EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE from the Auto Center! THANK YOU! I sent my wife in for an oil change, asking her to get the cheapest $25 oil change, which she requested. Parenthetically, I wanted the cheapest oil because I was out of town, but knew I'd be back in town in a month and would be putting a high grade full synthetic oil in the vehicle. But when she got home, she showed me that she'd (seemingly) been upsold to the $45 oil change without her consent. Upset, and not understanding the situation completely, I filed a BBB claim. A couple days later, the store manager from this New Bern location contacted me to discuss and explain the situation. I have since closed my claim and written a most positive review on BBB.Turns out they'd put a full synthetic oil in our vehicle because it is required by the manufacturer. The Store Manager was very kind, professional and friendly in explaining the story. I told him I'm guessing that it was all explained to my wife in person, but she probably didn't understand. I wish I remembered the name of the manager that called me, to give him credit for his exceptional customer service! He was very respectful and professional. So much so, that I'll be taking my vehicle to this New Bern service center whenever I need something done to my car, provided it's a service that they offer.Thank you so much to whomever I spoke for taking the time to respectfully explain the situation, making the phone call, and making it right! Such exceptional customer service wins customers for life!

Learning from mistakes nowArrived 10:30 just for oil change done by 4:15 almost 6 hours just for oil change when you marked the q for oil change. There should be a reason behind that right. Not complaining bout tech but it s low quality service by Walmart. First time ever worst experience in auto care.

Changing my review from 1 to 5 stars, I got excellent services from the ACC Amani Ibrahim and the guy at the front desk. They helped me to the faster way on weekends to get my tires fixed

Allen was beyond Amazing! I brought my vehicle in what should have been an easy fix but because of my error it took much longer than anticipated. Allen went above and beyond to help me and fix the issue. He even explained how to get another issue fixed that was out of his scope. He is a true Gem and I hope he is recognized for his work! Thank you again!

Normally very good service, but this time very slow. Only one tech in bay for my 9:00 appointment. At least two others in front of me. Turned out being a 2-hour wait.

Overall they got the job done. I had to go over there because no one would answer the phone and a long line of ppl were waiting. Waited, shopped, ate, then my car was done.

Terrible, they have one person running the register and checking in cars. So you end up waiting hours for a simple flat tire fix..... And they didn't give back my wheel lock!

I went to have a tire consultation because my tire light was on. I was informed what tire needed changing. I waited 3 hours to have the ture change. After I pay;I go to my car the tire light was on. I was told another tire had a nail i ask I came to have tire replaced that cause my tire light to come that was the purpose of the consultation. I had to wait until hour 4hours for 1 tire. Then the kept my tire lock. Worst place wake forest road is better.

They seem not have much mechanic to do the job. Wait time is very high. I would not recommend anyone to visit this place after dark, very fishy area and may not be safe.

I got an oil change there. The service was ok, but if you call the automotive department, they will not answer the phone. For any questions, you are better off asking them in person. I tried to call for a whole hour and got no answer.

You know what. My first visit to the auto center. They did great with servicing my car for 4 new tires. Dropped my car off at 12pm and pick it up at 3pm. Thank you Walmart I will be back!

Went in for an oil change on 9/13, as the tire center opened, and was third in line. It took nearly three hours for this; it was bad enough that the person behind me in line simply wanted their car back, whether or not the service on it was complete. There was a wait when I went but I was still very impressed with the service! Quentin was super informative and professional, especially with my questions about my car battery, even taking the time to point out and walk me through the details and technicalities. Thanks, New Bern team!

I have to say this Walmart auto center is 100 times better the one off New Hope and Wake Forest. This one might be slow because of high demand and little staff but they do a really good job. I have had 2 oil changes and had both my cars get new tires put on. They are respectful and nice. I called the store to let the manager know how I felt probably ten times (Walmart not the auto center) never did they answer. This is why i m leaving this review. I really can t tell you how much or a night and day difference it is. I honestly like taking my car her better than jiffy lube or Just tires. I have done that before and they don t turn off my warning lights. These guys did.Services: Tires, Auto tire replacement, Oil change

Worst customer service everBought tires on website from walmart made appt. To get installed waited 3 3 hours for them to tell me machine was broke and they couldnt do itOm maybe just bad day today took daughters can in for balancing tires and a leak in one ay 830am just picked up car at 4pm nothing had been done execpt tell me tire was not repairable talked to manager he told me balancing was not on ticket and that was the primary reason for bringing it in.No type of customer service at all even from managementService: Tires

Excellent service, fast, and got me back on the road in under 40 minutesCan t remember her name, but the cute girl with the braids at the counter is an absolute rockstar. Got there at 12:52p for an oil change..was informed 3 to 4 hour wait. My car did not start to receive service until 7:50p. I have always had oil changes at this location. Never had I ever encountered what I experienced today...3/30/19. I don't know what the issues were. The employees in the auto center have always been professional and attentive and today was no exception. The wait time was very frustrating. But the quality of work has always been top notch. One bad day won't prevent me from continuing to utilize the services here...it just was a one star day.

Got there around 2pm to replace a taillight bulb. Should be an easy fix, right? WRONG. Waited 3 hours. After returning to the desk, TWICE, to check status, they said they didn't have the bulb in stock. Then the manager told ME to buy the bulb (as if I'm the mechanic who knows what to look for) and bring it back TOMORROW. Absolutely crazy if he thinks I'm coming back.Service: Electrical repair

After two unanswered calls in an attempts to check availability/setup an appointment, I decided to go down there. They politely checked me in then told me it would be a 2 hours wait. 4.5 hours later I was able to leave. The purpose of my visit was to have the two new tires I ordered be put on the car.It was particularly frustrating to see how slow the team was in doing everything. It was like watching a movie in slow motion.The customer service was hit or miss depending on the associate. I had no issue with the quality of the service my car received.

I order my tires online and once delivered I went in for installation. On Monday, they only had one tech on staff (and a female helper or trainee, I guess); but still, wait time was only about 1.5 hours. However, my tires wobbled/vibrated when going over speeds of 55+, so I went back in on Wednesday for them to correct the issue. After about 3 hours in, I informed them that I had another appointment and had to leave. They told me that the female staff member (trainee) had rebalanced only one out of the 4 new tires because she was waiting on the supervisor to come check over her work. Poor supervision, I must say; if you have to wait that long for the supervisor to come help you. At any rate, I had to go. Rebalancing that one tire seemed to help some because now the tires wobble/vibrate at speeds of 65+. I plan to go to a different location that s not so understaffed to get the last 3 tires rebalanced. This is my first time using Walmart Auto tire service, but I noticed that this location has a lot of customers. You would think they would have it staffed approximately. The counter staff members were very polite about the situation; nevertheless, I don t think I ll be returning to this location for any auto services again.

I don't know if it's Walmart auto center in general, or just this Walmart's auto center, but it's trash. There's an issue everytime I go here.I'm used to a sticker being put on the windshield of the car when getting an oil changed, and that sticker shows when the get the next oil change. This is important, because I get the oil changed on my mom's car, and I want her to see that sticker. I got her oil changed here, and nobody left a sticker, because they were too busy trying to rush me out.The next time I went here, I specifically asked the lady at the register to make sure they leave a sticker on the windshield. She said okay, and I didn't get the impression she cared. Needless to say, there was no sticker.The next time I went here I was told I couldn't get my oil changed like I had the last two times unless I brought my own oil filter and oil. This had never been told to me before, and it was quite an inconvenience. I had to drive around looking for an auto parts store, then get back to this Walmart before it closed.I barely made it back on time, only to be told that I had to provide my own oil. At this point I thought I was being pranked. Since when does the customer have to provide the oil in an oil change scenario at an auto center?!I decided to give this place one more shot, thinking maybe, just maybe, everything would be alright. I came prepared with my own filter and oil, and I told the guy at the register to have the air filter changed as well as the oil.It took two hours for the oil to be changed due to a new synthetic oil audit process or something, so said the guy changing the oil. I had to wait for a manager to give some type of approval. After two hours if waiting, I heard the manager ask the guys changing the oil if they were trying to rush her. I thought to myself, "I'm trying to rush you, because I've been here two hours!"Just for kicks, I asked one of the guys if he changed my air filter. Predictably, he said no, and looked puzzled, as if he had never heard of such a thing. I told him it was on the order, but forget it, because I had to leave.I don't care if an oil change at Walmart is cheaper than an oil change anywhere else. It's cheaper for a reason, because the service at this Walmart auto center is absolutely terrible.From now on I'm going elsewhere for my car's needs, and I advise you to do the same.

The front desk guy was very nice and polite. How ever, I can't say the same thing about the old black guy mechanic with the dreads !! He got mad and ill just because the drivers door would not open. He started using bad language and everything. Few minutes later, I received a phone call from the guy in the front desk saying the mechanic had an issue and needed to talk to me. So I went and talk to the mechanic and he said that he didn't had no issue and didn't need to talk to me( with a nasty attitude) ! Definitely will not be coming back !!!

This is about the Auto Care Center at Raleigh Walmart Supercenter #5118.They were so great!! I needed a tire change and I'm pretty positive I talked to every person in there and they were all so nice and as attentive as possible, even though they were really busy. I didn't get everyone's name but I did interact with George a lot and he was just great, dealt with my million questions, was constantly running around, and I can absolutely see why he's a manager! Everyone had a great attitude handling the hustle and bustle. One if the guys did ask me how my day was and I sorta unloaded on him so in case he reads this - my bad haha it was just an entire process dealing with my tire change and you asked at just the right time that I had to get it off my chest, and idt I was rude my tone, but just in case I was and didn't realize, it was in no way directed towards you! I had to have my tires by the weekend and everything seemed to be going wrong, but they did my tires in a timely fashion considering I dropped in and it was SO much cheaper than I had been quoted at other places! I have gone through Walmart before with tires but I honestly always forget they're an option, but after how every one was at this one, I'll definitely be remembering this one!� Huge thank you to everyone there!!One thing to note: definitely call in to make sure the tires are in. My situation was a little unique because it had to be done quickly but also my dad was helping me until I get paid and he's in another state, so we had to order online which said they were in stock, but then I called and they weren't and were gonna take a couple of days but I didn't get an email letting me know of that. George found the same size at a similar price, so it worked out but just something to know if you're in a hurry. We cancelled the order for the ones they didn't have and ordered the other set they did have and while I was anxiously refreshing the app for my order status, it went from they'll be ready by June 2 by 8 pm to June 4 by 6 pm and I couldn't wait because I needed to travel for the weekend for a wedding. So I called again and George told me to go ahead and come in, they had them, and they would take care of it and they did! So in the end it all worked out, but if you're in a hurry and in a particular jam - call to check they're actually in stock. Again, the staff were all excellent and I don't fault them for the chaos at all - it's likely a computer issue or something like that which happens (I usually expect inventory between online and in store to be messed up in these situations because the system doesn't always keep up).
