Just had my mower serviced. This was my first time here but it won t be my last. Adam was great, did a thorough job, and paid attention to detail. I hope to keep this old mower running for at least a few more years. They re easy to schedule with and are great to communicate. I highly recommend!

Rice s small engine did a great job servicing my weed eater, chain saw, blower, and generator.I ve had issues with the generator in the past and had it serviced elsewhere for it to not work a month or two down the road. This was not the case when I received my generator back from Rice s. Everything that could be checked was checked and it cranks on the first pull every time now.If you are looking for friendly and highly knowledgeable folks who will do a good job the first time. This is where you want to go.

Shout out to Adam Rice for helping my husband get his Rhino running when he couldn t figure it out. He came to us and then helped Travis get it the shop. So friendly and answered all our questions!!!

Adam did a fantastic job taking care of our club car golf cart. The cart is used to take my in-laws (89 and 98 years old) on short excursions. He rebuilt the engine and had it up and running better than ever in a short period of time, knowing that having it available is important to us. Thanks so much for your excellent and timely work!

Adam was great! Got my Can Am Commander Max XT yearly service done and was half the price of a dealer. Took extra time to explain the service that was done and steps to keep my vehicle running for a long time. Very quick on the service turnaround. Will definitely use Adam from now on.

Adam was great he revived an old four wheeler that was passed down from my wife's dad. It wasn't running and we didn't want to get rid of it but we didn't know how long it had been sitting. He looked it over for us took care of getting it running, tuned up and put new brakes on for us. He does great work and communicates with you throughout the process. If you have something that you need worked on, this is the place to go!Thanks for getting our machine running again!

Brought my lawnmowers there. Adam is a really nice guy. He returned my mowers in "like new" condition. Amanda was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely bring my equipment there when they need repair and will recommend highly to friends

Adam was very informative on all the things needed to be done with my mower and went far and beyond to make sure it was running like it did 10 yrs ago ! I highly recommend him to anyone with atv/ movers / and small engine repairs

They did a great job on a very old chipper. It was rusted and showing its 20+ years and now it works like a new machine. They were honest, professional, and knowledgeable. . I trusted their expertise and would definitely do business with them again.

Rice's is a family owned business that is BUSY. That being said, we only waited 2 weeks for an appointment for our riding lawn mower and it was ready in less than 2 weeks. Affordable and friendly, our family APPRECIATES this local business and the WAY they do business!

I was looking for a place to take my Toro lawnmower to get it tuned, and a local shop shared that Rice's was the place to go. They were right. Adam was able to get to my lawnmower in short order, and it is working great. He is easy to work with and very oriented to customer service. There is no question I will take it back there in the future.

Highest marks for great service on my Husqvarna lawnmower. I thought it was ready for the graveyard but they resurrected it and it runs like a champ. They are analytical, innovative and willing to go the extra yards for good service.

We brought our Craftsmen YT 4000 in with major front end issues and needing some all around routine maintenance. Adam is a first rate tech, and an all around first rate person. We will certainly be back.

Took our 11 year old Huskavarna AWD to Adam and Amanda Rice, he had it 4 days.It was in sad shap- needed a complete tune up, blade was saved by resharpening it. All four wheels were bald and needed replacement. The wheels have sprockets so it wasn't a simple swap or at least to me it wasn't. It couldn't make it up a hill because the belt was loose and needed retentioning. He was able to save the original belt too. The repair price was more than fair. Got the mower back in 5 days, anywhere else had a 3-4 week waiting time and often they couldn't give us an estimate. I trust him so much that I'm letting him work on our whole house 17,500 watt generator. It needs a new carburetor, line flush and general tune up.The only negative is that by me writing such a positive review that he will be busier now and I'll have to wait another day or two to get my generator done : )

The owners and repairs were great! I dropped off my dirty lawnmower that was barely working and returned about a week later to pick it up. The mower looked brand new! They replaced the carburetor and air filter, sharpened the blades, gave the whole thing a nice tune up! I will recommend them to people. Nice, fast, and reasonably priced!

I honestly can t wait to take another piece of equipment here because I know there will be zero problems with the entire experience. For background, I took a 2014 Troy-Bilt self propelled mower here simply for a tuneup. It s the beginning of spring, and I had no existing problems with the mower, but, being spring, I anticipated that they would at least have a backlog of a week or two. I was correct, and I asked them when they wanted me to drop it off. They told me anytime was fine; if it was in the shop, they might be able to work on it sooner. Less than 24hrs later, they told me it was ready.You will be surprised to know that, as of now, it is literally two people. From the service, to the updates via text, to the price of the service, I would have thought this was a business of at least 10 people. Their shop is clean, they are wonderful, courteous, and amicable folks who do dynamite work. The price was easy, and the whole experience was streamlined for me. I appreciate their work, and, as I said, I will be taking more equipment there throughout the seasons.

My mother has a Craftsman riding lawnmower that came with her new home. It was so inefficient that I often had to burn through a full tank and a half of gas for each mow of her yard which is just shy of an acre. I assumed the blades just needed to be sharpened, but she recommended we take the mower here to Rice's and get the whole thing looked at and worked on.Thankfully, we did just that as they showed us there was much more wrong with it than just the blades being dull. Rodents had apparently chewed through electrical components at some point in the mower's past.They had fixed it over a month ago, but I wanted to see how much more gas mileage (or mowage) it got. I'm happy to say that today is my fourth full mow on a single tank of gas! It's a huge improvement and I really appreciate the work Rice's has done as it has saved me a lot of the frustration I used to have when it came to helping my mom with her yard.

My push mower needed its annual maintenance and blade sharpening. I expected to wait a couple weeks to get it back, but it was done right away and I got it back in a couple days. My mower even came back sparkling clean. The price was right, the work done was impeccable, and I d recommend Rice s to anyone needing quality work done.

We have a Toro riding mower that was a pain to get started. We took it down to Adam and not only did he fix the issue but he also done a full service as well, sharpened blades, oil change, filters, you name it!! When we went to go pick it up, he had also cleaned it as well!! I cannot say enough good things about these folks, I would highly recommend them to anyone! They are very professional and honest! Do your self and your equipment a favor and call them! You will not be disappointed!

Would highly recommend using Rice's Small Engines! Adam and Amanda were so great to work... very professional and knowledgeable. We brought in a Cub Cadet for routine annual service, and Adam had serviced and ready the following day. So nice to find a reputable repair/ service locally. Again would highly recommend!!

Very impressed. Usually I maintain the mower myself but this year I ran out of time. They fixed her from top to bottom and she just sparkles and runs like a brand new machine. The husband and wife are quality honest people just like the old days.

You will not find a better locally owned small engine repair shop. Their professionalism, down to earth family atmosphere, honest, and customer communication was why I chose to use them. I was not disappointed and will be a long term customer for all my small engine repair needs. I'd highly recommend this business to anyone!!!!

This business is great!! I had a chainsaw and trimmer that needed repair and they were available to get them done in a week. The trimmer ended up having more issues than we thought and it would be cheaper to buy a new one. They didn t charge for not being able to fix it. I then had another chainsaw and trimmer to repair and this time the chainsaw was the same it could be fixed but it would be cheaper to buy a new one. Adam and Amanda are just really good business owners and people. They are knowledgable and I trust them to do the their best to get my equipment back and running in as little time as possible. The price was reasonable too! Thanks y all. I will definitely recommend you to anyone needing your services!

I brought in a push mower, weedeater, and leaf blower for tune-ups. I d been using them for several years mowing 10+ yards a week and had only done enough maintenance to keep them going. All of it runs like new now, even the decades-old leaf blower that s always been fussy to start. They were easy to communicate with for drop-off and pick-up, and the turnaround time was several days sooner than their original estimate. Really kind folks who do good work at a reasonable price, would absolutely recommend them!

Awesome service, fast turn-around and very reasonably priced! Dropped my non-working mower off, half expecting it was the end, but Adam got it working like a new machine. Highly recommend!
