Awful experience here. After test driving a car with the salesman, and communicating that we were ready to commit on a car just waiting for instructions on method of deposit, the communication was so poor between the sales person and the manager, that they allowed someone else to test drive and buy the car the next day. No communication back whatsoever. Will never be back here.

As the saying goes "I'm not mad, I am just extremely disappointed." Background: purchased 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee new and currently has 31k miles on it - 2 months ago had service done where we purchased it at Cary Autopark - this week check engine light came on at the same time it needed an inspection. Since Westgate is about 15 miles closer to our location than Autopark, and down the road from work, I thought out of convenience I would take it there to have the CEL looked at and an inspection done at the same time (since the CEL would need to be addressed for the inspection). Schedule the earliest appointment a week out and go to drop the vehicle. Service associate pulls up my information and states that he will need to talk to the technician to see if they can even bring in the vehicle. Slightly confused at this point, he returns and states that the technician can not bring in the vehicle because the previous work was done elsewhere and I have to take it back to that shop. I asked why they can't bring it in to simply hook up the OBD, check the code, and see if its something unrelated to the work at Autopark that they can address at Westgate. Response: we are unable to diagnose any issues since it has been serviced elsewhere. Again I asked the stupid question, so you can't even pull the code and 1) see if it's a faulty code and clear, 2) see if it's something as simple as a blown fuse or sensor which would be unrelated to any prior service and fix, or 3) just see what code is being triggered? Response, no my technician says we cannot bring the vehicle in and you must take it back to the dealer you purchased it from. The conversation continued as I attempted to understand where the disconnect in communication was and why I wasn't told this a week before when I scheduled the appointment. Had the service associate simply explained the situation and rationale (even if it wasn't rational) or not been short and without respect in his responses - the entire interaction would have gone a different direction. I am extremely disappointed in the experience, lack of courtesy, and professionalism displayed at the Westgate Service department. I would not recommend bringing your vehicle to be serviced here. I will give 5 stars to the gentleman working the drop off area who apologized to me for the interaction as I got back into the car.

This department is the worst service department I have ever come across. They never answer the phones, they don t communicate and they are unreliable!! They have no idea how to diagnose an issue and they have damaged the steering linkage on my jeep! If I could give them negative stars there wouldn t be enough stars! Horrendous is an understatement! Never again!

I had purchased a 2020 grand cherokee and wanted to get the 4 wheel drive differential, trans filter pan replacement and transfer case oil changed. I asked for an estimate, all they could provide was a copy of a copy of a copy of standard services. So not to be an butt, I said I was going to lunch, here is my vin# and I will be back for the professional estimate for the service I wanted after lunch. Came back 2 hours later and was given the same copy of a generic copy with hours scribbled on the end. Not 1 detail on the type ( synth, weight, part #) , brand (Mopar or other, amount of fluid that each service will require. This is something I would expect at the corner service station. Jiffy lube is more forth comming. I was looking for a professional itemized list from a dealer service location for what was involved with the service. I had to walk away I was so taken a-back. Happy I asked for an estimate first. Had to take a pass and go another way.

Had an oil change and tire rotation here on our 2019 Pacifica. The guy that helped me was very friendly. However I m just not sure why they wanted $453.88 for a new headlight bulb-not the labor, just bulb. The bulb cost about $60 on Amazon.

Westgate has a hugh selection of used Certified Pre-owned vehicles. My husband and I found a beautiful truck for a great price. Stacy was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Bought our Jeep 02/22 from Westgate which includes lifetime oil and rotation. Service advisers are very nice. In the past I would gladly give 5 stars. Went to get oil change today, 2nd since buying, which I asked to balance the tires and not to rotate. (I understood it would be extra cost) an hour later I'm told the vehicle is completed. I checked out with a different advisor who said "the techs said your tires are too low on tread, it's recommended to get new tires, so they did not do the rotation". 1st I didn't want a rotation. I asked what is the recommended amount of 32nds of tread life knowing the state is 3/32nd or better. They did not have the answer for me. The tread is easily 8-16/32nds still. So I chaulked it up as either they are telling people they need new tires when they don't or the Techs are to lazy to balance larger tires.

When you give a review and share your bad experience, they respond to the review asking to get in touch with them so that they can look into the issue. When you try to contact no one really cares , they don't even answer the phone.Please refrain from doing any business in this dealership.

I came in to get a tire balance and rotation under the Jeep Wave Program. The website says that the express lane hours are 7:30-6:00, no appointment needed. I got there at 5:18pm. I was told that the tech leave at 5:00pm and to come back tomorrow in the morning or before 3:00pm. I replied that I thought the techs are there until 5, and she said they like to get done early. I guess express describes their work hours.Edit: I went in the next day at 8:18am. I was told it would only be 45 minutes. It ended up taking over 2.5 hours for a simple balance.

Ernest Green the sales person was very open and provided me detailed information on any questions that I had about the car. He was always open, honest and friendly and did everything he said he would. His ability to explain all my options and all the details about the car along with a great personality are what influenced my purchase at this dealership rather than somewhere else in the end. I would recommend Westgate cars and Ernest Green to friends and relatives looking to buy a car. Great customer service and follow up!

I experienced the worst customer service in my life at this location. Not once, but twice, has this location performed maintenance on my Jeep only to have me bring the vehicle back within a week with the same problems after they "fixed" the issue. This latest time, my husband and I were 60 miles outside of town and had to have the car towed to the service department the day after it had been "fixed" and we were stranded with no rental options. Jeep held our car for over 4 months to fix the issue that they had already supposedly fixed. Part of this was lead time on parts (no fault there as that is out of everyone's control). The biggest issue was lack of communication. It was almost impossible to get anyone on the phone. And when someone would answer, we were constantly told that the service person was speaking with someone else or was otherwise unavailable and would call us back. However, we never received call backs and we would have to repeat the process over and over. We asked multiple times for rental options considering it was such a long period of time, to which we were told they would look into it and get back with us. Of course no one ever got back with us even after asking multiple times. When we were told that it was fixed for the second time, we asked that it be test driven to confirm the issue no longer existed. They agreed and said they would call us the next day to confirm no issues and give a pick up day. However, we received no call. So, we had to again call back and try to get someone on the phone. We were finally able to figure out that the issue was not fixed after the test drive and would require additional time to diagnose and fix. Again, no communication. Finally, at pick up, the only consolation for all of our troubles was a free car wash and a ~$100 off the bill. There was no towing reimbursement, no rental vehicle offerings during the 4 months, no apologies for the horrible service. Nothing.At long last, after 4 months of dealing with no responses and constant runarounds, we have our car back. Fingers crossed the "fixed" issue doesn't happen again. I will take my car to anywhere else when given the opportunity for sure. Worst experience ever.Service: Auto maintenance

I have a 2015 wrangler and have been using Westgate jeep ever since I bought the car there. I would say conservatively that this is the absolute most disappointment I ve ever had with a service appointment. I ve had all of my service done at Westgate. I ve noticed over the past two years that they seem inundated and don t return calls in a timely fashion, furthermore it is very difficult to get anyone on the phone. My most recent disappointment was when I had a new front and back bumper placed on my wrangler and what I thought was going to be a winch edition. It took me a month to get the appointment for the work. It was extremely difficult to get in touch with the person handling the work. I took one and a half days off from work to get this done. When I was told the work was done and I returned they had put the front and back bumpers on but no winch. I paid the parts and labor. I spoke to the person handling my work he denied of course that I had ever wanted a winch. I told him that I still wanted one. He never contacted me afterwards to rectify the situation. I spoke to the service manager and they told me that they did not control this aspect of the work. I have yet to hear back from the parts manager. I have put over $10,000 of aftermarket modifications on my car at west gate Jeep. I ve had all my service done there. I will not be getting any service there moving forward, I will not be getting any more aftermarket modifications to the jeep at west gate. If I ever decide to sell this fantastic car that I have, which is the only reason I would ever put up with this type of service until this final moment, I will not sell it to Westgate. I will not buy my next jeep at Westgate. They did not value my time, when I wanted some sort of simple resolution I did not get it.Service: Body & Trim

After having not such a positive experience at a different Jeep dealership, I came to Westgate not very optimistic about my ability to trade in my leased car. However, I was wrong. Ramesh was very professional, friendly, helpful, and communicative. He let me know every step that was being taken and ensured I was a part of the process. He went the extra mile to contact the leasing company to assist me with buying out my lease. It was a very pleasant experience and renewed my willingness to buy a Jeep again in the future.

The easiest car purchase I ve made! My sales rep Stacy was amazing! She walked me through the whole process and was transparent about pricing, warranty s, and next steps. The finance manager, Daniel, was very efficient and helped me wrap up my experience in a timely fashion. I will be returning to this location for my next car purchase for sure!

David Cox was one of the best car salesman I have ever met hands down. From the moment I walked into Westgate until I walked out with a car. He was very adamant and dedicated to his job and also me. As always in the past services oil change/tire rotation, have been excellent service were displayed from the time of arrival and completion. I drive a distance away to get my vehicle service, but I have no complain because your service team always make me feel like a Special Ram 1500 owner. And we care attitude makes me feel that I am wanted to be here. Thanks to Shekiria the service person that always greets with a smile, makes me feel that I am welcome! The dealer that worked with me to insure that I get a good deal with trading my older vehicle. So I could get a newer vehicle. The process wasn t that long. The dealer Logan helped me out so much with in them 2hr it made a world of difference from recent dealerships that I have been to. All around great experience!!!! I will be coming back for my second vehicle.

This was the third time talking my truck in for service. The first two times I dropped it off the evening before my appointment witch was the next day at 9 a.m. did not get it back until the next day after the appointment. This time I made another appointment for Tuesday at 9 a.m. again and I told. Anabel about the 2 time before and she told me that it would not happen again and it was be ready that morning witch was yesterday. She called me yesterday around 8:30 a.m. and told me that I could pick up my truck. That's the kind of service that I am looking for. Thanks Anabel for your Customer service and help. I am absolutely astounded by the lack of customer service. I spent 6.5-7 hours waiting on a repair estimated at 90 mins. And when they finally brought my vehicle out they had broken the windshield.customer service manager would not speak to me they were busy. Their assistant assured me. I was told they would expitide the repairs of my windshield and some one would contact me the next day. So issue could be resolved before my family left for vacation at the end of the week. I had to make contact the next day as well as 4 days later( with 22min waiting on hold). Sadly, this is not my first horrible experience with this delearship when they finally get my/windshield replaced I will never work with them again.The only positive I have is they are willing to arrange and pay for a LYFT if you need to pick up lunch.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I went to WestGate to purchase my car. I was helped by Greg and they did wonderful helping me leave with the car I wanted. However, my experience after was terrible. If I called about an issue I would get transferred to 3 different people then finally I spoke with the head mechanic and in a nutshell he told me take my car somewhere else. Very nasty and nonchalant about my concerns with my car. I hope they get better with the customer experience after the customer buys a car.

I helped my father in law buy a new Ram pickup from Westgate. We were able to find exactly what we were looking for because Westgate had over 1000 vehicle on their lot. Keli made it super simple to complete the entire transaction online and over the phone. Stacey have everything waiting for us when we arrived to take delivery and we were in and out in no time. Definitely will return to Westgate for future needs and highly recommend them to others.

I've been going to this dealership for oil changes and vehicle service for a very long time. I've always had a really good experience and have recommended it to many people. That ended today. I had scheduled a state inspection, specifically, back in May that I had to reschedule for today at 11:00 a.m. The woman who checked me in for my appointment abruptly informed me that they don't do state inspections on a Saturday. As I was telling her that it was the service department that scheduled this to begin with, she cut me off and told me again that they don't do inspections on Saturdays. I believe her exact words were: "I don't know who told you that but we don't do it. The person who scheduled you, wrote down a multipoint inspection, which is different." I told her that I specifically asked for a state inspection when I scheduled the appointment, so this was an error on their part. She was so dismissive and rude that I will never go back there again. She gave no interest in rescheduling me, trying to fix the problem or trying to find out who made the mistake in the first place. I had to ask her to look it up for her to tell me it didn't show in the system. I am honestly mind blown by the lack of customer service from this woman today and strongly recommend that this location train their staff to know what services customers are asking for when they call in so that somebody else doesn't have to rearrange their day to be told they can't be helped.

I bought a 2019 Honda HRV from this dealership. The car buying process was about a 5/10. The salesman was nice, as he should be. It was a simple process. It s the after purchasing the car that I m upset about. The main issues I had were about the detailing and the tires. My personal mechanic said after looking at the car, he s surprised that the tires passed inspection. After contacting the dealership multiple times and driving out there for assistance, I ve received the WORST customer service. I ve been ignored by multiple salesman and up-charged for tires when getting a quote from the service department! Also the detailing/car wash department is disappointing as well. When I went there to address that problem, the guy in charge laughed in my face and told to go the sales department. I went over there and they told me the detailing department was closed for the day!! If you are looking to buy a car from here DONT. They are rude and dismissive. They just want your money and then for you to get the hell out so they can move to the next person.Services: Tires, Auto interior vacuuming
