This Conrad s location is one of the best shops I ve been to in years! The staff is always excellent. Bob always takes the time to help figure out the vehicle issues, & they get the job done every single time. Would recommend them 10/10 times

One of the best Car maintenance shops in the Akron Area. Their prices are very reasonable, their staff is true and honest. They never upsell or worry you into doing a maintenance / job. I ve never had any problems here. I go for oil change / tire rotation and they are always great. 30 minutes - 1 hour in & out every time

Went to get our son's car repaired. Changed cracked oil pan in 2 days. Reasonable price. We have taken all our cars (4) to Conrad's Mentor since 2015

Great price and service, completed sooner than promised. And the only non RV place that would change the tires on our camper. (RV shops are currently 2-3 months out on service appointments and couldn't wait that long)

These guys went above and beyond to help me out of a tight spot. Was taking my wife to have some medical tests done. When I got out of my truck, noticed my left rear tire was very low. So I left my wife at the medical center and sought out a tire shop. Luckily I found a Conrad's one exit away. I explained to the gentleman behind the counter that I had a tire going flat but did not have an appointment. They said they should be able to squeeze me in at some point throughout the day. Then I explained that my wife would be waiting for me within a couple hours. They got my truck in and tire plugged within 90 minutes, maybe even quicker. Hats off to the staff! In today's day and age, customer service like that is all too rare. Thank you!!

Had to take our car to them when a check engine light was pointing to a big job that was more than I was willing to undertake myself. While they were in there they found another significant issue, but they were able to fix both problems quickly, and the car is running normally again. I usually go to Conrad's for tires and alignments, but this was the first time going to them for an engine problem that I couldn't fix myself, and they got it fixed with no hassle. Highly recommend!

My experience was mixed. The staff was friendly, helpful, and the unannounced critical service (engine bleeding oil) was performed same day. And when I articulated my misgivings (detailed below) the manager immediately offered to make it right which I appreciated.If Conrad's could fix these 2 issues, I'd become a regular customer.1) Diagnostic Charge: If your engine is kicking out a code and they need to plug in their computers to read the code and trace the issue, then absolutely they should charge a diagnostic fee. Maybe not the $100+ they charge, but sure... I should pay for that.If the engine is clearly leaking oil from a blown line, there's no code, and the customer comes in and says, "Hey, this is the likely problem, here's the location, here's the evidence," then, in good faith, the diagnostic fee should not be automatically included.2) Parts Markup: Mechanics markup parts. I have no problem with that. Industry standard is 25% to maybe 50%.100% markup? That's disappointing. That's another poor-faith effort on Conrad's part.So, 5 stars for the staff, the service, the location. And although they DO deserve to charge a premium, when a $300-$350 job gets billed at $575, I feel a bit ripped off.

I set up an online appointment for 12 o clock noon. I got there about 11:52 went to sign in the lady told me it would be a minimum of 1 to 1 1/2 hour wait. I just set up the appointment about a hour before that don t tell me you just fell behind. I will never come back to this place I wasted a hour of my time and gas so that they can fill up their waiting room with people. The lady politely told me that I can reschedule, but next time to call first to make sure that they re on time. Really

The staff is great and will tell and show you issues before doing any extra work. Highly recommended. You get what you pay for. Worth every penny!Appointments prevent you from waiting long. My husband and I were impressed with the professionalism of every employee we came in contact with. The video of issues other than the reason we came on for was really appreciated. The prices are reasonable, the facility is clean and they appear to appreciate your business. They also provide a coupon code for a free car wash which was unexpected but greatly appreciated!

I went here for a simple oil change (which has customarily been less than $30) and asked for basic/cheap one with a synthetic blend. I ve gotten all my oil changes here so they have my car s history. They did not provide an estimate for my initials, which I should ve caught. The car was not ready when I came to pick up, so I had to wait for 1.5 hours there. Then, I was charged double while they claimed I had asked for full synthetic and that all cars require full synthetic now. False on both accounts. Now I m looking for a new store.

Had a temp plug out in my tire , wanted a permanent patch done , tire is 3 months old , told me it would pull the cords out if they removed it ( take in mind they never even went to look @ tire ) love being sold something they don t even know I need .

I like coming here because it's very close to home, and they do everything, from oil changes to tires and everything in between. I always receive the best service at this location. The gentleman manning the front desk is incredibly friendly and efficient, and goes over the work and prices before we continue. I also enjoy being able to schedule appointments online, and it's really easy to do.

I had a tire go flat last week and had to have it towed to the closest tire place to get fixed. Then later, I decided to just go ahead and have the other tire in the pair replaced, but this time I brought it to Conrad's, which is significantly further away from me, because I didn't have to worry about the towing fee. They only charged about *half* what the other place did. Needless to say, I was thrilled, and the service was friendly and fast. Highly recommended.

I came in yesterday to get oil change and things didn t very smooth! However when I returned the next day for my alignment they fixed the previous days issues and gave me a discount! Now that what I call customer service! You see problem you acknowledge it ,you fix it and you make a friend! Thanks fellas awesome jobI had to come back today to have my alignment looked at again! They got me in quickly fixed the issue and took care of another issue without me even asking! So often good service goes unrecognized and usually when it is the credit is given the wrong people! I hope your DM reads this and does something nice for the team! Because you all deserve it and I ll be asking when come back if he/she did something for you! Believe me I won t forget either! Thank you for being great!

I ve been to this Conrad s a lot the past 2 years for a myriad of reasons on my older car (tires mostly) and they ve done a great job. On two occasions, I wasn t charged for minor repairs, which was a godsend. I appreciate the videos of your car they send when there are issues, and they have a good turnaround time for their services. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for car services!

10/10 service! Had an unexpected car problem right before the holidays, took it to Conrads and despite being incredibly busy they fit me in and fixed my problem within an hour. They have always taken the time to explain whatever they find and provide me with options for how the repairs go. Quality service at a solid price. Will definitely continue to be a regular!

The new video inspection is a very impactful tool that aids the car owner in making sound and timely repair decisions. Although I waited nearly 9 hours for the full repair, I'm confident that the repairs were needed and were done with our safety in mind. I was given a free car wash for my trouble, but would have preferred a deaper discount on the total bill. Car had 94,000 miles, and needed new brakes/rotors, and two replacement tires using our tire warranty. I arrived for my 9:00 appointment early, and I watched the car pull into the bay at 8:57. Shortly after that, I received a link to the video showing the inspection. Maybe you could improve updates via text on an hourly basis.

A full parking lot is a sure sign of a trustworthy company, so I don't mind that I have to drive around looking for a spot when I go. Conrad's workers will often go overtime and consult with you thoroughly and do whatever else it takes to make sure you're satisfied with the repair on your car. The fellow I worked with went above and beyond to get my tires as soon as possible, and get them on my car by the end of the day. They do thorough work, they don't charge you for things you don't need or for their own mistakes, and I love the car wash that I get with every purchase. In my experience some of the workers have been a bit gruff, but they do their job well and I can understand all the demands they must have on them. aAn beyond the individual employees, the policies and expectations of Conrad's as a chain are top notch, in my experience. I'm a loyal Conrad's customer, which isn't difficult for all the locations they have. They've never failed me yet, and it feels like every time I walk out their door I'm amazed at getting such good service, often at excellent prices.

My oil change light came on this past weekend, way before it was due to come on. The staff at Conrad s got me in quickly the next Monday, changed my oil (free of charge, which was the best part of my Monday, besides not needing to have an expensive repair - THANK YOU!!) and explained two different situations that could have caused the light to go on. they are always professional, and that s why I will keep going back!

Excellent service and great price. Got both cars ready for winter. Took my granddaughter's car in last week. I love how they sent me a video walk around if the car and the issues they found. Got the work done and now she says her car feels like it's a new car.

I'd avoid having a vehicle serviced at Conrad's. I brought my car in to have the oxygen sensor replaced and called a day ahead and received a quote of $150 to have the sensor replaced. I had already performed a diagnosis of the issue and just wanted the part exchanged since I do not have access to a lift. I dropped the car off and received a call from Bill in the morning and he told me they don't just change parts and need to do a diagnostic for $114 and then proceeded to tell me the story of a complicated issue another person had which had nothing to do with my simple bad oxygen sensor. It was then explained to me that the cost was in addition to the cost of the repair.It seems very shady to me that they were going to charge me an additional $114 to plug in a scanner to my car when I had already agreed to have the repair done. My past experiences are that diagnostics get baked into the cost of repair. I declined the diagnostic since I knew it was the issue to which Bill informed me would void any warranty he could offer on the part?I was then given an estimate of $173 to replace the sensor which was $23 more than the estimate I was given the day before.Thankfully the work seemed to be done sufficiently and my issue solved so I have no issue with the technicians.I will not be returning and am going to have to find a more honest shop. One that provides a guarantee on the work done without trying to upsell you.

Arrived at 7:57am for an 8 am appt. The gentleman asked when I needed the car back. I said I was going out to run an errand and would come back and wait. I told him I needed it back by 11 or 12 but I hoped much sooner since I would be waiting. It was finally finished at 12:40pm.We received a call the next day and apology from the manager. We have normally received very good service and honest dealings with Conrad's. Thanks for the call! We'll try again!

They always do excellent work on my car. Nothings cheap...its quality of work u should be concerned about when doing big car repairs. Just dropped a good amt of money there last week. But my car is 100% better and I feel safe! Ty
