3 BCM modules with numerous visits to the service shop in a 3 year period. Over $4K in repairs with the last repair being $900+ and upon departing the parking lot 6 service warnings went off. Apparently no test drive after resetting codes but quick to charge. Auctioning this vehicle soon and would never deal with Nelson again in the future. They also fire good staff members over minor infractions instead of showing empathy and talking to their employees about the issue. Spineless owners who would rather fire than to attempt to figure out employee issues first. Now left with staff that do a half fast job and charge big $'s.

I had a very good experience buying my new truck. Nick was very professional and nice to work with. When it came to setting things up in the cab he was very helpful. The person that helped me with the financial work was also really good. His name escapes me right now but made things easy for me.

Little to no updates from Nelson Associates. Great turnover with loaner trucks several times and great communication with that. But little to no contact from Service with Updates about the steps done or taken or completed during the process. We only received information when we, the customer, called in.Suggest implementing a 5 step process for updating clients:1. Inspection Complete2. Parts ordered3. Parts received4. Parts installed5. Ready for payment/pickup.Detailed communication from dealership to customer at the end of each step, would ensure that the customers are informed and are kept in the loop. There is a severe lack of communication between service writer and customer. This process would fix that.

My husband buy one car in Lithia Ford. They are really kind team, so helpful and give us really good deal. The car is used but still working really awesome. I look at for a new car, i will go back with them and find the good car for me with the help from their team. I love how beautiful place, clean room, restrooms, drink, coffee area. Showrooms is awesome. The room wait for the service is really relaxing

The guy that helped at 1st when I drove up last week. He said to come back in an hour for service. So I did and the other guy that schedules says no opening that day and best to schedule. So I did. It was today at 11am. I drove in and the guy was expecting me. I did need my tires rotated for the 1st time since I bought the car. That was done today. I saw on the paperwork that they went by what I said last time for oil change. Next time I will have them review. Also, I did ask about a car wash. He says they do not do that anymore. No car wash at Ford? Hmmm that is different. How do you keep your cars clean?I waited in the room by the show floor. Clean and nice. No newspaper though. I guess I am use to Lithia.I asked if I still had a free oil change or tires rotated as tires was my first rotate. He said no. I bought this car from Nelson in Fergus Falls. They said yes in Fergus Falls when I bought the car.When I left today, I looked as the Ford popped up an email. My code. Then the points I have. What are the points good for?I understand change of ownership.Will wait to hear from you.Thank you.

Charged for things I didn t ask to be completed. The car interior was dirty upon pick up. My oil change inspection form was not completed so it is difficult to really tell what was checked and what wasn t. The only evidence of the actual oil change being done is the new sticker in my car. Asked for things to be left alone (my radio/dash) and now those things are damaged/not put back together properly. Thank you Nelson Ford! A positive thought was that the office management staff was very polite and helpful through the issues.

Warranty work was done, went to pick up vehicle and the battery was dead. Now the bright headlights don't work either. Never had any issues like that before it went in. 2022 Ford f150 with 34,000 miles. No detailing shop and didn't even bother to wash it even after I asked multiple times. Last time I go there with that vehicle.

Met with Brandon, one of the salesmen at Nelson Ford, and was extremely impressed by his knowledge of the vehicle I was looking at. Not just the run of the mill knowledge, but his navigation thru the many options and settings in the display. Great Job!

We drove into the parking lot to look at what they had in stock. Many new and used available. We narrowed it down to 2. When we went inside we were greeted by our Salesman Sean. We were in town for hockey so we had limited time. We sat down and talked about trade value on my current vehicle which they came back with a very reasonable trade offer. All 3-Sales, Trade, & Financing went above and beyond for us. It was definitely one of the best vehicle purchases I've ever experienced. My husband dislikes the purchasing process of a vehicle and he even agreed that it was a great experience. We came home with our New 2022 Expedition Max Limited.

Excellent service experience at Nelson Ford! They answered all of my questions, had fast service technicians, were easy to schedule with and had massage chairs in the waiting area! The dealership was clean and all of the people working were super friendly.

I had an emergency repair that I needed to have done this Monday on my Ford F150. I didn t have an appointment but my service representative bent over backwards to help take care of my repair quickly. I can really see the new owners of Nelson Ford dealership have some great people working for them!

Since Nelson's have taken over I'm now happy to support this dealership again. I was getting pretty frustrated with the last owner's lack of care and how they ran things. There is alot of good laid back people at Nelson's that will take care of your car buying experience without adding alot of stress. 5 stars for sure.

We had an appointment for 11 a.m. for a set of new tires and an oil change. Was finally told everything was ready at 3:30 p.m., after waiting over four hours! When going over the paperwork we discovered they hadn't done some of the things that they were charging us for like changing out the spare tire and installing a new engine filter. So we had to wait another half hour while they completed some of what they said they had done, and they still didn't change out the spare tire! We never did receive the inspection report. When we asked about it they emailed a cell phone photo of the first page which we couldn't even read. We won't be going back.

After many unpleasant encounters with the service department at the Grand Forks Ford dealership I had sworn off patronizing them again. Recently, the dealership changed handsand is now owned by local family.I was apprehensive even considering purchasing a new vehicle from them, but as soon as I walked in the door I could tell there was a major culture shift. Everyone was friendly, happy to assist, and seemed as though they truly enjoyed being there.Nick is incredibly knowledgeable and makes the purchasing process upbeat and fun. Bob was beyond helpful and valued my trade significantly higher than I expected.If you were like me and had decided never to give your business to the Ford dealership in Grand Forks again, reconsider. This family owned business treats you as family and exceeded my expectations. Welcome to Grand Forks, Nelson Ford. I look forward to serval more business transactions with you down the road!

My wife and I had excellent help from Nelson Ford sales department (Mr. Nick Bergan). Professional, personable and really helped with a trade-in as well as a new car purchase. The finance officer was excellent as well. Highly recommend Nelson Ford in Grand Forks.

Lithia Ford of Grand Forks no longer exists. It's Nelson Auto now. I took my 2019 Ford Fusion there for an oil change and it took them an hour and a half! It wasn't until near the end that the sales/service rep came to me and said that the mechanic found a really dirty air filter. However, the mechanic did not communicate to the sales/service rep that I had a dirty air filter. The sales/service rep said he found when he went back through his list of clients. After I declined putting in a new filter, the mechanic finished up, but just before I left, I asked the sales/service rep why it took so long, he said it was because there's a new service system the mechanics are getting used to plus the mechanic that worked on my car is a little new. So, overall, I was not impressed with anything. I have the lifetime oil change that I bought with the car 4 yrs ago, which is great, but the fact that Lithia has been bought out by Nelson Auto sucks. The service is too slow. And that's as honest as I can be about my experience today.

Salesman Brandon needs to learn what "little to no rust and really good condition" mean. After an over 5 hour drive to look at an F150 I had been dealing on that they had for sale Brandon brought it around for me to look at and take for a drive, as soon as I got within 20 feet of it I could see the drivers side cab corner was rusted so I went around to the passengers side and that cab corner was rusted as well along with the rear fender, I quit looking after that. It took me less than 30 seconds to see it was rusted, when I went back inside Brandon asked if there was a problem and I told him its rusted and he asked me where. Is Brandon blind or does he think I am too dumb to know what rust looks like? When I told him where he then said "Well its a 10 year old vehicle" and I told him you told me little to no rust. He flat out lied to me about the condition of the vehicle. I wasted an entire day on an over 10 hour round trip and over $120 in gas too look at a vehicle for 30 seconds because he lied to me about the condition, I would have never been interested in the F150 if I had known it had rust. I will never considering buying from Nelson Ford and would never recommend them to anyone.

Very bad service that I ever had in my whole life, lier when they sold the car, internal damaged was in the car when I purchased but they lied to me everything is good because they knows we can't do the internal inspection by ourselves. Technician also lying to tell the truth there is a internal damage in the car, Rydell is giving me 100% guarantee that car has a internal damage but NELSON is saying there is nothing wrong. I would not recommend anyone to buy the car from NELSON. I still have a lot to say but can't write every thing here. If there is star for Zero I would give them ZERO nit even one star.

I was not happy at all with my recent visit. The customer service in their service department was less than professional. The only reason I gave three stars was because the assistant service manager took over the job and handled it all very well.

I feel on the one-year anniversary of owning my jeep grand Cherokee, I should warn other buyers of this place. Within the first two weeks of driving my new vehicle it had to be taken in as it was sold to me with a blown head gasket. The dealership here in fargo said they would ve had to of known of the issue before selling it to me. I could not get a hold of the service manager, nor the representative that sold it to me after the purchase had been made, and needed assistance with the warranty. They took so long to get back to me that my 30 day warranty expired, which I believe they were trying to do on purpose, and I had to go through the extended warranty, which was much more of a process. Six months after I had to replace the radiator and truly feel I was sold a lemon in my first car purchase independently. These people are crooked and do not deserve your business. Please stay away from them.

Bought a used 2020 F150 from these folks. They made the deal right by making sure the vehicle was spotless inside and out after it was properly detailed the first time. They also had the bed Rhino Lined free of charge. Jace did a fantastic job making me feel comfortable during the buying process, would recommend him to anyone!
