This was the worst experience I ve ever had with a mechanic. He does shiesty work, no warranties, Never gives updates on your car unless you call him, tells lies about your vehicle s progress. Then gets upset with you for wanting information about your vehicle. Don t take your car there . Hope this saves someone .Services: Transmission, Engine repairServices: Transmission, Engine repair

Please note with this business. I have seen personally things taken off other vehicles with the same make or compatable model parts taken off of other vehicles. Then place on other vehicles as if it was a new part resold to that person.There was another incident when my family was not notified that their vehicle was taken to a actual dealership without their knowledge to be repaired. If he couldn't do the work fine. He could have let them know. Then they were charged by him as if he did the vehicle repair. The way we actually found out was when we were tired of his shady business. We ended up taking it to the actual dealership and he had the vehicle under his name email address and was getting discounts from the the company. The dealership actually was shocked . We were shocked to find out how often this was done. Without my family member's knowledge. He actually didn't do the repairs and acted as if it was his vehicle. There are too many incidents to name. I tried reporting him to the bbb they had no other reports against him. If you have had a bad experience by this owner post it. Share your experiences. I just don't like dishonesty. Question everything ask for actual invoice repairs and warranty parts receipts. I have personally got cheated out of that. I know there has to be others that have had the same experience please speak up.Side note you should make sure he actually have workers have ase certification. I found out that most or if all are not certified to work on the vehicle. At that time my vehicle was there most of his workers were off the streets. A former employee had told me after I was done so badly that he was not certified. He had some experience working on vehicles. He said litaker did that so he didn't have to pay them alot of money. My vehicle that I had taken there was not fixed and he told me it was. Then when I got there he said well it still has the same issue going on after I paid him. What a con artist.

There are numerous red flags just by the outside presentation of this business which gives you a 1st impression of the overall integrity:1. The property looks unkempt and sketchy.2. A person lives outside of a car on the premises.3. Non-acceptance of cash.After being charged for a specific car repair, the problem is still not resolved and actually worst then it was prior. Now I have to spend extra money to fix a repair done incorrectly.1.This place is unprofessional in the HIGHEST OF REGARDS.2.They are NOT trustworthy mechanics.3. There is NO overall accountability or integrity toward the customers whatsoever.

Doesn't take cards or checks, no invoices and he will sell you a used tire at new price. He's a shade tree mechanic who happens to have a building. Don't waste your money, he's a crook. If he does fix your problem, don't expect a warranty because he doesn't do work orders. If you make it out of the parking lot, it's your problem

Litakers garage was a life saver for me! I just recently had a horrible experience with sears auto in Greensboro(never take your car to them) they had my car for 3 days misdiagnosed it couldn t even fix it. I took my car to them running Friday Sunday couldn t even start. Mitch Litaker told me exactly what problem was towed my car to his shop and had it fixed in one day! This is a licensed and very professional shop I recommend his services to everyone

When changing a transmission, they put saw dust in the transmission, removed my oil pan and sold my catalytic converter and other parts to other customers. They also only take cash, which is a red flag for this business. Steer clear from this shop. He also does not own the business, so if there's a problem.with services (which their wil be), you cannot sue the business, because he has assets in other people's names. Classic slickster and defrauder from paying Federal, State and local taxes.

Took my GMC Acadia in due to oil leaking. Mitch was quick to let me know the problem and cost of solution. I called a few other mechanics for a quote, and Litakers cost was very fair. I have had zero issues since then. I live in Greensboro, but will absolutely use Litakers for our families cars. That's not a trusting world, but I trust Litakers.

Sells used tires as new, cash only, no invoices, overpriced and shoddy workmanship and location.This place screwed over so many people that it's even infamous on reddit.

Very sketchy, not taking any forms of payment but cash, no invoices, etc. Also sell used tires as new. Very bad in general so DO NOT GO HERE

This is the best mechanic shop I've seen I along time these guys are great the work fast great prices and professional. Shout out to all the guys there who took care of my Blazer U guys rock!!

this place will always try to take your money, i took my 2001 dodge here, they said my steering fluid oil was leaking, when in fact i check all of my oils before getting a job done, basically just drained and sprayed all of that down, and STILL charged me it...
