I broke down on I64 and Googled reviews as I knew no one in Rocky Mount. A1 had great reviews so I contacted them and was towed there. They quickly diagnosed what was wrong and repaired my car and was back on the road. They explained everything and were courteous and professional. I wished I lived closer as they would be my mechanics!

Dropped my car off for brake work, 9 days passed by and NOTHING WAS DONE TO MY CAR, not even an estimate to the brake work. I went to pick it up and the tech says nothing. I'll never take my vehicles to them again.UPDATE: THE OWNER CALLED AND APOLOGIZED AS HE WAS NOT THERE TO TAKE CARE OF THINGS. THIS MEANS ALOT TO ME BECAUSE MOST CAR SHOPS DON'T GIVE A DAMN HONESTLY. I REALLY APPRECIATE THE PROFESSIONALISM SHOWN BEHIND THIS INCIDENT!

From now on, I plan to use A1 bright side for all future car repairs. The office manager and technicians are courteous and knowledgeable. They explain clearly the work that needs to be done, and they followed up the next day to see if l am happy with their work. I strongly recommend this business.

I used A1 brightside auto for the first time. They did great work. They gave me an estimate and stuck to it. There was a slight problem with an adjustment on calibration of the dash and they told me to come right back and three people jumped on it right away and fixed it. I don't think I could be any more happy. Planning on using them regularly. They also gave me some good advice about future service needs.

I was traveling on my first camping trip & the transmission temp said HOT!! I was in the area of Rocky Mount and I called briteside on a Friday before Labor Day weekend. They graciously squeezed me in and looked at my car thoroughly and found the problem.If I lived near RM I they would be my transmission people. Finally made it to camp. Service: Transmission

Car is working fine. However, someone bought Bojangles and left the empty bag in my vehicle...with no food in it for me. I thought that was disrespectful. If you're going to Bojangles in my car and can't take your trash with you, at least leave me a piece of chicken or something...Geez...

Was concerned I would have to travel out of town for Audi repairs however, mechanics were knowledgeable and were able to repair without any inconvenience. Communicated throughout whole process. Repairs were very reasonable and installed same day. I needed to have a camshaft position sensor replaced and Brian was very knowledgeable and friendly when helping me. He took time to go through the specs of my car and get the process started with the mechanic. He also gave me my future maintenance requirements and gave me a printout of them. Very professional and informative with repairs on my 2007 Lexus. Mr. Kris and Basher have the diplomas, knowledge and experience to get you back on the road again. Prices are competative and service is valuable. I love the email correspondence on necessary repairs needed prior to approval which saves time. Highly recommended this service center. My 2012 Ford Focus broke down so I called them to tow it, diagnose it, and repair it. They told me what the problem was and quoted me a price over $4,000 I said ok and paid the down payment of $1,500. Days go by and no real updates. Then they tell me another costly problem that I believe happened because they were not careful. These people are crooks trying to take advantage of hard working people at no remorse. I caught them in lies and they commit illegal practices. EXTREMELY unprofessional. The owners need a receptionist because they are undoubtedly rude, especially Kris. I would not trust these guys with a speck of dust. PLEASE BEWARE!They supposedly repaired everything then after I received my vehicle the engine light came on the next day, then the day after I almost crashed because the car shut down on me. I had it towed (from a different company) to them to figure out why the car that just left their repair shop is not working. They tell me it s another costly problem with my car. Like I said, BEWARE. My work van was throwing a code saying that it could not communicate with the fuel pump control module. I replaced the module myself and it did not fix the problem. I dropped it off at A1 and they had me back on the road in no time. One of the grounding straps had worn out and was not properly grounding the system. They also took care of a squeal that I had under the hood while it was there (I didnt ask them to look at that)!! Thank You!!

I used a mailbox advertising coupon & saved big $. Really great customer service. Comfortable waiting area with curtesy coffee, tea & water. Explained everything in detail that I asked. After getting through a little misunderstanding and miscommunication the work performed on my SUV has been above satisfactory. I m happy with the work done, and my wife is happy with the work done. So if the wife happy I m happy. Happy wife happy life.

After breaking down while on vacation, Chris was the only repair shop that would get us right in without hesitation. Him and his two mechanics worked after hours to work on our truck. He even took time out to give us a ride to our hotel. Chris and his team were amazing! The bill was far less than we were figuring and others had told us based on our issue. We can't say enough good about this repair shop and highly recommend it! If we could give him 10 stars we would.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I felt like I was taken advantage of I was charged $165 for a diagnostic for a problem that was not solved I was told that it might be a crankshaft sensor why charge someone so much if you can t find the problem I don t need a night I need a resolution I felt like bc I was a women and from out of town I was charged way to much this is not okay I spent my last for this problem after spending all my money on taking my sister to see a chemo doctor that s not fair or right to do I ve always been charged like $85 for a diagnostic and to know what the problem. Was and not a might also when I brought my car I was not given a estimate or quote on how much anything would be so yea that s u fair

I visited A1 to get a pre purchase inspection and the service was amazing! I am not from rocky mount and was unsure of where to go and who could fit me in last minute, but within 10 minutes of stopping in I was able to get my vehicle looked at. Bashar, the owner, allowed me to walk outside and pointed out a few things I should know about. He was very honest, friendly, and professional. I was even able to get some money knocked off my vehicle for some things he caught! I would definitely recommend this place for your car needs. They are very friendly and affordable!
