Our brand new 2022 Gulf Stream camper fell apart on the side of interstate 40 at 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon. The lug stems had sheared off and we watched in horror as our wheel rolled down the highway ahead of us. 2 hours from home, our "roadside assistance" told us they were finding someone to help. They left us stranded. Thankfully, the local police helped us get off of the interstate around 11:30pm and to a safe location to stay overnight. Around 8:30 the next morning, I finally gave up on our "roadside assistance" and called Mechanics To Go. Sam responded super quickly and eased my terribly rattled nerves. Within 2 hours, he had replaced the entire wheel hub, had the jack down and we were on our way. Super responsive. Super quick. Very transparent on the first call of estimated ETA and parts that may be needed. Very friendly. Very efficient. Will totally save his card and recommend his service to anyone I know. Thank you Sam for saving us!!! You rock!

Sam was my technician and he came to my house immediately. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and equipped with everything I needed. He was able to pinpoint the issue (s) with my car better than my own mechanic that my family has used for years. He has great connections with dealerships and goes the extra mile to connect his customers with them and he stays in constant communication with you until you reach a resolution. Truck had a fuel leak. Sam was able to diagnose the problem instantly and order the parts needed on the same day. In less than two days he was able to fix the problem and do a PM maintenance all for a good price. He s very knowledgeable, experienced, and kind. Would definitely be coming back and would recommend you take your trucks to him.

Sam came highly recommended. When I reached out to find someone to do an oil change on my Foodtruck. He showed up on time and I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and fast service. During the oil change he alerted me to several other problems that I had with my truck some which needed attention right away which was a Water Pump and Oil Cooler. He quoted me a fair price and scheduled for the next day. Once again he was on time and surprisingly did it in no time. Got me right back on the road. I ve ran into some mobile mechanics that have stood me up or given an outrageous price. I truly appreciate Sam and definitely will have him come out for all of my repair needs. Sam is a boss. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable and personable but he's gone the extra mile for me. I own a food truck and was the victim of another mechanic damaging my transmission. Sam was quick to diagnose the problem, fix it within a week so that I could get back to serving even though the weather wasn't the best and has provided the best service I've ever gotten from a mechanic, going as far as to give me videos, photos and updates explaining all of the issues and telling me what he's going to do.If Sam is capable of doing it, I will go with him from now on. I'm thrilled to finally have a mechanic that I can trust and actually cares about my experience rather than just getting a job over with or making a buck.Service: Transmission

I m auto Haulers from Philadelphia I was in Raleigh North Carolina when I need it to change the brakes on my truck . I called everywhere to see if someone can change the brakes for me but everybody was telling me that they are busy and it s going to take a few days I finally came across mechanics to go I called Sam he answered and came over less than half an hour. I already bought the parts so all he had to do was just replace them. He was very fair professional and courteous one of the best services I ve ever had on the road I will definitely recommend him to anyone that is driving through and not knowing anybody in the area he is the guy to call. Sadly we broke down with our brand new Class A Motorhome on a Friday at 4:45pm. on our way home to Florida. Although we were able to make it Kenly Ford in NC, they were not able to diagnose the problem for us. They did however let us stay in their parking lot overnight. After numerous calls to several dealerships and RV repair shops, we were told that no one could help us for a minimum of 2 weeks. My husband came upon Sam at Mechanics to go through a Google search. Sam was willing to come that night and make the diagnosis, but rather than charge us for 2 trips, he told us he would be there the following morning first thing.Much to our surprise, Sam showed up Saturday at 7:30 am as promised. Not only was he able to diagnose the problem, where Ford was unable to, Sam spent time contacting NUMEROUS vendors tracking down the necessary parts we needed. Keep in mind this was a Holiday weekend. We had several spark plugs go bad on our Jayco Precept RV that only had 13k miles on it. Sam drove to retrieve to necessary parts, returned in record time and made the repairs. He got us up and running all within 2 1/2 hours. His expertise and professionalism was much appreciated. He saved us from having to leave our RV with a dealership, rent a car to drive home only to come back in a few weeks to pick it up. We highly recomend this company, Sam in particular. We are full time RVers. The compressor on our Class A MH went bad and stranded us at a Love s Travel Truck Stop off of I 95S in NC mid Saturday afternoon. Most places were closed. Sam answered my call, was at our location, and diagnosed the problem within an hour. He located a new compressor, went and picked it up for us, had to go back by his shop to get his Freon evaluator, and was back at our location at 6:30 the next morning. He fixed everything and had us back on the road before 8:30 AM Sunday morning! He truly was a lifesaver for us and we cannot send out enough praises for him and his business! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Broke main belt on way to work in my dump truck. Overheated quickly. Pulled over and called Mechanics to go. Sam had me up and running in no time. So happy I made that call. Will definitely be using this company again.

I ve used mobile mechanics in the past for on site services, but these guys were simply the best of the bunch. The mechanic was very knowledgeable and he solved our problem quickly. I highly recommend this company if you re looking for an affordable and trustworthy repair company for light and heavy duty services.

Can I say how amazing Sam is?...Mechanics to go was the 17th place i called when broken down in record heat with a blown radiator hose...Very professional, very fast and knowlegable...I will forever use their service anytime I am in North Carolina on a load!!!

My truck broke down the mobile mechanic came he was very helpful very informative I would recommend him to anybody that I know in North Carolina to use his Services he won't screw you over and he will help you out the best he can and he won't try to overcharge you I would use this mechanic again if I'm ever stuck in North Carolina
