They where fantastic! Great customer service and did a great job fixing my cat. I had my brakes, oil change and a new tire put on for a very reasonable rate! I would recommend them to friends and family!

I had an emergency situation with my truck where my serpentine belt pully almost went out from trip up for company meetings. These guys performed to the max. Quick service and fair prices. Would highly recommend

After having some bad car repair experiences a friend sent me to Peoples Tire and Auto on Hodges. That was over a year ago and i have stayed with them. They are HONEST and have been very helpful to me. If they don't do that service they refer you to someone who does. If you have options they go over them with you. No one pushes you on anything. And all the work they have done for me has been great!! I highly recommend them.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Auto tire replacement, Wiper blade installation, Oil change

I have been a customer for 40 yrs! The staff is very knowledgeable on any and all repairs, they will work you in as fast as possible if you do not have an appointment, complete the repairs in a timely fashion, inform you if they see other problems that you may not be aware of, very friendly, courteous and respectful of you and your vehicle, and the prices of service are excellent! Stop by for all your automotive needs!!

Peoples Tire and Auto is a trusted family business that has serviced my family s cars for literally generations! As a Raleigh native, I ve known of lots of other auto shops and this has always remained our #1 choice. We can always count on excellent customer service. They are knowledgeable, quick to offer an estimate/solution, and their prices are fair and reasonable. The most important quality I think this auto shop brings is HONESTY, which is hard to come by these days. I once had a quote from the Jeep dealership and Ryan helped me go through each line item, explaining to me what was outlandish vs fair in the quote. He was able to handle a tough engine job for 1/2 the price they were charging me at the dealership. They always stand by their work and are the most honest and ethical folks I ve had the pleasure doing business with. I have been going to People s Auto for almost two years now. What a blessing to find a trustworthy mechanic, especially in this day. Every single time I walk in the shop I am personally greeted and welcomed. You can tell that there is a reason the shop has been open for over 50 years. From the mangers up front to all the guys in the back and especially the owner, it s just a great place to get anything done for your vehicle. I will recommend this place over and over!

I have considered Peoples Automotive my auto mechanics company for about five years now. They were courteous and helpful, especially David. I have taken all my vehicles here for this time period. However when I saw a small drip on my driveway I checked with a local mechanic shop Doc's Automotive in Wake Forest where I live. I was given an estimate of $645 for a radiator replacement. In that I am a female, a senior and single, I decided to get a second opinion from Peoples Automotive. Their quote was 1010 for the same exact radiator replacement! When I refused to get repair done, they proceeded to do a full oil change, including filter, yet the they informed me that the oil leak hose was the reason I needed a radiator! So why change the oil if it is leaking!! I was charged $160, for DIAGNOSTIC , which I was not informed of when I dropped vehicle off initially! I feel I was accessed the fee because I did not accept their overpriced repair estimate. When I questioned and provided the written estimate from the other garage, the response was "David did this estimate and he's not here today". This is totally not acceptable...an estimate should be consistent, and not dependent upon which service attendant provides it!! I informed this attendant that I would not return. He shrugged, which shows a TOTAL DISREGARD FOR CUSTOMER CONCERN AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. I do not recommend People's Automotive!!!Service: Oil change

After my last mechanic retired. I have given a few auto repair shops the opportunity to earn my business. Peoples came highly recommended to me by a friend and after a couple times using them I am ready to say that they have earned my business from now on! Their customer service is top notch and they fully back their services. It is a 3 generation family owned and operated business. And if I need to spend my hard earned money on my vehicle, I want it to go in their pockets. They ve earned it!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake replacement

In the past I ve been to many other mechanicShops but I think I ve found my go to shop theses guys are very professional and most of all honest. the pricing is very reasonable and there work is unmatched I recommend them to anyone looking for a good mechanic.Thank you peoples tire and auto!!!!!!

We can t say enough amazing things about the service and staff at People s Tire & Auto. They have worked on our Jeep and Volvo. They fit us in as soon they are able and they pass on discounts on parts and are professional, courteous and downright awesome guys! We highly recommend them. I have been going to People's for a few years now and would never take my car anywhere else!The work is always amazing, fast, and complete the first time; I have never had to go back for the same issue twice because it wasn't fixed right the first time because it is ALWAYS right the first time.Ryan, David, and the rest of the team are even better than the work and are always upfront and honest about the issues (and I have given them a few challenges!) and the costs.I recommend People's to everyone I know looking for a great place and to anyone reading this who wants top-shelf quality work without paying ridiculous prices from a third generation family-owned company.

I've brought my Honda Civic here twice for repairs, and both times have been great. They were ready for me when I arrived, the work got done on time or even ahead of schedule, and the bills were very reasonable. Car repair can be really stressful at other places, but here everyone was professional and courteous, and there was no run-around.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Peoples Auto is fantastic. Ryan and his team will take care of you. The tires I requested arrived at the store in about 48hrs, and they installed them on time. They also tightened some loose suspension pieces and set my alignment properly. Ryan has taken over from Terry and continues to do the best work in Raleigh. Ryan and his staff are very honest and excellent communicators. They will call with a diagnosis and estimated cost prior to performing work. Work is done quickly. Great customer service. I've been going here for seven years now and will continue to do so. I recommend them unprompted to anyone who asks for a good mechanic in Raleigh.

People's is the best auto repair shop I have ever used which is why my family and I keep going to them for all of our auto-related needs. We recently were driving and saw the PSI in one of our tires had dropped down to 21 so we knew something was wrong. People's was able to get us in quickly and located a slice in the tire.Ryan, the owner, gave us multiple options on tire choices and had us back out on the road in no time!!Their honesty, great customer service and commitment to quality work is unmatched. I have been a customer for 9 years. A good mechanic is hard to find, these guys are great. Always honest and straightforward about your repairs. A reasonably priced mechanic you can trust. Terry and Ryan are great folks to do business with.

I discovered People by a reference and it was the best reference I have received. They are extremely fair and amazingly honest. As I sat waiting for my car to be finished I heard them tell customers what the problem probably was and WHT they should try first before bringing it back in. To me that was amazing. I will always call Peoples first from now own for any auto repair options.

I took my car to Ryan's team to fix a break issue that my dealership was going to charge a hefty price for. Ryan is trustworthy and super helpful. His team took care of my breaks quickly (1 day) and at a fair price. I will definitely trust them again with my car!

Great Automotive repair! Being from out of town, not knowing any repair places, I was refereed to peoples from someone. They are great, very friendly and knowledgeable. Honesty is a big deal with a car repair place, and this place has it. Very quick repairs! I appreciate that they fixed the problem I requested without trying to sell me other repairs (which I know my car needs), though still willing to offer help if I requested it. The hourly labor rate is a little high in my opinion, but worth it for the service you get and they don't seem to nickle and dime you. Pretty straight forward, final cost was same as estimate. So far so good on my repair.

I met these folks when I worked for Centura/RBC Bank .they were our customers .one of my coworkers recommended them when I had an issue with my car. This was in 1998 and I ve never used anyone else! They are a 3 generation company, they are Christians and very honest and professional. They are amazing! I bring my cars here for everything! If they can't fix it, they refer you to someone who can. I saved over $2,500 by going to them and the places they referred me to. Support local business!
