The first time I took my wife s 2010 Chevy caprice, PPV vehicle to them because it was misfiring. They quoted me one price and charge me another told me they put a new coil pack on which was not true. They had bought a used coil pack and put one on my charge before a new one .the second vehicle. I just took there three days ago Chevy Tahoe another PPV vehicle had them put on the strut and lower ball joint on the right side, . I told him it was for the right side. My wife went and pick the car up they charged us more than what they had quoted us. and they put it on the wrong side of the vehicle. They put the parts on the left side. The reason she found this out is when she pulled away with the vehicle, her &my nephew, noticed it was still making the same noises when we brought it in but it ended up charging me $320 not what they had quoted .and not even put on the right side where the work needed to be done ask them if they would go ahead and fix this. They said no they wanted to charge me another 200 or so dollars to fix the right size they said it not their fault. I do not recommend this place to anybody. I will never bring another vehicle true their shop again if I could protest outside of their shop, I would they really don t know what they re doing when it comes to billing and giving customers quotes and satisfaction when they make mistakes .it definitely was not on the right side. Surely they could ve seen that when they repaired the vehicle if I could give a call to let us know the vehicle still making noise if they did their job and was a customer satisfaction place if I could, I would give this place a zero, I would. do not recommend this place to anyone please take my advice.

Great service! Brung my car in from a over heating problem and the team was able to get me in and out with no hesitation! Diagnostic price is definitely affordable and I absolutely recommend Nichols to the community and citizens of Tarboro! I also got a oil change and it was very quick! I had my air conditioning fixed and my driver side window wouldn t roll down so it was repaired as well. When I left from having it repaired, I went to a drive thru and the window glass fell into the door as I rolled the window down because the regulator broke! I called and they were so kind and told me to bring it right back and fixed it for me! My air conditioning blow so cold now that I sometimes I have turn it off! And I haven t had any problems with the window! They were all so kind and courteous! Quick work and left my car very clean after the job was done!! Had them do a head gasket repair, only lasted 3,500 miles and engine is overheating again Didn't asked for it to last forever ,spent over 2,200 dollars and it lasted for 3,500 miles. Very sorry workService: Engine repairService: Engine repair

My car broke down so I called and the receptionist scheduled a tow. All of the information she provided was accurate and she called me to keep me updated on the progress of fixing my car. Havent had any problems with my car since & the price was reasonable.

Do not go to Nichols Automotive Specialists under any circumstances!!!I have had to file reports today with the FTC, the BBB and NCDMV due to fraud. Yesterday I took my newly purchased Mercedes Benz sedan there for my NC Safety Inspection. They passed it in all categories which I expected because it was in great shape, but when I left I noticed something seemed wrong with my power steering.I took it to my normal mechanic, Kenny at KV Automotive, and he informed me that the brand new power steering line had been punctured intentionally. The placement of the puncture makes it impossible that this happened due to wear and tear.When I went to Nichols to see what they would do to make this right the mechanic claimed that it was pouring out fluid during the inspection. When I asked why they would pass a vehicle that had fluids pouring out and not inform us of this he was told by the receptionist to shut up and not say anything more. We were told to leave.I drive my 4 grand babies around in that car. This could have caused an accident when I drove out of there. If you value your vehicle or your safety do not trust these fraudsters!!!#Fraud #WorstMechanicsInTarboro

Very nice guy, there was a enough room the tow truck for me and daughter, he gave me a ride in town to a safe place to make phone calls to arrange a pick up,very nice and great service thanks

The sunroof was open when they towed my car away, they had the key. It rained for days inside my car before I could pay to get it out. Destroyed the inside of it!

Took my truck to have work done, they fixed one issue but never fixed the real problem. Was charged tremendously for nothing.

Did very nice work with my alternator and serpentine belt... but couldn't fix my brakes...just gave up..

They will repair you car, it may be expensive depending on the issue, however you will never have to replace it again.
