The two technicians that helped me were wonderful and both deserve raises. I came here for a second opinion after Autozone told me my alternator was bad and that it'd probably need to be replaced. They went above and beyond and out of their way to pop my hood. (My button for popping my hood is completely gone so you have to use a pair on pliers to lift it up and then lift the hood or jingle it a little bit.) Then they throughly checked everything and it turned out my alternator was fine and they said that corrosion could probably be the cause of my battery light turning on. This is the only auto parts store I will go to now. 100/10

Went here to grab some front brakes for my truck. The guy behind the desk was unable to help me and could only look at a computer screen. I've had the same truck for 11 years, have done all my brake changes and never had a problem getting them anywhere else. They need some knowledgeable people that actually know parts and don't just go off what the screen says.

Had an issue today I thought it was a bad battery. I bought a new $200 one and the manager (Ted I think) noticed it was a loose terminal. He took 20 minutes of his time to clean all the corrosion AND put pads under and sprayed the terminals to reduce this happening in the future. Saved me $200 and gave top notch service. I would recommend this store to anyone!

Courteous and professional staff. I went to have my battery checked and they were very honest in telling me that it was good rather than trying to sell me something that I didn't need. I truly appreciate that.

May 10 I was parked at the advance to get a fuel filter, air cleaner and items to hook up an inverter and was awakened by a horn. The guy says to move that's his spot. That's where he parks. Lol I didn't argue, I moved. But apparently this store needs named after this guy because the lot was empty besides me and the delivery vehicle. I spend a lot of time in these stores especially when on the road and this morning was just that. Don't worry Camry guy your pretty car is shaded but you definitely lost a customer. By the way I was parked there because I was pulling a trailer. Thanks for the great customer service. I have a pic of the car if I can get it to post. Thanks for reading. Oh and just for gud measure he did tell me after I backed 5 spaced I was good! Back to counting white lines on this hwy....

This store is generally well stocked but seems understaffed. I'm not sure if that's accurate, but it's definitely the perception I get after several visits to the store in the past several weeks. The employees working the register also answer calls, so getting assistance is an oddly frustrating experience. You have to catch them at just the right time between calls. Once you have their attention they helpful, but getting their attention can be as frustrating as replacing wiper blades.

So my breaks start seizing up. I can smell my new pads burning away. I wjip in Advance and grab a new caliper slapped it on right in the parking and was gone in 60 seconds. No in kidding but 30 minutes later I was gone for real. Thank you Avdance Auto.

I managed to get to the store to have my battery/alternator checked yesterday. I want to thank Rhonda for all of her help. I've never liked advanced but that's where I made it before my car died in the parking lot. She was very helpful. Will go out of my way to get what i need for my car from this store. Thanks Rhonda

Called to ask about a cv boot was put on hold because they were helping another costumer. I was on hold for 10 minutes and no one picked up the line so hung up.

Employees were busy talking to each other behind the counter. Had to stand there to get them to help me. Just a very sad experience. Wish I'd gone to Autozone.

Good employees quick service. The guy mike that works there is a good guy the really needs to be on the radio. He has a voice for radio . If someone is in broadcasting please check him out.

Gave me wrong paint then gave no receipt an now they won't let me exchange or get my money back...they said oh well ur paint color has to be special ordered because we don't have it in the store...that's what they tell me after the fact of selling me the wrong product smh.

Shelby NCSeems to have everything we need.I just sit in the car with my feet propped on the dash, as my husband goes in to get what he needs.I always just ask, "please make it quick!"

The service was quick and the price was right. I was a little disappointed they didn't install headlight bulbs. But otherwise it's a good local place to buy automotive accessories.

Went in 10 mins before closing while it was raining, had a broken wiper blade and needed some help. Staff helped a lot and was very knowledgeable and found me new wiper blades and even replaced them for me!! Great people

I just walked out of this store without any help. They were not busy. I know he saw me standing at the counter. I just was ignored. First time there in years. Last time I'm going there in years.

Good prices and you can order your items online and usually get a discount then pick up your order or have them to ship it to your house.

The best staff of any parts place in Shelby. Makes the one on Lafayette look like a joke. This is the only Advance Auto Parts that I recognize in Shelby.
