Called and they got my car in within 30 mins,repaired immediately. Very reasonable price and didn't give me the run around.Told me exactly what was going on with my car. Amber was very helpful because I was requesting all type of things/work. Tony(the mechanic) was awesome he knew exactly what I needed. Once again Amber was quick and efficient with pricing and just all around very helpful, respectful and responsive. Definitely found a new repair shop. Gained a loyal customer. Tune up,oil change,window regulator and some other thing I can't remember

Went there to get the headlight bulbs changed on my Civic '08. They got the job done but in the process they broke my bumper clips and my bumper is not flush to the body anymore. When I noticed it the next day, they refused that it was their doing. My car was fine before that. But it's just my word against the mechanics.They did not give me a receipt for the work either, and when I wanted to pay with card they were asking for "cash". I would have some course of action if I had a receipt or paid via card. Now I have to get my bumper repaired possibly hundreds of dollars out.No matter how small the repair is please don't go to this place. I can bet they'll make it worse.

Very very competitive pricing on all mechanical needs. The turnaround time is unmatched. I have taken my car and my wife s car to Brown Street auto on more than four occasions and will continue to return to this autoshop.

Ive been living in Akron for the past few months now and just came up on this shop. Will most Definitely be coming back. Service was exceptional. Quick fix in under 3.5 hours and adjusted my brakes and repacked my wheel bearings...I love how I can bring my own parts in to have them put on. And it's in walking distance from my house...my truck stops like a dream floating in the clouds now

I was going out of town and decided to get a tune-ups to assure my car was prepped for the long drive. I paid $150 or so for just my sparkplugs to be changed. My service here has always been great but now I wonder...After being dissatisfied I was asked by the very nice man "What did you think a tune-ups was?" Not this.Isn't this a tune-up? A car tune-up is�typically a suite of preventive maintenance services performed on a vehicle to ensure it continues to perform well.A tune-up normally includes replacing several important wear-and-tear parts, like the air filter, fuel filter, oxygen sensor, positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve, and spark plug wires.What do you get with your tune-up and where?Well I only got the sparkplugs.

I ve taken multiple cars (Honda, Nissan) to Mike for a few years now. He may not be the cheapest but he s far from the most expensive. Take it to Mike and he ll get it right the first time not the 5th time, rather than the dealer fixing incorrect things and overcharging. He s done my front and rear struts, ac compressor, serpentine belt, front and rear wheel bearings and brakes, all fixed the first time and done correctly!Services: Auto battery replacement, Steering & suspension repair, Steering & suspension replacement, A/C installation & repair, Brake service & repair, Battery

I hear it's a great place, but I think they are a little to pricey. I needed a water pump, plugs and wires put on my van, I had the parts myself. The wanted to charge me $1100 to put it on. I only ended up paying $375 at another shop.

Took some time to finally get my car in after dropping it off to them on Tuesday. Noticed today after I got home that out of the bushings I had them install they never installed the main one I wanted put in which was the whole reason of going to them in the first place with everything else being secondary.Gotta go back on Monday to see about getting that taken care of because I can't miss another day if work over the repairs I'm in need of.

My son and I met with Terrell to buy a car. He was extremely honest about the car and answered questions we planned to ask, before we could even ask him!! Unfortunately, we missed the opportunity to buy from him, but I would absolutely recommend going there if he has any cars in the future!! He mentioned better pricing to fix mine than any other place I've spoken with. I'm hoping to have him do the repairs soon!! Thanks Terrell

Paid 475.00 for a starter to get put on to have the same trouble as I did when my car first came here, then got an oil change, they didn t even put all my parts back on the car still messing the cover piece to my engine and was told it really doesn t do anything!! Well sir it was on there when I purchased the car and it was on there when I dropped it off !!!

Not professional at all, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE... I called to get a quote, got put on hold 9 1/2 minutes just to get hung up on. I called right back no answer. I still went up to the shop to speak with them about fixing my truck and the cost, but had to wait 17 minutes without anyone greeting me. Finally spoke with a guy who was so rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't give them any stars, ( but you have to in order to post the response) nor my business . HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

They were a little behind back in the summer and Danny made sure to inform me every step of the way. This is a small shop but the people there are so amazing. They even cleaned snow off my car for me before bringing it to me. Danny is one of my favorite people ever. He makes it easy to leave your vehicle in the hands of the mechanics. To be honest you really don t get any better with this shop. And if something goes bad early than expected and it s within warranty they are fixing it for FREE! I was very happy with the work done on my car and the customer service was exceptional. They noticed I needed new wipers and replaced them gratis. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for car repairs would go to brown street auto. It's kind of a family tradition to go there.

I have a couple great experiences here. I refer all my friends and family and I actually Drive 40 min just to get my regular maintenance work and repairs done here. Thy don t rip you off and are actually knowledgeable. Most shops just make up a bunch of issues and then present a huge bill, but this place actually diagnoses and repairs with fair pricing.

I went to Brown Street Auto Repair and my car is running awesome now. They did an oil change along with beating a different shops quote for the brake job I needed done as well. Great service; great people; I highly recommend anyone who drives a car to go to Brown Street Auto Repair!

They r a wonderful car repair shop. I lived close so he dropped me off and picked me bac up wen my car was done. They r very nice and friendly. They hav excellent prices. And they r pretty quick wit repairs. Thank ya!!!!

MIKE IS THE MAN. This is the place to go. I m always cautious with mechanics. I don t know anything so they could literally be telling me whatever they want. These guys treat you excellent. They are meticulous and FAIR. Insanity with the comparison other places. I will not be going elsewhere.

Mike and Danny are the bomb. I dealt with them directly, so I had more of a experience with them but any staff I encountered greeted me with warm smiles and hellos, and I was treated with the upmost respect, any time I was present at Brown Street Auto Repair.

I was floored! The courtesy that I received from the owner whose name is Mike and his lovely wife, made me feel like a valued customer. Since living in Akron, OH, I have visited other mechanic shops and have driven away feeling cheated, disrespected as a woman, and simply shocked by the services that were performed on previous vehicles I've owned, all while experiencing unconcerned customer service care. I had adopted the slogan, "all mechanics are liars and cheats" along with car dealership salesmen. Today, I stand amazed that after much prayer, I have found a honest mechanic shop. And, the MASTER CYLINDER repair was affordable for even my below poverty guideline income. Thumbs up! High five! Praise the Lord! 870 Brown Street Akron, OH.
