I have a 3 star review because of the auto center manager because I had to take extra time out of my life to get my money back which also took a bit of a quarrel which I did not want to have. The service provided by the mechanics has always been very good. The male service advisor who checked me in has always been polite, after having him check me in or out multiple times. Please read: according to Walmart corporate, lifetime balance and rotation is an optional 15 dollar charge per tire. You do not have to have this unless you tell them you want it. Having a tire mounted (11.00) includes balancing. It does not include those special valve stem things that are 3 dollars per tire. Balancing with mounting is standard. Also: There is No Additional Charge for having a tire you did not buy at Walmart mounted. Just be aware, as I read another persons review who was over charged for lifetime rotation and balance she did not ask for!

Employees were very polite. Helped me understand all my options to take better care of my engine. Everything went fairly quickly and I was back on my way!

First of all I need to apologize to Brandy Alicia and Frederick. About 2 months ago I came in on the Sunday to get a new tire and there was no way I could leave the place without one. They were already closed but these three employees made it happen for me. I owe them a whole lot I would have never made it to work the next day I would have never made it home that day and they sacrificed a lot for me. So I want to say I'm sorry for taking so long for this thank you but I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

Not a person doing anything. Show up st 4:15 to get 2 tires and I was turned away because they dont do tires past 4. Yet they are open untill 6. This is why people hate walmart

If you need a quick oil change for cheap this is your place. But don t expect the works like a real auto shop. Certain workers don t really care like its there passion.

They give me an appointment then failed to call when the computers went down. 2nd appt was given to another customer. Then I was told they had nothing to fit my vehicle. This is ridiculous for customer service. I will not be going back and don't recommend anyone else go to the service center at Salisbury NC.

I bought 2 new tires for my daughters car here. The tires were $53.00 each and had plenty of mileage expectancy on them. The service was courteous, and the wait wasn't too awful long. However, the 2 tires which were give or take $106.00 before taxes were added ended up costing me $163.00 and some change. YES! I expected a cost for them to be put on, that's not what through me for a loop. The $14.00 per tire "lifetime care" cost that HAD to be added, EVEN IF you did not wish to have it is what bothered me. The 28.00 you are required to pay. I even explained just because I came here to buy some tires because I don't have the machine at home to put them on doesn't necessarily mean I'm going to come back and have you guys rotate them or anything after the matter. That is presumptuous to charge me for something that hasn't occured yet, or that you know for a fact I'm going to need. The tires were already on. I tried to pay the 150.00 I was told. I was told I had to wait for the paperwork. Then it was 163.00 . So just be careful with the pricing. The guys were nice as I said. The tires are great. Car drives alot better. It's not the service you gotta watch for, it's the company.

Had to edit and drop my last 5-star review to 1 star based on how I was handled today. I arrived on a Saturday at 6:45 AM, waiting for the store to open as scheduled at 7 AM. I was the 1st in line waiting for the shop to open. About 7:10 AM I called the store to ask what time the car care center would open, and someone says we will open once a manager comes down and opens the doors. Ok...so I wait and then about 7:17 AM they slowly waltz out and take about ten more minutes to get set up. Someone approaches me after asking who was first and then when I tell him I needed air in my tire he says well, it's going to be a while because we've got to get to these other cars, referring to the other 2 people that arrived after me. I remind him that I arrived 1st, and he tells me that getting air is a courtesy, which I understand. But I spent a nice chunk of change purchasing my tires from this very store! And whether I purchased my tires from here or not I have to wait to get something that takes less than 2 minutes??? In total, my wait was about 50 minutes. They did finally put air In my tires but the way I was handled left a bad taste in my mouth. Come on Walmart. It's air and 2 minutes of your time. I spent 17 minutes of mine waiting for you to open your doors, another 10 for you to set up, and about 15 more for you to decide whether or not you had enough manpower to take 2 minutes or less to give me air in my tires. What was I supposed to feel after this experience? Nevertheless, I thank you for the courtesy that I would have gladly paid for.

Oil and tire rotation was successful after 2hrs and 45 min. Noone in shop when I arrived and 1 guy took 2 hours to do the 2 things I requested. Absolutely terrible having to wait that long. Price is right and the work is acceptable but just an unnecessary wait

The service was great,however I would have liked to have the actual price before. I was given an estimate of $360, but actual cost was $407. Quite a difference. I feel if you buy the tires the rotation should be free.

5:29 when i got there and needed a oil change .. don t close till 7 and told me they couldn t do it .. need to hire more help !

Brought my car in for an oil change. Car was just fine. Went in to Walmart to shop while they changed the oil. After about 20 minutes I heard my name come over the intercom telling me to return to the auto center. Upon arrival, they tell me that my car is leaking a lot of fluid and that they can't do the oil change. They moved the car out of the garage and told me that they think its gas leaking from the tank and that I shouldn't even drive it. As soon as I hopped in the car I could feel the brake pedal go straight to the floor. They had no clue what they were talking about, and like I said my car was completely fine before I let them take it in. Drove and stopped perfectly fine which leads me to believe that they jammed on my brakes too hard when moving the car into the garage. Would not recommend letting them anywhere near your vehicle.

I arrived on the weekend at 5:30 p.m. I had a tire blowout and put on a spare time that wasnt in the best condition. I was out of town and needed to drive hours to get back home. Came to this auto care center needing 2 tires. The place was packed. They got it done and worked over time! Very impressed! Friendly service!

Be aware their hours are NOT until 7pm as listed on google and even next to their bay door. They're short staffed and the manager is too slack to change the hours posted. They usually close at 3:30-5pm depending on the staffing situation. The guys in automotive get chewed out everyday due to the slack of the manager not changing the hours on google.I doubt this post will make anything happen but I hope it does.

They messed up my car and refused to provide me with a rental. They had the audacity to give me a 50.00 gift card for my inconvenience as well. I advise NO ONE to get an oil change from them. They have knowingly continuously provided oil changes to my vehicle knowing they messed up the threading in it the first time but failed to mention it to me. My car is currently at the dealership being fixed which left me having to pay for it until their insurance deemes it their fault to fix it. I am completely throwed by this experience and they should be SHUT DOWN permanently!

Do not go get your car fixed or oil changed here. They will break your vehicle. I got my oil changed here before Christmas and my check engine light came on after Christmas. Inspected the vehicle and they had taken my air temperature sensor out of the place it was supposed to be in and lay it down where you couldn't see it. They do this so your light comes on and you'll have to go back and see what the issue is so you owe them more money. It always takes them hours to do my vehicle's oil change, and now I know why because they want to try to sabotage my vehicle so I bring it back. I will no longer do business with this Walmart, the employers are hateful and bitter and they think they do no wrong when clearly they are. Worst service ever.

I been there two times and they take care of you, you do have to make an appointment, and usually no more then an hour to swap 4 tires, I would recommend them. Earlier appointments get you out sooner

I went to this Walmart on 1/26 to get a new battery and oil change. When I left my car started making a knocking noise that wasn t there before. I took it back to them and they tell me it was the ac compressor. Why all of a sudden my ac compressor is out when it was working fine before I came to them. The next day my car won t start. Took it to my dealership and they told me the battery was dead. I took it back after my dealership fixed my ac compressor to replace the battery. They tell me it is the alternator or the starter. I told them it wasn t because I just left my dealership and they told me it was the battery. They replaced it and my car still won t start. I will never bring my car here again.

I normally change my own oil, however I was pressed for time and needed to get shopping done so I thought I d let wal mart handle it one time, what s the harm? They tightened my oil filter so tight that it started to leak, and I couldn t get it off with my bare hand (which I normally do) and my oil plug was so tight I had to take it to an actually mechanic and have it put on a lift and a torque wrench was used to loosen the oil plug. When I called to have them possibly loosen it and make it right they told me I had to pay for another oil change for them to even touch it. That is piss poor customer service and caused me to never want to come back. If I were you, id pay a real mechanic who knows what they are doing even if it costs 5 dollars extra. Never will I ever take my car to wal mart again!

Sorriest walmart ever. Can't keep it stocked with diesel oil, dog treats etc. Call on phone, they won't answer. Or will pick up receiver and hang up. Asked a auto stock boy , in person if he had any mobil 15w 40 diesel oil, he smartly said if its not on shelf then no. I asked if he could check stock room he replied if it not on shelf we don't have it. Came home looked on web site, stoor is to suppose to have 4 five gallon buckets on hand. Have tried calling several times , and nobody will answer phone. Store needs new mangement,and employees. I have gotten discusted with this store. No better than this store is run , it should be closed down.

Would give zero but not possible. After waiting for an hour and a half even though I was here when they opened 10 minutes late they just now started working on my car. I was the 3rd car and they have already went around mine to the 4th and 5th. All I wanted was an oil change. I would never recommend anyone to come here until they get their act together.

Good reasonable prices takes about 45 minutes to an hour anytime you have something done but the good thing is you can keep yourself occupied by shopping in Walmart while you wait! That's really the main reason why I go there because I hate sitting and waiting with nothing to do.

Just got an oil change. Super quick with short wait time. Teamwork ensured I wasn't waiting all day and they didn't pressure me with extras that costs extra.

They made my 60 year old mother change her own tire in the parking lot while they sat and watched. Absolutely disgusting

I went to get new tires. They said because they only had one tire person who was qualified there they couldn't do it . I watched be as 4 people walked around for a hour and did nothing.
