These guys are true life savers. Came in on Sunday and helped me within seconds. Very thankful for Jerome and his team. Very easy and the facility is super clean!! Food and drinks are available with the luxury of watching NFL Game Day. Laptop charging stations and desk areas as well as USB chargers. If I am ever in need to fix anything I know where to go!! Here!!

TL;DR - I would rather be stuck on the side of the road than ever come to this place againI came here to get my battery replaced. I made an appointment for 2, I came in at 1. My car was taken back before 2, and it wasn't until 2:55 that someone finally talked to me about my car and said that I had a bad fuse that needed to be replaced. I agreed to get it replaced because I was told that my car wouldn't start without it, so obviously it needed to be done. They did not tell me that it would take an hour alone for the fuse to come in, and another hour for it to be installed, until there was only an hour left and there was no point in going home and back. The communication is terrible - had I known I would be here for 4 hours, I would have arranged to be picked up and brought back. However, that is not even the worst part. I got in my car and drove back, and my car radio would not work. I called less than ten minutes after I left, and they told me they must have messed something up when they put in the new fuse. I was told I could get in at 9am the following day. I arrived here at 8:55am and gave my keys. My car did not go back until 10 - why give me an appointment at 9 when you can't service my car for another hour? The whole process has been extremely complicated and frustrating, and I will never return to this place. There are so many mechanics around - go literally anywhere else and you will have a significantly better experience. Also, while I was here an employee told someone that he would not charge her for looking at her tire (as they found no issues to fix) but asked her to leave a five-star review. So take these good reviews with a grain of salt, because they may have received free services, like the customer I witnessed. I, however, paid $300 for a battery change and spent a total of 6 needless hours here across two days, and part of the interior piece holding my radio was broken. They offered to try to find a fix, but honestly, I could not wait any longer with this company to fix yet another thing that they broke in my car. I never leave bad reviews, but my experience here was completely unacceptable and I do not want anyone else to waste their money with this location.

They were so professional, courteous and kind. We were in a bind with a very bad blow out on the highway due to a rock. The tow truck brought us here and we really feel blessed by the tow truck driver as well as the employees at Pep boys. They changed my tire to the spare and could not have been more efficient. Just a big thank you all round. I was pretty shaken, so I feel very appreciative.

Customer service can improve; the gentlemen were more focused on their interpersonal discussion, versus greeting the customer. I had an oil change appointment at 3 pm, and I arrive 15 minutes early. The gentleman said his oil change person went to lunch and will not be back until 3. I booked the appointment online so this may be something that the business should not offer if no one is going to be ready to change the oil. The oil change specialist didn't arrive at 3, but arrived at 3:15, still eating/drinking his lunch. I decided to leave because I didn't have the time to continue to wait, even though the appointment was booked. I anticipated a little wait, but not as long as it took, nor the lack of customer service.

Made a 10:00am appt online. When I arrived, didn't see any cars in the bays. I was worried they were closed, but they open at 7:30am on Fridays. The lady at the counter was nice and friendly. They had water, coffee, and granola bars for a snack. Ample seating in the waiting room and a TV. They were able to patch the tire for a reasonable rate, which I was incredibly happy about! Unfortunately, it took about 1.5 hrs to do so. I am not certain how long it takes, but my expectations were shorter. All the staff were nice and friendly. Only complaint would be the service time.

BEWARE OVERFILLING OIL - I m very grateful for the guy at the front. However, I would pay close attention if you came here. Came in for an oil change and I said my car only needed 4 quarts. (Not to mention, they should be able to look this information up if they re a place that changes oil!) I asked them to leave the remaining quart on the floor in my car when they were done. They brought my car around and I paid. I went to go get my car and the bottle wasn t there so I went back to check. He said well I m glad you checked because the guy in the back didn t read the ticket and put a full five quarts of oil in my car. Had to wait extra time for them to drain the extra quart which was unpleasant. Guy at the front gave me a different quart of the same kind of oil to replace it and he also alerted me about another issue on my car which I appreciate. But I worry what would ve happened if I didn t know how much oil my car takes like many other car users. MY ENGINE COULD'VE SEIZED!!! So this is messed up if you re paying for a service to be done correctly.

Great service. Something internally going on within my car. I just got an oil changed and they filled it up and gave me advice. I really appreciate them getting me in fast too! Front desk guy whom i didn t get his name was extremely knowledgeable and I appreciate the services they do for me here!

I came to Pep Boys first thing this morning after getting a flat tire. As they were just opening when I arrived, Travon was getting ready for the day but that didn t stop him from greeting me pleasantly and immediately asking how he could help. He got me scheduled for service and after the technician performed an inspection, Travon walked me through the cost of a new tire and informed me of a few other services I may want to consider having done. He answered my questions thoroughly and was very helpful throughout the process. The tire replacement was done in a timely manner. I have never been to this shop before, but will definitely come back for future services because of the experience today.

Good Evening,What Amazing service that I received at Pep Boy's, Western Blvd location.I went in for Air in my tire on Sunday originally and spoke with Jerome, he kindly put air in my tire and gave me a price quote for tire repair.Today 01/04/24, I am back due the tire having another issue. Mr. Jerome was able get my car in a bay immediately and fixed the problem.I also inquired about my driver bulb being replaced, and he was able to take care of that as well.I am so grateful for the service at Pep Boy's and the staff.The service was very professional and I appreciate Mr. Jerome being so kind to me.I am normally leary of any Auto repair facilities outside of the Nissan dealership, but Mr. Jerome has definitely earned my trust and service.I will return!

I had a nail in my tire and brought it to the Western Blvd location. Travon helped me from the moment I arrived until the fire was patched and all issues resolvedZ. His customer service was outstanding and I have now made a friend. I highly recommend this location!

Car broke down on a Sunday in Raleigh. Google review found Pep Boys close-by and the only shop open on a Sunday. Great service from manager Jerome. Was able to juggle the shops already busy schedule to take a look at my vehicle. Kept me apprised of how things were going. Could not find source of problem that day, but Jerome called me first thing the next morning as promised with diagnosis and repair estimate. Was able to get the job done in a few hours and ready for pickup.

I recently had my tires serviced at Pep Boys, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they took the time to explain all the options to me. Do not get your inspection done here! They have no interest in passing you and only care to sell you repairs. They tried to sell me a repair on my shocks for almost 10 thousand dollars to replace a part that I found online for $70. Replaced it myself in about 4 hours and took my car to an actually respectable business to be inspected again. They could just as easily have failed my inspection for my bad parking brake, but I guess they figured it would be harder to sucker me into forking over triple the value of my car for some shoe brakes. Businesses like this are the reason mechanics are not trusted. Save your $30 and go somewhere else for inspection. Even if you're not getting an inspection, go somewhere else because I guarantee they will try to rip you off. Absolutely shameless way to run a business.

My son took his car here to get a tire plugged. Called ahead and they assured us it would be no problem to repair the tire. When he got there they told him they couldn t plug the tire and convinced him he had to buy a new one. I really don t appreciate the deception. Would not trust this location to do any work on my vehicle.

I went to get my oil changed on a Friday and when I went to work on Monday, I kept smelling gas while I was driving. I thought maybe some other car was burning oil and that s what I was smelling but then I smelled it again Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. I called my husband to see if he could look it up while I was driving home from work and let me know if I needed to take it back because I was smelling it through my air vents. I took it back to the shop and they redid my entire oil change. Wednesday morning when I drove to work I heard a scraping noise as if something was dragging on my car. The piece that protects under my car was being dragged while I was driving. Only reason they got more than 1 star is because they were willing to fix whatever mistake they made in the first place. Now I either have to take my car back a third time for them to fix the underside of my car or see if I can pop it back in place myself.

Customer service is non existent here. Took twice as long to do the job than what they told me. Then, not even a SORRY for having to wait THREE hours for a front brake job! Good thing there are a lot of other places to go in Raleigh!

I have had my car serviced at this location twice & both times I have had a great experience. At both visits, Naomi was working in the lobby & has been so friendly & helpful in answering my questions. The staff that have worked on my vehicle have also been very nice. They have gotten me in & out so quick at each visit that I will definitely continue to bring my car here to be serviced. I appreciate their kindness & efficiency.

Very disappointed with wait time. I had appointments for two tire change at 11 am and my car did not go inside the workshop before 12:20, whats the point of taking appointments then? Initially when i asked how long it will take front desk person told me not long. Not long turned out to be more to 2 hour for a 20 minute tire change. Such as waste of time, i will not visit such place where they don t respect people time. All i needed an honest wait time estimate before so that i could ve left instead of waiting inside the store. When i asked about the appointment they confirmed that making appointments means confirming my work slot but actual work may depend on other work they have. So it might be 2 hour 3 hour whatever. I guess this is my last service at this location

Pep Boys on Western has been the go-to place for me for my Subaru for two years now, and each time they tend to my vehicle efficiently and with high quality customer service. Today they patched my tire, 45 minutes door to door. Thanks Pep Boys!

We were walk ins with a leaking tire and were seen right away. This was not how we planned on spending our day visiting Raleigh but we left knowing our son s car was safe for him to drive. Thank you Jerome for taking care of us!

My son took his car in to have a tire plugged and was told that his front brakes were really bad and needed to be replaced immediately. Since we never use a chain for things like this, I told him to just have the tire plugged and we would take it to our auto shop to check the brakes. Surprise, surprise, the brakes are fine and do not need to be replaced or another 15,000 - 20,000 miles. Bottom line...only use Pep Boys for emergencies. Stop taking advantage of students!

Clean facilities inside, pleasant and helpful staff, didn t try to sell me on anything I didn t need or want (a big thing for me). Shout out to Caleb who helped me out, he was super friendly and explained things to me in a clear and concise manor. 10/10 visit, I feel good knowing there s a team nearby who will treat me with respect and can provide the auto services I need. On July 26, 2023 I called this location to have a tire plugged, The lady who answered was very friendly and told me to come on in and they would take care of it. The young man with the brown twist checked me in and he was very professional and nice and explained everything to me. They even sent me a link to watch them make the repairs in real time. KL, I think might have been the manager, but he was extremely nice and professional. I would highly recommend this location for car services. Great Job!
