My favorite group of guys up here, what can I say? They take care of my S10 like it was their own...OK, maybe not- but I go out of my way to stop in and show off lol. Good group of guys, order ahead and pick up in store, fast delivery, one of the best locations as far as staff goes.. Durant maybe because it's a nicer area but the Western Blvd staff has them covered by MILES in the customer service dept...

Not a bad place to get parts and service. Some employees more helpful than others. I made an online order and went by the store, which wasn't busy, an hour later, and they hadn't pulled the product. An employee training another took the order, filled it, and sent me on my way. He was great.

Had our battery in stock and installed it for us in minutes. The young man helping us was the best! He even took the time to show me what he was doing when I asked to watch. I'm sad we didn't have cash to tip him. He was that good!! Young slender man working the evening of 10/25. Will come here for all future car needs. Thank you!

On the night 2-5-24 at 7pm my transmission started acting weird and the check engine light came on. I drove to this store as it s the closest and I asked for help to read check engine light code. They handed me the scanner and said good luck. I tried to use it with no instructions and brought it back in and they said it had no code even though my check engine light is on. I then asked for automatic transmission fluid for 2011 mazda 3 and once they got done playing around they told they did not have any. Really ? A nation wide autoparts store doesn t carry basic ATF . It was obvious this crew was not there for customers so I had to get a ride to Orileys to buy the standard ATF so I could safely get my car back home. My advice is to stay away from this place and drive a few more miles to any other store for help.

Today is Sunday November 5th. I had purchased a headlight bulb replacement. It appeared not to fit or be the correct one. Tamari sold me the original few days back and he was there tonight and went way above and beyond helping me. He represents your company well!!

There is a girl. . I asked her for a filter. She told me to go and look for him. If I had known him, I would not have asked you. I did not like her treatment. I will never go back to this store again

The employees are so nice and never seem bothered by my plethora of questions. They're always honest about the different tiers of products and what I'm paying for. Even when I'm just waiting in line they keep conversation fun and polite. Shout out to my guy Evan who spent waaaay too much time helping me understand and select windshield wipers for my hoopty, then showed me how to replace them in the RAIN. I probably wouldn't have made it home safely otherwise (they were flapping the wind).

Sold me a Die hard battery in June of 2023 that was from July of 2022, went bad 5 months later (should last 2-5 years), then they said since the 3 month warranty was over they couldn't do anything.

I've been shopping at Advance Auto Parts on Western Boulevard in Raleigh for more than 12 years and they consistently have exactly what I need, which is really saying something, since my car is 21 years old. The store is very logically laid out, and their behind-the-counter staff members are highly knowledgeable.Brian, in particular, is an auto parts specialist who goes the extra mile. You can't go wrong if you shop at this store.

Great place of business great staff that work hard to do what they are able to do to satisfy there customers!! Unfortunately people tend to forget to put there apartment numbers on the packages that are left there! They do UPS customers a favor by allowing packages to be left there and picked up! Thank you advance for all you do!! THATS NOT ADVANCES fault!

Customer Service is horrible!!! Have no professionalism! Can t answer the phone correctly! Sounds like a bunch of kids work here! Horrible staff! Please go to another location this is NOT the one ! Matty the one with the frizzy hair and glasses so called manager lol is childish and needs to find another job! Horrible person to have work for your business don t HIRE him!

My car battery died all of a sudden. I checked online and Advanced Auto Parts showed up on my Google search results. I have also noticed they install it for me if I purchased from them. I also noticed they give 20% discount when I purchase online. I went to the store after 30 mins. My order was ready store person wasn't friendly. I asked him simple questions like "I ordered online is this the best battery for my car" He was like I don't know I have to check. Even though he answered my questions his tone wasn't friendly. May be he is like that with all customers I don't know. Another employee David helped me install my Battery. He was very calm and friendly answered all questions and patiently cleaned my battery terminals and replaced it.

I came to advanced auto parts around 8pm because my tail light was out. I didn't want to spend money if not needed but I had to get it done. I went in and the service response was quick. A really cool guy named Eli was phenomenal in his customer service he followed all the rules and helped me find the right bulb. I realized that I had an extra one when he pulled out the # i needed for my car. He helped me make sure my tail light was working and educated me on inspections and how they work. He was just so cool and attentive. I will def share this awesome experience with other people. Thanks Eli !!

This place SHOULD NOT be your first choice. Inexperienced staff, (except Glen) poor customer service (except Glen) and rude staff I WILL NOT shop here again!

Came in for a new car battery on what turns out to have been a busy evening for them. Despite the larger-than-usual customer presence, all employees were patient and willing to help. Coupled with their being extremely knowledgeable and efficient, I'd definitely recommend this particular store/branch to anyone.

This morning my husband and I went to this Advance Auto, after spending almost $300 dollars they day before at this same location we were treated with the worst customer service ever. I feel as if we were racially profiled after asking this gentleman for help charging our battery he declined ; immediately after another customer comes in same nationality as the WORKER wanting the same service as we did he immediately helped him! I will be getting in contact with the corporate office also filing a complaint with the BBB ASAP. I will be getting a lawyer involved. We live in 2020 and we were treated WRONG! I also will be bringing back these parts that we purchased as well!

I brought in a battery for replacement. Chris did an excellent job testing my old battery and recommending a replacement. Not that I couldn t carry it, but he did tote the old one out of the back of my vehicle and took the carry handle off the old battery to the new one so I could move it easier. Most of all he didn t treat me like a silly female . Thank you. Great staff here.

Can't praise this store and the manager, Bill, enough -- great customer experience in replacing a battery for me, despite some years of corrosion and rust. Bill handled it all, despite being outside in the cold. Thankful for the team here!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon to replace a dead battery when most other shops were closed. The friendly technician swapped in a new battery in under 10 minutes. Great service and price.

Excellent experience. Extremely happy with customer service. I normally never give reviews but Janine was awesome. Super helpful the moment i walked in the door and concise in explaining what I needed and just very positive genuinely wanting to help me out and not just ring me up at a register.

Went to advanced to get a new battery, and Ron was more then amazing! He was timely, kind, and over all a huge help. He took extra time to work with us and had the best customer service I ve seen in a long time! Thank you

The guy with the dread locks was cool and friendly but the young brotha (Kyle W) at the end register(3) has no business working in customer service if your going to have that little mammy boy attitude keep your behind at home and go find a job somewhere else that has nothing to do with customer service

I went to this location for the free battery and alternator check because my car had issues starting. As it turns out my battery needed to be replaced. They did it in no time and even provided me with a discount. No unnecessary up-selling, just the facts. Awesome service!

Total lack of manners and consideration. I am 79 years old. As I approached the entrance huntched over and struggling in pain carrying a battery. I have a problematic lower back and degenerative hip. An employee was just ahead of me and did not even offer to hold open the door. I had to sit the batty on the sidewalk to open the door. Once in, 3 employees watched me struggle to the rear of the store without offering assistance. The "Manager" was Kurt and short with an attitude of not wanting to assist me with my issue. I stood in obvious pain with both hands on my knees waiting. When I left with the battery it was handed to me with no offer of assistance to take it to my car from employees doing nothing else. I will not go out of my way to visit that store again. Sad state. They might not have been taught better at home, but they could be taught better customer care at work!
