Very friendly staff. Waited over 30 minutes for my receipt after I had paid. That's would be my only qualm. But overall the service was phenomenal and the staff did a really good job.

I don't know why there were bad reviews but I had a great experience there. I took my father's car in for a service- a steering wheel fluid leaking which was diagnosed by another shop. To my surprise, they checked and didn't find any leak. I really appreciate their honesty. 5-star rating and you gained a customer. Thank you!

First time visit, drawn by good review. Staff were rude, ask me to call to schedule even though I was standing right in front of them. Focused on eating their food throughout the interaction, didn t even look up when talking to me.

If I could leave Duty Tire a 6 star rating, I would. We were considering purchasing a used car from a local independent dealer and brought it to Duty for a pre-purchase inspection on a Saturday morning around 11AM when they were super busy. We were concerned about rust since the used car was owned up north, so Steve went into the parking lot himself and crawled under the car. Rust wasn't an issue, so we opted for a pre-purchase inspection to get the car on a lift. Jose took a look at it and found a problem. Lo and behold, the transmission was leaking. We walked away from the car. Thank you so very much Steve and Jose for saving us $4,000 - $5,000 in replacing a transmission. 6 stars. 10 stars if I could.

Was quoted at over $900 from Christian Brothers Auto to have a coolant temperature sensor replaced and same repair from Duty Tire is a little over $500 (over 4+ hour repair). Everyone is very honest, helpful, and efficient. Beware, this shop will scam you. They lie and short changes you on materials. I asked for an oil change with Mobil 1 and a tire rotation. The garage was busy so I waited outside. I could see a tech bring the car in. To my surprise, after draining the oil, he filled an oil jug from a bulk tank and proceeded to pour the contents into the engine. Even worse, he didn't rotate the tires.When he brought it down, I told the tech he needed to rotate the tires. He told me it didn't need them rotated. I told him I always have them rotated after 5k miles, and it's time. Then he told me he couldn't find the key to the lock nut.So which is it? Can't find the key or didn't need it.I did an oil analysis after 3k miles and the report was completely different from a baseline analysis using Mobile 1 synthetic oil done earlier this year. It's pretty obvious they're not using synthetic oil at all.Services: Tires, Oil change

Showed up with no appointment and was taken care of right away. I wasn t sure why my tire had been leaking air but they were able to locate a nail and plug it. Affordable price and excellent service. Will be going back for any other work I need on my car.Service: TiresService: Tires

I can t put into words the level of service I ve gotten here. I Moved to Raleigh in 2014 from eastern NC, and I ve always been particular about choosing mechanics and who works on my vehicles. However, Steve and his crew there have always provided the most excellent service. They ve done brakes, suspension work, and odds n ends on a few of my vehicles. Always quick and friendly, with a pleasant and friendly waiting area, this place is truly what all auto service centers should be. I would recommended them to anyone looking for a shop where they ll treat you right.

I visited Just Tires, not Duty Tire, on Capital Blvd. Was very pleased with service and friendliness of staff. They rotated my tires and tested my brake fluid for free.

I ve never took my vehicle here before But after the experience with one of the workers I got today I would never take my vehicle there. One of the guys walked out with a real bad attitude because I had my work truck park to the side of the parking lot and we had only been sitting there like five seconds I was getting out to get some information and he come out and told us our truck can t be there I have to move my truck but like I said he had a real bad attitude about it I would have been fine if he came out and be nice about it but with the attitude He had I wouldn t want anybody like that working on my vehicle. There is a thing called respect Especially when you re working in a place with customers

I used the one off Atlantic Ave for many years and always a fantastic experience. Since we moved we now go to the Tryon Road location and Steve Duty and his guys do a wonderful job as well. Listen, car repairs are costly and similar in price pretty much wherever you go. But an honest mechanic who is straight with you and doesn't sell you things you don't need, that is what's most important. A mechanic who operates like that will always have a lot full of cars. Beware car repair places with empty lots with no waiting! They are empty for a reason!Services: Transmission, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Oil change

Quality service at an affordable price. I went here last time I needed to get my 95K mile routine maintenance done. I ended up waiting for 2 hours because they had a lot of customers in the morning but overall they saved me 100 dollars compared to if I had gone to the Toyota dealership to get my car serviced.

Great people very knowledgeable and would definitely come back again. One of the few places you feel welcomed not just for your money.If Keith is assigned to your car you re lucky. He has a great work ethic and goes above and beyond.

I go to Duty Tire & Service Center because I know I'll get an honest diagnosis at an extremely fair price. I started going there when I had issues with my 12 y/o Jeep Compass that was on the fritz. Steve Duty gave me his honest opinion - the kind I'd expect from a friend. At a vulnerable decision-making point with my Jeep, he gave me the information & advice I needed to finally let it go. Many mechanics wouldn't & could've used it to their advantage to make a buck, but not Steve. I've since purchased a newer vehicle & brought it here for brakes - fully ceramic - at a phenomenal price (lower than what nearby shops charge for semi-metallic)! Other than the above - what I enjoy is seeing Duty's care for the community - from their Free Bread (offered daily) to sponsoring & coaching Little League Baseball (they have the cutest team pictures mounted on the walls). I'm happy I came across them and they are now my trusted mechanics.

Awesome service! They are Big sports fans and I always seem to meet awesome people while I'm waiting for my car to get done! Family operated since day uno! Don't see that much anymore! Keep Rocking Steve & Kevin! Go PACK!
