouldn t have waited so long. My salesperson Jim Marks was very helpful, and not pushy, he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle! The manager and the finance person both were easy to deal with, not pushy, and made the experience of buying a new car wonderful. Then before I took my car home, they walked me through how to use all the extras on the vehicle, I ve never had a dealership do that!! I cannot say enough good things about my experience - and if you need a new car and want to have a great experience like I did call Jim Marks at Kempthorn Jaguar Land Rover Akron!!
