The very first time I spoke with James Adams he was so nice and very helpful. He claimed to have gone out of his way/job description to help me resolve my issues BUT after the issues still have not been resolved, the third time I called him, he became very rude and said " I am not your agent. Don't call me anymore, please call ___number." I tried to explain to him that I have called AAA customer service numbers and keep getting transferred AT LEAST 5 times all to no avail before I give up because no one knows what is going on.I am in Summit County; your office is Summit County as is the Hudson office, but they do not have an insurance agent. WHO WILL help me?

Called with my dead car in my driveway at 10am. Finally showed up at 3pm!!!!! Waited 5 hours and every time I called the operator would only say "We can't give you a time when they'll be there". I've had AAA for many years. Wished I hadn't just renewed my membership for 2024. The driver was very nice but Horrible "service". Don't waste your money and time!!!

AAA use to be really good now they just dispatch with any and everybody!!! They let these drivers accept stuff when they are way across town because of GREED!!! Then us paying customers have to sit and wait over a hour for driver coming from across town because they was the first to accept the pickup!!!! When it should be whoever in the area not who accept the job 1st!!!!!!

Called at 6 am. Was told yhe wrecker would be there by 6:56. Sat and waited for 3 hours, no wrecker. Used the worthless app to check status and the wait time got longer each time. Finally said the hell with it and left the car sit and got a ride home. The wife had to spend most of the day trying to arrange another tow. The car finally got back home around 6pm. As far as I'm concerned, AAA is the most useless service I've ever paid money for.

Me and my mom came there to do business and this old white man was kinda rude from the jump, me and my mom were calm and nice. He started getting attitude and getting rude to my mom. I will complain to manager and might take up to big people.

The Gentleman who came out rather quite quicker than I anticipated, needless to say. Mike was his name and he was quite friendly and good at his job because less than 90 seconds after pulling out his tools my car door was unlocked and I was able to retrieve my keys. He is a true professional. Hats off.

I have been a loyal member for 17 years and I rarely call for anything. I recently need a tow. They treated me like I was some criminal trying to rip them off. They didn t get my home address correct and went to the wrong location then tried to charge extra for extra mileage.I m sure I have paid 10 times what I have ever used in tows. Not worth it !!

How low of a score can I give? My daughter was stuck in downtown Akron at midnight last night after the Rubber Ducks game. She was there for 2 hours with NO UPDATE FOR ANYONE COMING! Why in the world are we paying for this service! NEVER AGAIN!

Here's the deal one average tow is between 50 to 70 dollars now day's, AAA cost apx 70 dollars a year you do the math. At this point it's a bad move to not sign up for AAA for just one tow... just do it and thank me later ...

The technician arived in under an hour, jumped my vehicle. I told the rep on the phone that it was not a rush,I was home and the car was dead in the garage. The technician checked the battery, alternator and starter. He determined that it was just the battery. I told him I would drive over to Goodyear and get a battery. He said he could change it right there, and quoted me the price. I pulled my paperwork from Goodyear from 2015, the price AAA quoted me was the same I had paid 6 years ago for a new battery. The AAA battery comes with a 6 year warranty.... full replacement for the first 3 years, and then less as the battery ages. You just can't beat that! Very pleased. We all complain when we have to wait for roadside assistance, so it may seem that you always have e a long wait. The fact of the matter is I was so pleased, that I was talking about my experience in the salon, and several people mentioned that they were very happy with the response time from AAA.

Very dissatisfied today. Car broke down and we called for a tow. We have been members for 5 years and apparently our auto renew did not happen this past October. Ok our mistake, so we then wanted to pay our account and get it up to date for a tow. Spent over an hour on the phone because everyone says they need to transfer me. Meanwhile my family and my kids are stranded and a hot parking lot on a hot day. After getting disconnected transferred and making a total of 10 different phone calls and paying for a membership to be renewed we were told that we within have to pay a $75 same day service charge plus they would not be able to tell us at our premier level and we have to charge us $5 a mile for the two translating to about $150 tow. long story short I made one phone call to a local tow company that got to me in 10 minutes after I had dealt with AAA unsuccessfully for over an hour. AAA really needs to make it so that every person that you talk to you is capable of handling all of those situations so there is no transfers needed. I don't understand why something so simplistic as a membership and a benefit requiring to be transferred so many times. I've always had positive experiences with AAA and like I said I've been a member for over 5 years but today was very disheartening

Waited in total over 4 hours for a tow. Called asking for a tow then they sent one out after 60 mins and then the tow truck they sent said they can t do the tow because of police calls. Call again get put on hold for 30 mins then they said they would send someone else out and it would be 90 more minutes. After 90 mins no one shows up so I call again and they said it be at least 40 more minutes. So in total I Waited over 4 hours for a tow .

I was stuck in the mud at a park . I was told it would be an hour before the truck arrived . Close to an hour later I called to confirm it was still coming . Oh , the woman said , yes , but it won't be able to get to you for 2 more hours . WHAT ???!!? And no on we even informed me of that ! 23 hours of sitting , stuck in the mud , when there are a lot of tow companies around . I ended up having to call company myself . The guy charged me 110 dollars to winch me 12 feet . Thanks Tiple A , what a lousy company !!!

I would prefer to give them a negative score. I payed for this service for my wife, my eldest daughter, and myself. This week my eldest had surgery. While recovering at home she asked his sister to take her car (the car belonging to me a card holder) to the corner store for groceries. Two blocks from the house my middle daughter noticed the tire was flat and had her sister (the card holder) call AAA. Even though the car was owned by a member, was driven on behalf of a member, and the call was made by a member they refused to produce the service we paid for because my eldest daughter was not at that moment IN the car. It wasn t until my middle daughter put my eldest in a wheelchair and pushed her two blocks through the snow to the car that they would agree to come. They did not arrive to service the car until two hours later. Fraud. Plain and simple.

When I needed them the most I was abandoned by AAA. I was in an accident out of town and no one knew of the benefits of a platinum membership. I was sent to different areas of membership while my phone was dying and until all the businesses that could help me closed. With the higher tier badge got me no where. I talked to the manager and he apologized. Will anything change, I doubt it! Seem to be all hype with the perks.

Terrible I had to get out in the rain, and sleet to change my own tire because I wasn't told that my wait time would be 5hrs. The dispatch said it would be an hr on my initial call!! Totally disappointed after waiting an hr and a half. I was put on hold for about 25min. Then I was told it would be another 4hrs!!!

Would rate zero if I could. Briefly- car broke down at 745. Tried to call. Voice repose suggested app. I tried the app. It said I had to call. I called, waited was transferred, waited, transferred again, and before I could say a word, aaa disconnected me. Called again, waited and was transferred again, aaa asked for my club number and again hung up on me. Daughter-in-law managed to navigate the app better and ordered the tow.. Was told 3 hours. After 3.5 I called . Agent was rude an d basically told me " we will get there when we get there or you can pay for it yourself. " Called Uber to get home because my kids had to be up with baby in 3 hours. Car arrived at my house at 5:45am. Driver was an angel but I am sorry I renewed my membership this year.

REFUSED TOWING SERVICE TO AN ACTUAL MEMBER! Seriously wondering why I bothered to even get a membership, at this point. During the heavy snowstorms, this last weekend, our vehicle got stuck in a snowbank as my husband was driving down our lane, our long driveway. Solution? Call AAA, to get pulled out, since I have a membership! Unfortunately, the woman answering the phone said that, for the time being, they weren't towing vehicles unless they were on a roadway, street, or highway...and she wasn't sure if or when that would change. SERIOUSLY?

Have been member for 63 years & WILL NOT be renewing AAA Plus membership in Dec. Had van, (bot CERTIFIED VAN Jan) towed to dealer for 7 repair & their ESTIMATED COST to repair was over $1,000 & said needed new battery (not true at this time, run down because replaced alternator) & had 2ND TOW to my home where mechanic friend repaired it for cost of $237. AAA refused 2nd row for same problem. Will miss AAA, but MY COST for 2nd tow ends it for me.

My car was damaged by the company AAA, contracted to tow our car. We called and complained, AAA said they were going to take care of it and make it right. We have called several times and still no results almost 3 weeks later. Not impressed with this company, or how they handle problems when they come up.

Emily at Akron AAA is a tremendous help in trip planning. Even in a time when everything is online she has great insights and resources. She helped us book a cruise room with a balcony for the same price we'd have paid online for an interior stateroom.

Called this AAA location for a auto insurance quote after getting my license and was told I d have to wait 2 days before I could get a quote. I waited and never got a call back or email. When I called I was quoted $200 for liability only and told she thought she sent an email. Complete waste of my time. None of the discounts promised were applicable. I called State Farm that same day, got a quote in 10min for $67 for liability and was insured same day. This place doesn t even want to work to earn the commission for selling insurance! Call and go elsewhere.

Triple aa called and is making it right with refunded the tow. Gentleman was polite and professional. Everyone should know tho that when the cops call for the tow YOU have to pay!! Thank you AAAI have aaa for years added granddaughter. She was stuck on highway and couldn t get all the way over. Called aaa for free tow. Cops came recommended another tow that he could get to come quicker. Called triple aaa. And they said no problem they could change company. Tow came and towed but then said $150 charge because cop calling negates aaa. What? No one said anything about it. Not aaa. Not the cop. Poor kid got hammered when I m paying for triple aaa services.

Roadside assistance is a cruel joke. Made us wait for an hour, cancelled our tow without warning, and then say we have to wait all over again. THREE HOUR WAIT FOR A TOW!Horrible. Would not recommend.
