I was pleased with the work except they did not fix everything the first time. I had to leave my truck for another twelve working days. When I finally got my truck back there was trash left in the bed of the truck from the repairs and a sleeve of solo cups and a top to a spray can in the back seat. They did not keep me informed as they said they would I had to call to get any info on the truck. Again quality of the work was fine the customer service was the worst I have ever experienced.

I love doing business with Richie s Body Shop the whole team is professional and courteous. My car is always better than I left when I pick it up. I never have to take it back or call about something that wasn t done. It s always done right the first time! Thank you

Staff was awesome ..work was perfect ..and got everything done on time actually a day early..that place is awesome ..and Margie in the front office is very very helpful and overall a very nice lady she handled everything without me having to make one phone call..will definitely refer a friend and bring them my business anytime I need it

Best Body Shop I ever have done business with, the repairs on my 2006 Explorer was super. They went over and beyond with the repairs keep me up to date on the status, washed inside and out and even changed the oil before return car to me. They have my business!!

Richies Body Shop was phenomenal. The work to our vehicle, was excellent and completed in a timely manner. The Receptionist provided amazing customer service from beginning to end. Highly recommend Richies Body Shop for any and all repair needs.

I am beyond happy with the work that was done at Richie s. They did such a beautiful job and even though it did take a while (that can t be helped), it was definitely worth the wait! Margie is phenomenal and she made my experience just that much better, she is one of the sweetest people I ve ever interacted with at a business. Heather was also extremely helpful! I didn't actually have any work done, but the ladies in the front office hooked me up with a rim repair shop, Alloy Rim Repair in Charlotte. Thank you ladies for the referral, got me fixed up and on the road in no time!

I was visiting and passing through Shelby a couple of days ago, from out of state, and noticed a mis-align on my front-end. A piece of the front under-molding on my 2015 Accord had come loose and affected the turn on the left front tire & front end. I asked about body shops in the area, to get it checked out, as I was still traveling and Richies Body Shop was recommended to me by a complete stranger. I am glad he gave me their location. They welcomed me and offered to check the problem out while I waited. Margie at the front desk greeted me and got someone to pull my car in and check it out. In no time at all, they realigned and reattached the loose pieces on my front end, secured the clips and explained clearly what was going on underneath. I was able to get back on the road in less than an hour (they had multiple customers in and out while I was there) and made me feel like I was a priority. I would recommend them to anyone, if you're in Shelby or just passing through, as they were kind, courteous and professional. Gave me good peace of mind for the remainder of my trip!Service: Body & Trim

Rock stars at Richies... Especially Marge and Heather.... Long story short, had an issue getting the insurance company to sign off on a couple of supplements, and the vehicle sat finished for a week... Both of these ladies worked hard to make things happen and keeping me informed of what was going on. I called them daily and instead of getting frustrated with me, were always kind and completely professional. When Marge brought my vehicle around I was shocked at how good it looked. Cant thank this location enough for all the great work .... Highly recommend...Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My appointment was scheduled two months and a half months away before the repairs began, then I had to wait more time because it took them longer to repair the damage. I expected to be treated a little better especially for what they charge for the repair of my vehicle. There was an additional supplement claim and still don't understand why it costs so much. Their prices are extremely high but there is not enough competition in the area for them to have reasonable prices. Then, I had to keep going up to the shop to check on it because the carwise was not adequate in updating the status. Then, my car was not ready on time and was extended another week, and when I got it back, the rearview mirrors and window switch on the driver door did not work properly. They did not fully assemble the car back properly. The best part of the repair was the PAINT. However Labor could have been better. The receptionist was very nice and professional, too.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I absolutely love the people at Richie's! They got my car done two days earlier than the original quote time. Margie at the front desk is such a sweetheart, will definitely do business with them again (hopefully nothing else happens to my car lol)!

My car was fixed here from a tree falling. The job performed for the fixes were great. However, my husband picked my car up and brought it home and parked it. (.2 miles from shop) When I took a look at my car, after arriving home from work, the first thing I noticed was a big dent and scrape marks down the drivers side back end of my car with white transfer paint.. I send my husband back today to ask about it. We literally drove this car down the street and parked..(In no way did someone hit it outside of this shop) we were told to file an insurance claim as my car apparently was hit..I am extremely disappointed in that response. I trusted you to take care of me and my family. Not only did this whole ordeal cost me THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. But now to deal with another repair, due to someone s negligence..I am more distressed to the fact that we were basically told we are lying and caused this damage ourselves.. not a happy camper. And of course I did not receive a call back today.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I hit a deer on Dec 11th of 2022. Took to Richie's for estimate and scheduled a repair. Couldn't get in until Feb 15th of 2023, so I waited until then. They told me they would have my car for 9 days. They ended up having it for 36 days. Not much explanation given as to why....no backorder parts, etc.....I would call but was not given a satisfactory answer. I would not recommend this body shop.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

So far things have been pleasant over all the only issue I have had is they are extremely slow. After talking to folks around town (I am new to the area) they seem to have a reputation of being one of the slowest shops in the area. I was told by one young lady on the phone my Jeep was basically back together and they needed about a week to get it aligned and wrapped up. I called today and was told it could be another few weeks until it s done. The issue is it s been over 2 month long ( which I was told 1 month is all it would take), and it sounds like it will be closer to 2.5-3 months before it s completed. I don t know what the hold up is really if it s them or my insurance company but either way I am abit salty now since I have been paying for a vehicle I can t drive.They do great work.

They were extremely professional, so kind, just amazing people in general. Mike that did my estimate was so sweet and joked with my son and even took our Chick-fil-A trash (he noticed we were finishing our food & I was looking for a trash can as he was finishing estimate) and threw it away so I didn t have to keep it in the car to throw away later. But they kept me super informed the whole time and the job was flawless. The ladies at the front show so much friendliness and have the best energy, so really the whole atmosphere there doesn t even feel like being at a repair shop.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I was told my car would only take a week and it has been a month. Terrible communication. Was told my car would be done Friday then Monday was told it would be Tuesday and so on. It s now Saturday, they are closed and I still don t have my car. Unacceptable.Service: PaintingService: Painting
