Car trouble in the middle of a seven hour trip and they went out of their way to get me back on the road. Jennifer, Bethany, and the whole crew really looked out for me. If I lived near Williamston, this would be my garage! Great communication, reasonable rates, excellent work, and above all, real concern for the customer. Thank you Jimmie Council's!

Driving to the outer banks from Charlotte, nc today and my check engine light came on 5 minutes away from this shop. Arrived during their lunch hour and every team member I encountered was so kind and reassuring and took care of my car issue quickly so that I could get on my way to my vacation. So thankful to have found this shop! 10/10 would recommend!

Every single person we talked to was so personable and kind. They could have easily turned us away as we called minutes before closing but they went out of their way to find us someone who could tow our car quickly. They fixed our tire and were so helpful with advice and resources in the area. Highly recommend!Service: TiresService: Tires

Every time I've gone to Jimmy's Auto good customer diagnose I suggest what type of repair is needed pricing is good for the work being I'll always return tell my friends about it

They did a fantastic job and the best part of all was Jennifer calling and explaining in detail the issues that needed to be fixed, the why and the how of what needed to be done! Hands down, one of the best experiences I've had at a repair shop in the past 20+ years!!! Keep up the good work! And thank you for being a member of the Martin County Chamber of Commerce, or else I wouldn't have known where to take my vehicle!Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

The office staff was friendly and helpful in making an appointment that was convenient for me. Upon arrival, my vehicle was taken back to the service area without delay. The mechanic was thorough and was really knowledgeable about the problem that I was having with my vehicle. After diagnosis, he told me what he had found wrong and what was needed to remedy the problem. I have been a customer at Jimmie Council Auto Repair for over twenty years and I keep coming back because Jennifer and her team stand behind the work that they do. I have used Jimmy Council's garage several times over the last 15 years. They have the most friendly staff. They give you honest service at a great price. They are always eager to assist in getting the problem fixed. If you want your vehicle fixed and fixed right the first time then go to Jimmy Council's garage. You will not be disappointed.

The front office lady had very poor attitude for her business. Due to her attitude will never be going back there. The guy in the front office said "shes in one of her moods" well im so sorry that she was in one of her moods but that's not how business is done just to do something to help her business make money. Lesson learned never again. I rate the shop a half a star.

My wife and I have been taking our Jeep liberty to Councils for about three years now. We have had a few issues that have been taken care of. We always feel like they take care of our vehicle as if it was their own. A couple of times they found an issue that we were not aware of. Any time we take a trip out of town we take our vehicle to councils for general maintenance. Another great thing is that all the work is done in a very timely manner. Thank you so much for keeping my wheels turning.

The folks here are truly a blessing!! After my transmission went out on a 4 hr drive they not only immediately helped me diagnose the problem. They even were kind enough to take me 30 min down the road to meet up with family, being that I was and hr away from them and and hr away from home. After all was said and done not only did they get my repairs done within a matter of days but I was also pleased with the work. I highly recommend them for any auto care needs!!

My first experience with this garage was over 20 years ago when I had a truck that was experiencing problems that a dealer had been unable to diagnose on three separate occasions. I left the dealer and stopped by this garage on my way home. In just a few minutes Mr. Jimmy was able to give me what he thought was the issue and what it would take to solve it. He was correct on both counts and when I went to pick up the truck, I was pleased to find that not only was it correctly repaired but that that there were none of the grease smears and stains on my vehicle that I have come to expect from other garages. Since then they have worked on more than ten other vehicles for both myself and other family members and we have always been highly satisfied with their results. They let you know upfront what they feel is needed and always call to get approval if things change. We've had everything from engine replacement to electrical work done and and I've come to expect quality work at a fair price by mechanics who care about their work and their customers. I've brought in more than my share of "head scratcher" problems and they've always come through for me. I've also reccomended them to a number of friends and co-workers and to a man, everyone has been satisfied with there work.I do attempt to do as much of my own vehicle repairs as possible and will often stop in for advice. Jennifer, Reno, and crew always cheerfully stop and take the time to listen to and share their knowledge with me. Needless to say, they are the first ones I consult when having vehicle issues. They've always gone out of their way to accomodate my needs and I can't imagine going anywhere else for my car repair needs!

Fast with a high standard to a good price!They hold what they promise.We had a problem with our RV at the beginning of our six month trip through USA and Canada. Went there because of the positive comments and stayed because its true. :)Its a beautiful family business with exceptional friendly and kind people. We needed to stay for the night and they let us stand with the RV under the roof because of the rain, even let us use their electricity and WiFi. And in the evening they sat down with us, gave precious tips to where to drive and what to do next. Even gave us a tour of their Oldtimers, Reno's awesome bike's and a promising future Airbnb project.We left really satisfied and happy to met so warm hearted people.RV is running great, thanks alot to the whole team!!!Even get a blessing, can't take a pricetag on that.We will take you with us, God bless and take care!Rena and Konstantin

This place wss God sent! The owners were super friendly and very professional. They made our bad situation feel so much better by treating us so nice and making us laugh while fixing our car. I would highly recommend them!

Today with the coming snow my wife went to work and her car broke down. I call and these people not only fixed her car but did so in the most caring and polite manner. No appointment; just a simple "we'll take care of it". Jimmy Council is my Go-To auto repair from now on.

My work has been taking their vehicles to Councils for the last 15 years that I know of and they have always been satisfied with the work that has been done. Therefore, I have been taking my vehicles there for the last 10 years and I am always pleased the fast and friendly service I have received there.

While in NC looking to possibly relocate from CT after our condo complex was destroyed in a fire our AC stopped working and it was 90 degrees. JCAR was the first place that popped up in our search. They were extremely kind and friendly and fit us right in. If it wasn't for the fact that we were staying in Greensboro l would have absolutely come back to have them finish the job.

I have been doing business with the Council's for well over 10 years and have never been dissatisfied. From diagnostics to repairs, they are always honest, fair and efficient. I highly recommend them!

I used Jimmie Council's shop to get my stored 72 Suburban running so it could be shipped to me. My family was helping get this taken care of as I'm in another state. I've owned and worked on the truck for 16 years. I knew exactly what was wrong with it and I gave a set of instructions. 1. Don't install a new fuel pump. 2. Install the new carburetor I provided. 3. Free up the frozen caliper using parts I provided. After several communications between myself, my family and the shop, Jimmie was unwilling to follow my instructions and unable to get it running. He installed a new fuel pump, did not install the new carburetor, freed up the wheel and used the new calipers provided but did not check the rotor (warped) and reinstalled the old rotor instead of installing the new one provided. Jimmie was disrespectful, rude, and even laughed at me on the phone when I again explained what was wrong with the truck (stuck carb fuel intake needles from sitting) because it differed from his diagnosis. I finally gave up and had it shipped home not running - incurring an extra fee. When it arrived, I noticed a few things: 1. The battery hold down clamp for the new battery installed by Jimmie WAS NOT INSTALLED. This left the connected battery loose to bounce around. 2. The hose from the steel fuel line to the new fuel pump installed by Jimmie WAS MISSING. This left an open line to the fuel tank - next to an unsecured battery! Beyond this, using the instructions I gave the shop, I had the truck running fine in about 20 minutes - something Jimmie was unable or unwilling to do. I sent several emails to the shop asking what had happened, for proof of purchase for the battery and fuel pump for warranty, and for an invoice of the work. I received no reply until I posted a review on Car Talk. The reply did apologize, actually admitted to leaving off the battery clamp and the hose (UNBELIEVABLY DANGEROUS), and sent a host of excuses for the whole hot mess from age, illness, injury, staff issues - and more. Lots of "Ifs" and "maybes" though and no offers for reparations. They did offer to send me my original fuel pump (which had about an hour of run time on it) but - its not shown up yet and I've not heard from them again.

Ms Jennifer is the bomb!!!! She helped me get my radiator right until I can get insurance to fix it from a previous hit and run. I d definitely bring my car back to mr jimmies!

They are really good with what they do, no matter what time of the day within shop hours of course they will help you out with no problem at all! They will do their very best to fix the problem as soon as possible.

A rare find! Such kind people! I broke down near their shop on a Saturday and even though they were out of town themselves, Ms Jennifer went out of her way to call around and look for someone to help me. Someone who will bend over backwards like that when there is nothing in it for themselves is a rare find.

I needed help with my truck Sunday morning and my road side assistance company was unable to help. I called Mr. Council and he found a mechanic to come to me! Saved the day!
