He was professional, communicated well and did the job at a good price. It s hard now a days to find a good and honest mechanic. I had to save his contact info bc it s hard to find good and honest work now a days. Oh by the way I had my brakes and rotors placed an he was willing to come to me.

100% recommend. Super easy to make an appointment online for a time that works for you, not like a shop where you drop your car off and hopefully get it back the same day. No hidden fees or up charges, just brakes! Straight forward. I got front and back pads, and back rotors. Huge shout out to Darrell, he went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied as a customer. Plus you re going to save 100s of dollars compared to any shop for the exact same thing. Book it!

Darrell at Just Brakes located in Raleigh, N.C. , on Feb 14 24, did a great job on the installation of brake pads and rotors on my vehicle..02 GMC Yukon. I would very highly recommend him if you like and want 5 star service. He is very knowledgeable about his work and a friendly person who does not mind explaining the work to you.

I cannot give him enough stars. I ve been without a vehicle for months, my local shop even told me it would probably be worth it to get a new vehicle and i was stumped on what to do. Just Brakes legitimately did the job in a couple hours, and used the parts i bought instead of charging me for it through them. He was professional and courteous and honestly, i don t know when the last time i saw grit personified was- but he absolutely embodies it. his work is immaculate, and the time it takes is nothing. Best part, he traveled to me. Would recommend to anyone.Service: Brakes

I just spent $200 and took about an hour and a half to get my brakes from grinding, stuttering, and squealing to having none of these problems. He gave me a ton of advice including other places to get stuff done. Great guy, great conversation, and an outstanding business!

Cannot recommend just brakes enough. Darrell walked me through every single part of the service, and made sure i knew exactly what he was doing every step of the way. amazing prices and he is such a genuinely nice person. As a college aged female, i feel taken advantage of at a lot of mechanics; but not once did darrell make me feel like that. Darrell replaced the pads and rotors I purchased on Amazon. He was friendly, intelligent, efficient and affordable. 10/10 would recommend. Amazon pads and premium rotors $144. Darrell $120.

I give Darrell 10 stars hands down. He took care of my brake needs in a timely manner. We started chatting and before I knew it, it was 5:30 and my appointment was at 3:50. No, he wasn't working on my car that whole time. He did my brakes in the alloted time, and the test of the time was spent talking about businesses, web design etc. This man is a walking encyclopedia, filled with so much knowledge! I had my brakes and rotors replaced last week and the customer service was top tier. After an inspection, Darrell walked me up the hill to the Advance Auto and identified the parts that I needed. While waiting he provided a chair and a Bluetooth speaker. He was quick and got me going in an hour. No ridiculous charges. I m never going to anybody else. Darrell doesn t just take your money. I thought i needed new brakes and he checked all of them and i just ended up needing an alignment. He doesn t try to get over on you because you are a female! I asked a million questions and he answered every single question. 5 stars is not enough!

I would recommend this gentleman and his services to absolutely any and everybody. Very profession, prompt, and proficient. What would have cost me over $300 only cost me $115 with probably better results.

I was looking for someone that really specialized in brake & rotor services. Darryl is a lifesaver! I had been reading his reviews and said when I need some brake work done, I am going to call him. He was so helpful. He told me where to go get my pads and rotors, and suggested which ones were best for my car. When I arrived for him to replace my brakes he was prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable about his work. He completed the work in under an hour. He is about his business and very honest. I needed my front bakes changed and scheduled an appointment online. I was called the night before to verify the service I needed, showed up the next day and it was done in under 30 minutes. Probably spent longer talking with the owner Darryl afterwards, who was very cool and insightful about his business and plans. I will recommend to everyone, it's super affordable and definitely a better experience than anywhere else.

I got front brake pads and rotors. He did an amazing job! Quick and efficient! Amazing customer service! Reasonably priced! I love that he explained everything to me and took the time to make sure I got the correct parts at a good price. Only been in this area for 3 weeks, so I didn t know where to go and who to trust. It is so hard to find an honest mechanic these days and he is exactly that!!! Don t even hesitate! If you need your brakes fixed make an appointment. If I went anywhere else I would have been waiting for hours and charged out the butt!
