Absolute ZERO stars....DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR UPS ACCESS POINT DROP OFF!!! 1 month later (30 days), the package still says it is at this location. "Manager" was extremely rude/yelling/cursing when questioned about it and the worker just kept saying how UPS doesn't pay him *** NEWS FLASH- it is part of your duties working in that store*** 1 of 2 things CLEARLY happened here- either an employee stole it( MOST LIKELY), or they was careless and left my package on the register so a customer can steal it, either way they are responsible for my package. It was a mess dealing with this, including dealing with local authorities. This is my very FIRST review for ANY place or ANY thing period, I'm so disgusted I have to warn any potential customers to just go to the actual UPS location or anywhere except here.

Called in 645pm 9/29 to try to warranty a defective part. The person on the phone was of zero help. They did not remotely care to assist. Called a different store that was much better.

No one knows a single thing about what they re talking about. If you re going to work at an auto parts store, the least you could do is make sure your people have some sort of knowledge. Not sure what her name is but the lady is always rude behind the counter. Try to give them a part number from their website and act like it s the hardest thing they ve had to do. Would rather walk next store to oreillys.

And so, on April 29, 1932, Advance Stores Company came under the ownership of Arthur Taubman.LIFE IN THE 1930SThings were pretty dire in the United States in the early 30s. Unemployment was around 25 percent, businesses were struggling, a third of all banks had closed, and the New York Times stock index had cratered 89 percent. But even in the face of all that adversity, Arthur Taubman saw opportunity. Cars were becoming an indispensable part of American life, but auto production in Detroit had fallen by 75 percent. Taubman knew that many people during the Depression would need to keep their old cars on the road as long as possible.Taubman made a series of decisions during this era that built meaningful relationships with customers. During the WWII years, when rationing made auto parts scarce and domestic car production was ceased, Advance stores relied more on non-automotive product lines. They were quite busy at Christmastime, with a great selection of toy guns, cars, trains, dolls and other gift ideas to make kids happy. Photo from 1932And Taubman's strategy for merchandising, advertising, marketing and sales? Keep your store clean and well-merchandised and take such good care of him that he has to come back to you." Honesty, integrity, and customer service were always #1 at Advance stores. That meant going above and beyond for customers, including advice and helping out with minor repairs or maintenance tasks that could be done in-store or in the parking lot. Advance Auto Parts 1930 storefrontHis value of relationships also carried over into how Taubman took care of his employees. In the 30s, despite the Depression, Advance became one of the first companies to offer fringe benefits like paid sick leave, hospitalization insurance, paid vacation, profit sharing, and employee discounts. Along with better-than-average pay, Taubman encouraged teamwork and camaraderie with things like company sports teams, barbeques, and picnics.THE WAR ENDSThe post-WWII years were challenging for many businesses, which Advance responded to with savvy, parting ways with Pep Boys and marketing their own house-brand tires. By the start of the 1950s, Advance was on solid financial ground and had marked the start of an exciting new period for the company. It was at this time that Arthur Taubman's son, Nick, went to work for the company.A NEW ERANick Taubman continued Advance's expansion to more states, eventually doubling the number of stores over the decade. By 1969, Arthur assumed the role of Chairman, and Nick Taubman became President of the Advance Stores chain. Under Nick's leadership, Advance moved away from general merchandise and moved toward its core business of auto parts.By the start of the 80s, Nick had successfully taken Advance from a family-owned regional business to a publicly-traded national chain. Sweeping changes from top executive training down to the crisp new employee uniforms propelled the company forward. Advance Auto was now positioned to become a category killer in the aftermarket auto parts field.THE UNSTOPPABLE 80SA massive flood tore through Roanoke in 1985. Advance's home office and distribution center were devastated by waist-deep water, testing the resilience and heart of the company. But rather than accepting defeat, Advance took the opportunity to start fresh with a new, massive distribution center. By 1988, the 185,000 square foot Roanoke Distribution Center opened, allowing Advance to expand so rapidly that by the end of the 80s they had become the fastest growing aftermarket parts retailer in the country.PASSING THE TORCHSadly, founder Arthur Taubman passed away in Boca Raton, Florida in 1994, but the company he founded went on to thrive. Nick assumed his father's role as Chairman, and Advance benefitted from the leadership of subsequent CEOs Garnett Smith, Larry Castellani, Mike Coppola, and Darren Jackson. In 2015, Advance announced Tom Greco the new CEO, leaving his position as Frito-Lay North America CEO.ACQUISITIONS, EXPANSION AND GROWTHThe new century brought with it n

This is your every day parts store. I have no complaints. I wouldn't say they go above and beyond but they also aren't lacking and I'm ok with that. I don't need to be dazzled every time I walk into a place of business. They do exactly what they're supposed to. Its cut and dry. In today's work age (the great resignation of 2020-current 2021) I don't expect the full razzle dazzle from over worked burned out employees just trying to do their best. They seem to be holding it together so well done

This store on this day was a really good shopping experience. I needed some "seafoam" and to ask questions regarding my car. I had a woman service employee helping me so, the guys didn't have the opportunity to talk down to a woman...just because....i found what I needed got great service and was treated like a woman who works on her car. Grest job

Very poor customer service with Advance. They have a company policy that they do not have public restrooms. Do to someone overdosing on apparent heroin needle use. I have spent 1200 dollars at one time on parts there, waited for 40 min to have order filled and had to rush to a nearby McDonald's to use the restroom. I will always go to AutoZone from now, they have public restrooms. I can't wait till advance gets sued like Starbucks did.

Well, Google & Facebook state they are open until 9. That s not the case. Went there at 6:40pm and they were closed. Couldn t pick up my online order of a battery after work. So, I went next door to O Reily. I ve had other poor experiences but I keep giving them chances because of the lower cost. Well, it s not worth it. They have terrible customer service and apparently decide to close early.

The most unprofessional and lazy employees. I brought up a car battery that I bought there two years ago. The most expensive battery for my car. They said they had to charge it and test it. Asked my last name and wrote it down on piece of paper. Didn t even ask for contact number to call me. I had to give them one. Never gave me a estimated time of when it would be done and tested. Called them a few hours later and guy said it has 9 minutes to go and remained silent. So I had to ask if I should call back. He said yeah and went silent again. Called later and said battery was charged and tested and was good. Picked it up and went over test with employee. Told him (like I told him when droppignof battery that I opened caps on top at home because I was going to charge it and noticed two cells were low and one had corrosion on it. His response: oh, well I didn t open the caps and check anything, but you can put distilled water in it and charge at home. What autopart store doesn t check acid level or for corrosion? He literally told me to do it myself. Will never go to advanced again. And I m calling corporate today to complain . $140 battery I buy from them and they don t even do basic battery maintenance.

This is the worst Advance Auto Parts store on the planet. Being a customer that has a commercial account with Advance Auto Parts you would think that the $8 an hour guy behind the counter would listen to what you're telling him but when he completely ignores you and tells you you need something else. I set up a new account with a Riley's that's where I'll be doing my business from here on out

I have been coming here for years and I enjoyed it more when the hours were longer but O'Reilly's is a very good competitor for my business.

I received great service here! They didn't have the parts needed in stock, and the clerk called around to about 10 stores in the area to find what I needed.
