First time here. Did not expect to find such "GeM" Travel Center in the "middle of nowhere" (locals, sorry). Spotless restrooms, clean, neat and organized everywhere you look. These guys definitely take pride taking care of this places! Great place to stop by for little rest or snack on the way through. Or just to see and memorize an example of HOW CLEAN every Travel Center SHOULD BE (no pressure)))! No joke! It is very friendly to truckers. Cozy and comfi parking. And even little things for truckers to buy for their trucks..see pictures. Highly recommend to everyone who is going through or even swing here to see this place with your own eyes inside out - SPOTLESS! Wish other & even big chain Travel Centers regional managers found time in their busy schedule and swing by here and promote such inner culture within their stores.

Stopped and got fuel and went in to get some food and when my wife and I stepped up to the counter the 2 girls working g there got into a 5 minute argument over which one of them "HAD" to check us out, then the one that "HAD" to mumbled the whole time and was not happy to have us there. Won't be stopping there anymore.

Very clean restrooms and even offers showers. The chicken sandwich was okay, but the inside of the store makes it worth a stop.

13 hour road trip with the kids screaming, stopped here about halfway and the lady st the coffee station gave some icecream to my daughter and probably some of the nicest service I've ever received. Amazing staff, great place.

Nice travel center, but the food is honestly way too expensive for the area. $7 for a basic Cheeseburger is too much.

Kind employees. Stopped in twice within 20 hours. Lots of options. Clean bathrooms. Super cute dogs in the parking lot waiting for tgier owners too.

Nice clean little truck stop. Honestly was a little skeptical at first since it wasn t a big chain truck stop, but they have showers and plenty of big truck parking. Small coffee shop and Ice cream stand inside as well as a deli.

Clean restroom, lots of tourist info, and great customer service. I accidentally dropped my fries and Natty (behind the counter) was so so nice about it. She asked the deli to make me more French fries, and swept up my mess without making me feel any worse about it. 10/10!

As many have mentioned this is a great pitstop along 85. Clean place with plenty of snack/drink selections. Only thing to watch out for on your drive north along 85 from Spearfish to here - there is a crazy cowboy with yellow tinted sunglasses who will drive dangerously on 85 (passing up blind hills etc) and then confront you on your driving when you stop there.

Needed a quick in and out. lots of room to pull in with fifth wheel in tow. great spot for gasdecent prices too.

Stopped here twice while traveling. The restroom was surprisingly clean. Stayed in town the first night and they were about the only option for food later in the evening. To be clear, the grab and go burger and chicken sandwich we got were maybe 2.5 stars, but they were much better than nothing which seemed to be our other choice.

Only place nearby for gas and food. Stopped here at least 3 times. They have just about anything you need and prices aren't too absurd for Alaska. The employees aren't very social or friendly though.

Very nice place! It is clean, quiet, well lighted, with a friendly staff and the lot is clean and free of potholes in the parking lots. The store is large and not cramped feeling with a large variety of snacks, drinks and food. Showers are $8.00 and usually with no waiting. The shower rooms aren't huge, but are decent sized and come with linens if you need them. There are some washers and dryers there at $2.00 each for washing and drying. My clothes came out clean and dried in the allotted time, no need for extra quarters to get things dried properly. There are hookups for semi trucks to plug in to electricity although when I inquired I was told that the hookups are not compatible with RVs. I didn't ask any further about why that was. Overall this is a great place to stop, clean up and rest for a few minutes or even a few days. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling.

Above average truck stop facility (especially for a smaller town), with a well-stacked c-store, coffee bar, grill, showers, laundry, and plenty of parking for big trucks. Very busy on this Tuesday. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

Having lived nearby in Hettinger as a kid and now trucking across the country, this place always has a special spot. The shower, although small, was good. The people were super friendly and provided a great customer experience.

The food is ok, I typically find it's the best proper truck stop for quite a few miles in any direction. The food is not half bad either if your in a hurry. The decor inside is novel, it's lots of taxidermy for sale if that's something that might float your boat. I generally find the bathrooms to be clean and well kept. The prices overall are quite fair.

Very clean restrooms & showers. Also did laundry. Washer & Dryer were not coin operated , you pay $1.50 to wash & $1.50 to dry to the cashier , pretty cool. A small , but comfortable drivers lounge with t.v. & a computer/printer. Plenty of truck parking. The staff were very friendly & courteous. Nice quiet place to take a break , or like me , do a 34 hour restart.

This was a nice stop in Bowman, which is surrounded by "a lot of not much else". We filled up our car with gas, as the winds were blowing at gale force strength. Then, we went inside to get something to eat at the food counter. I don't think the food was healthy in any shape, form or fashion, but it was a decent for gas station food. We ended up stopping here on our way back home too.

My favorite place to stop at whenever I visit Bowman. They have a wide variety and a great selection of snacks, hot-n-ready food, cold sandwiches, and a multitude of drinks. Their bathrooms are also well kept.
