We bought our Countryman from Jon and Jen almost 3 years ago. We live in Columbus, but almost never hesitate to drive the 2 hours to have our car repaired/serviced. They are friendly and fair. Also, listen to Jon and don't have your oil changed at one of the quick change places.

This place has an almost cult following in a Mini group of over 1.3k people (plus an additional couple thousand customers from many states) and it couldn't be more deserved. They are the best at what they do, and it's worth driving hours for them to be the ones taking care of your Mini (old or new). Waiting at the shop feels more like hanging out at a friends house than I knew was possible at a mechanic's garage. They'll give you fair prices on work/stuff, chat about how awesome Minis are, plus give free advice along the way. I literally cannot over-exaggerate how awesome this place is!

Loved Crooked River Garage. Found them via a referral from another Mini owner. Really liked the vibe of their website so I reached out about Minis they had in inventory. JT was super responsive. We drove the two hours from Columbus and purchased my Mini. I have since had some maintenance done and new wheels and tires added by them. Every interaction has been excellent. Would highly recommend if you are in the market for a Mini or need work done.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I feel like we found an absolute gem of a business. John and Jen are amazing people who have such a passion for Minis; they know these cars inside and out. They sold my sister an '05 Cooper S. While it may not be in perfect condition, as it's a 15 year old car, I feel absolutely confident in her purchase. I feel we she got a great deal on the car for the price she paid. The car drove beautifully and was in great condition from what we can tell so far.John is extremely knowledgeable about Minis, and you can tell he puts in good and honest work. This will be the only place I feel comfortable with recommending my sister come to for service on her Mini.There's not enough nice things I can say about my experience here and I look forward to potentially buying a Mini for myself here in the future!

No matter if it has been a Mini upgrade, a new old Mini, or sometimes just free advice it has always been first class.Additionally, the customer service of Jon, Jen, and JT is so great that you can t help but want to continue doing business with them. Just bought a Mini from Crooked River. JT took time on his Saturday to meet me to view and test drive the inventory and then delivered the car (to Pittsburgh) a few days later. Both JT and Jon have been excellent communicators when I had questions after the sale. You can tell they prioritize the customer experience with excellent follow up and communication. I will be taking my "new to me" Mini to them shortly for some go fast bits. Thanks again

Purchased an R52 in April of 2022 from Crooked River. Lesson one, I did not make the trip to their shop from upstate New York to see it in person before I made the purchase to VERIFY what they represented was true. Lesson two I TRUSTED in their reputation and that their answers to my questions about the car were HONEST and TRUTHFUL. The car was represented by JT as being in "Premium" condition and he even went so far as to draft an email to our insurance agent certifying and justifying the premium price we paid. When we took delivery of the car we found: ripped cv axle boot, active oil leaks after we were told it had none ( and yes, we were well aware of MINIs leaking oil but the leaks were confirmed as needing immediate repair by an authorized local MINI dealer and far more significant than what we had seen on other cars we looked at), no cruise control when we were told it had it (steering wheel was replaced with one from a car that had cruise), weak battery requiring replacement, door locks not functioning, radio not working, key fob held together with tape, spray paint used to cover up ware on the interior trim, broken windshield washer jets and infact a very poor attempt at a reconditioning paint job. We did make repairs to the car and recently sold it as it was not of the condition and quality represented. To put a positive twist on the situation, I can thank Crooked River for the lesson in not believing or trusting what you read or are told and check it out for yourself. Second, thanks for the project and experience of working on a MINI as I could not have resold it with out making repairs to it in good faith. My advice is to BEWARE, QUESTION and VERIFY when dealing with them.

I am SO GLAD I found Crooked River!!They are helpful, kind, down to earth, and generally all around Good People. To know that I have someone knowledgeable about all the particulars of my Mini is invaluable. As soon as I got mine I took it in to checked over and oil changed. They showed me and explained the importance of an actual Mini oil filter, for example, which is clear once you see it!I had a light come on unexpectedly and dropped in and luckily it was just an old belt but instead of trying to convince me it was something much more expensive, he managed to get the car in later that day and got all the pieces out and checked that everything was still in working order and sent me on my way!Part of me hates to tell anyone about how awesome they are since it might be harder to get in, but I can t stop raving about them! So happy to see this garage opened and ready to service MINI Coopers. I encourage all MINI owners to get their repairs done here. The owner/mechanic is friendly and knowledgeable and really knows his MINIs!I have since been back a few times (fortunately my 2006 MINI has been fairly sturdy). The owner diagnoses problems quickly and has saved me from getting stranded on the road with a blown clutch. He also is good about telling you when not to worry.Services: Transmission, Brakes, Oil change

The folks here offer great work at a fair price and they are honest about what needs done. They know the idiosyncracies of MINI and avoid off brand parts. Don't expect to ever take our Mini anywhere else so long as their doors are open.Services: Brakes, Oil changeServices: Brakes, Oil change

I loved and purchased a wonderful 06 in black and my whole family enjoyed enjoyed it. Unfortunately when I went in to get a 'service engine ' diagnosed I saw a fabulous RED S, and it was lust at 1st sight. JT made it all too easy. It's mine. Best service for a Mini Cooper you can get. Period.I took my car in for tires and he got me set up with a last minute appointment. Got my tires for a much better price than anyone else. Was talking with them about a car i saw. They made it sound like they would help out review the car. Wasn't very helpful to be honest. Just offered to review an out of state car if i brought car to their tech. If i had access to the car i could take the car to tech but was seeking their help since i wasn't in the city. Unfortunately i didn't purchase the car because it may have had rust. One week later i followed up with Crooked River Garage to see if anything else is available. The sales rep has the audacity to send over the same car i sent while upcharging me 5k. Garage name tells truth about this place

Absolutely the best place in the area to take your Mini for repairs or to buy a great clean used Mini. They take great care of your car and the rates are very reasonable. If you're looking to buy a used Mini, they're the best place to go to get a great price on a quality car. If you need repairs, they will take care of your car like it's their own car.

Dropped car off went and stopped by after he had already charged us 3 hours labor car wasn't even moved! Don't take your car here. Sure is crooked lol

Jonathan (the owner) is a mini cooper guru. He was very friendly and honest. He didn't charge me to read the check engine light! I felt really comfortable dealing with him and his staff and I will be returning.

Came to the rescue after a breakdown. Rapid diagnosis and replaced the offending part. Service second to none as always. They love their work and it shows on every level. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
