Pulled up to the building in front of bay 1, got out of my car and asked one of the workers how they were doing. He walked by me like I wasn't even standing there. As he looked at my car (low to the ground) the manager of the shop told me they're not responsible for any damage.Didn't greet me. Got an instant attitude just like the first worker gave me. I said I've been coming here since the shop was new and it should be fine. All he did was look at me.I wanted to see the technician pull my car to the bay since I was told they were not responsible for damage. Then was told as in I can t have you stand there . Needed to stand between the red bollards. So I did.A second customer pulled in next to my car. I was then told (not asked) to move I couldn't stand there. Felt like the military day one in boot camp. I said you just told me to stand here. Well now I'm blocking a fire exit. A walk through door. Meanwhile all eight big garage doors were wide open. It was a sunny afternoon.I mentioned to the worker I want to watch my car being driven into the bay since I was told they're not responsible for damage. As I walked to the other side of the bay I commented you must be new here . He then told his mechanic to get out of my car they're not inspecting it.Um. OKAY. And he left the car running.I walked over, turned it off and started chatting with customer service. They agreed to call me.Explained I don't understand the attitude from both of these individuals. She asked me what shop I was at. I asked the first individual what is the store number I was at. He told me I would have to wait he was busy, with the same attitude I received up to this point. So I walk through the bays to the front of the building to get the address.(Please review the cameras to verify my story)While I'm on the phone with customer service he shut seven of the eight overhead doors.I'm now in the lobby speaking with customer service. Was informed by them my car would be inspected and they just got off the phone with the manager. They pulled the car into the bay. 10 minutes later another technician told me the car did not pass. The windshield wipers bounce across the windshield. And the rear tires will not pass. Well, of course not. They did not like me calling customer service and they were in charge. And have an attitude of which I had no reason why.I explained the windshield wiper blades were new 6 months ago and the tires had at least 2/32 of tread left and not down to the wear bars.BTW: The way customer service rep told me I needed to do exactly what the technicians told me to do. Like I was rebelling. Again, huh?The second technician wanted to show me what he was talking about and told me to follow behind him for safety reasons. I told this gentleman I've been walking around automotive shops longer than he's been living. That struck a nerve. At this point, whatever I said was met with attitude. He went to my car and tried to explain to me tires would not I pass. I said they would pass. Then he told me he wasn't going to argue with me and they're not going pass my car.He pulled it out of the bay and parked it front of the building.I then started another chat with customer service, she asked me for the invoice number where my car failed inspection. I went to ask the technicians for that copy and none existed. Um no record of why it did not pass? They didn't want a record for some reason. I informed customer service I don't have one they she said the shop can refuse service it's their decision.Refuse service to a customer for no reason? It s okay to display bad attitudes to customers?Drove to another inspection station and 45 minutes later my car passed inspection. The car was in the same condition that the Valvoline shop said they would not pass it.I took pictures of my car at the business for proof I was there since I had no receipt. The area manager did call me back within a promised 2-day time period. No satisfaction on my part. This is the justified post with the well deserved one star rating.

This place I would avoidI had my oil changed before New Years and they installed the oil filter wrong and damaged my car. I ve spoken with the home home office 3 times now and they seem helpful but they say they need to talk with the local manager. Then I don t hear anything again from them. I need to file a small claims suit at this point which really sucks because any good business would just recognize they messed up and pay for their mistake. I feel like here all they are trying to do is clean up the bad reviews and wait to see if I will keep on them for what they owe me. Use them at your own risk.Update. I spoke to Scott Hefke the regional manager. He denied my claim even though the mechanic clearly stated that they forgot to install the O ring and that cracked the oil filter housing cap. His excuse was my vehicle has high mileage. So use them at your own risk. If they screw up it s obviously the customers fault.Update. They still haven t taken responsibility for their mistake and leave me no recourse but to sue them. Sad way to do business. Here is a direct cut and paste from the mechanic in Atlanta that fixed my carTechnician removed oil filter housing cap and discovered that oil filter housing cap o ring was not installed on cap causing oil leak. Technician installed new cap with filter and o ring and cleaned off oil residue around front of engine. Technician confirmed correction of oil leak.I had to take them to court. I won my case against them. Is so silly that they made an obvious mistake and instead of correcting it they forced me to go to court to get relief. You better think twice coming here.

I stopped in because I needed an oil change and wanted to check out the stay in your car service. The crew is very professional and they operate very efficiently. It took way less time than I expected and there was no high-pressure sales to have my blinker fluid changed. The price was higher than I expected but it's been a while and it's probably comparable to other places for full synthetic. I'll definitely be back.

The place is ok and the staff is nice enough. However be careful with anything they recommend to replace during your inspection. My inspection failed due to a brake light not working but when I declined to let them do it and told them I would fix it myself then all the sudden it was working again.

Wonderful experience! I pulled in here in a panic, worried that my tire was completely flat-- I was assisted by Greg, who checked my tire pressure right away, re-inflated my tire, and was so gracious! I didn't need a full oil change, and he didn't charge me for this service...I was so grateful for his help in a pinch, and would definitely come here again!

I had the worst experience with your manager Charles. He seemed very confused couldn t answer any of my questions regarding oil change and filler change. He kept saying Good Morning even though it was 4pm in the evening. I have hesitations about bringing my car back to that location and the level of competency of that staff member.

I always enjoy coming to Valvoline Instant Oil change. First, I get to stay in my car the entire time, and where this may not be for everyone having 3 kids in tow with me, it is greatly helpful.Second, I am usually "out" within 20 minutes for an oil change.Lastly, and most importantly, the staff has always been kind and helpful during each of my visits.Make sure to always look up coupons online or get a discount code.

What a bunch of dopes, I simply wanted an inspection and an oil change. I wanted to drop it off and pick it up a few hours later as I work across the street. You would have thought I was crazy for wanting to return to pick it up and not sit there and wait. Ended up leaving with them telling me to just return another time so I can wait again, while it could have been done already.

I usually get paranoid going to get my car serviced but Brandon at this location was very helpful and easy to assist me! He made sure that I got everything fixed that I needed and was very personable. 10/10 customer service and will definitely be back at this location!

I brought my truck in today for a state inspection and an oil change. When the technician, Mil S., asked me to get out of the vehicle; I was confused why and instead of explaining to me that is the policy during a State Inspection, he snapped at me and told said something along the lines of "get back in then". After guiding me over the bay, he looked at a co-worker and proclaimed that I "refused" to get out of the truck. He then said to the same person he was "tired of entitled people".I have never been called entitled in my entire life. I tried to tell him that I wasn't refusing, I just didn't know getting out was the policy. If he would have just said, all would have been fine.If it wasn't for my company having a deal to take our trucks here, I would have left due to the awful treatment I unreservedly got, especially so early in the morning.

The guys were nice but I took my VW rabbit here for an oil change and that was a mistake. My mom took her VW Atlas to a Valvoline once and they didn t screw her valance back on & she told me to make sure they bolt mine back on, and I didn t check for that before I left (my mistake, I should ve asked them to make sure they bolted it back on) because when I drove away, my valance was dragging underneath my car. I was on the way to work & haven t had a chance to go back to have them fix it (my dad fixed it anyway) but just wanted to advise people with Volkswagens to maybe get an oil change somewhere else or to at least make sure they bolt your front valance back on if you go to valvoline. I do admit, I am a young female with NO car experience so I had no idea what they were even doing and just expected it to be a routine oil change. Also it cost $140, i have a 2007 VW rabbit but that was pretty expensive. They gave me the wrong persons receipt when I left too so I couldn t even verify that I was charged correctly, and nobody picked up the phone when I called back later that day. These guys are probably great at what they do, and like I said they were super kind, I just had a pretty bad experience & wanted others to be cautious.

If I could put less than one star I would. Valvoline has gone down in service over the last 5-6 years. Seems like they higher anybody that will work and doesn't train or teach service technicians anything anymore. Come here at your own risk and just know that you should document everything. Video, photos, dash cam, whatever you need to do because when they mess up words don't fix $$$ only $$ does.

These guys are disorganized and confused on what s happening. It was confusion before I even pulled into a bay just for an oil change. Too many people trying to do too many things and there s just no flow. Prepare to freeze in your car while they try to figure out what is what. It was far from quick and not just for me. Lady next to me was done but was just waiting to be directed out. The only thing that was done under my hood was oil added and hopefully the right kind cuz who knows now. The invoice says they added washer fluid..nope! They didn t check anything like the invoice also says. They didn t check my tires either which were all low but invoice says they did. My car is newer and monitors the tire pressure. I got an alert shortly after leaving for that issue. I don t have any confidence in them doing my oil change right with the right part at this point especially for the price they charge! Will not return to this location.

Very good experience first time I went. I think it cost me a little over 30 bucs cause I m a person that brings my own oil. Second time I went it jumped to 40 bucs. I went on and paid that. Two days ago I was quoted 66 dollars for an oil change with my own oil. Nah not this time. Lost my business that day. Not trying to diminish the job but it s an oil change. Either your staff don t know the price or they just trying to get over smh.

I have been going to Valvoline for years this was my first time at this location and they messed up my vehicle by putting the wrong oil filter on my car causing the oil pressure light to come on when I took it back to Valvoline the technicians didn t know what they had done wrong they had me get out of my vehicle and then just redid the oil change and the technician told me the first time they must have used bad oil (why would you be putting bad oil in someone s car in the first place?!?) the issue with the oil pressure light being on persisted so I took it to a Chevrolet dealer who did a diagnostic and the Chevrolet mechanic confirmed the wrong oil filter was put on my car. I contacted customer service for a refund and reimbursement which is a more than reasonable ask because they could ve seriously damaged my vehicle and the manager said Valvoline is denying responsibility. The overall experience was bad too the technicians were singing and joking which could ve been why they weren t paying attention to what oil filter they were putting on my car. Additionally, the technicians gave me the wrong paper instead of a receipt after the service was done, thankfully I am signed up for email receipts since I ve been going to Valvoline for so long but it goes to show how disorganized and all over the place they were. Now I have to take my claim to small claims court and the Better Business Bureau so Valvoline can be held accountable for their wrong doing. I have never had oil pressure issues or any issues with my vehicle after receiving an oil change until this incident. If you make a mistake against a customer and your technician acknowledges a mistake was made the best and most moral business practice is to correct the mistake which was not done in this case. I would not reccomend Valvoline their technicians need better training and better management.

Technicians are seemingly not properly torquing drain plugs and oil filters, leading to leaks. I also believe they're not replacing drain bolts and washers per factory OEM recommendations. After each of the last two oil changes for our family vehicle over the last year, we have had oil leaks. As a result, I have oil spots all over my driveway. In each case I've had to retighten the filter / bolts. Given the price they charge, you're better off going to the dealership or a trustworthy mechanic.

Had a full synthetic oil change done. Was hesitant to go to a "quick lube" place. These guys communicate extremely well. They used tourqe wrenches to verify stuff was to spec. Price was a lil higher but it was worth it for the speed and accuracy to toyota specs. Would go again.

My wife just went there and they tried to solicit $100 from her to pass inspection and made her feel very uncomfortable. This is especially troubling because I ve always gotten great customer service here but I guess it doesn t extend to women.

I was there for my vehicle s oil change today. I saw one guy (in the picture) and a lady was working there. The guy in the picture who is really knowledgeable and gentle. The lady is really new I was feeling.Later one beard guy join with them who was really rude to me that not acceptable. He was none knowledgeable about auto (i felt). After finish my oil change, They wanted cash from me. they were saying their card machine is not working . I said, I do not have cash. they took my cards detail s Manually. After 5 mints they said, its working. The management of Vavolinae take care of your business.I feel they took my card details and after 2 days they tried to buy online was $190.00 of charges. So please be careful about this place.

New to NC not knowing you didn't need state inspection for new residents. This location inspected my car without telling me the laws for new residents and ripped me off. Update: customer service contacted me and stated somebody from corporate is suppose to call 1-3 days failed.

Super speedy for state inspection (fixed price). For oil change, it s like Bed,Bath was. Price it high, offer coupons & it s up to the customer to get a competitive price. Definitely speedy and friendly and worth the premium in a pinch. As a pro. last minute person, I ll likely be a repeat visitor - with my coupon/groupon!!
