I made an appointment for 11 assuming that my car would be worked on within a reasonable amount of time. I waited for my oil change to be completed in the waiting room believing that this was going to be moderately quick. Instead it was an hour and a half before my car was even taken back for service. During this period absolutely no communication occurred. No one told me I was being delayed or that it was taking longer than expected. I had to find out for myself by seeing my car be moved to the back after almost two hours of waiting. Over three hours after my original appointment time was I eventually able to receive my car back. I spent half of my day off in the waiting room of a AAA because they can t keep an appointment or communicate to their customers. Absolutely terrible service. I usually don t write reviews because I have better things to do with my time but not today. AAA ensured that I would have ample time to write this. I wish I could give no stars because at this point they only get one for participation.

Felt like I was being taken advantage of at another shop. (I was) Called AAA while my car was at other shop, told them what was going on. I brought my car AAA the next morning. AAA service was great, was also give a list and pics of upcoming items that will need to done in future with quotes. Love this factor so I am able to plan accordingly and not just being shocked when I go in the future. Cameron at the desk was nice and professional as well. Found my new car place!! Thank you

Failed a NC inspection at the Glenwood location. Failed for low Power steering fluid which they stated I needed a new Rack and Pinion assembly for the low price of $3500.00 and the parking Brake wasn t catching just right, ironic that I had just spent over $2000.00 at this location for new brakes and calipers on the front. Must have missed the chance to fleece me on a new parking brake. After I took this to a reputable dealer they found no leak from the power steering and the parking brake caught on just fine. I should have looked at all the negative comments before I had my brakes and inspection done here. Expensive lesson learned.

I had my E320 serviced here for many years. This time, a young man Jack Kimball assisted me with maintenance and inspection, along with constructive recommendations that I needed. Great job and I will return in a few months.

Very over priced , including the fact they didn t even shut my hood all the way closed luckily no rain got inside because it was raining hard. That s what set off this review tbh . When you deny their services it just seems like they treat your car any type of way. I recommend not coming here. Parts are cheap what you re paying for is labor & I have enough knowledge to know what makes sense & what doesn t! Something that takes 10-20 minutes to do & maybe at the most an hour , you want to charge an arm and a leg . No thank you !

Took (towed) my Audi A4 to AAA and they said I needed to replace my engine. We agreed on a price and they dropped in a new engine and most related parts (belts, gaskets, plug, etc.) with a 2 yr/20Km warranty. It failed. Took in back, it failed again and leaked the entire engine in my garage floor. Got it back in, replace the head gasket again, it failed. Put in some short term fix and drove away - very upset. I had to put oil in my engine all the time and kept a case in my trunk. Four years and 10K miles later I took it in for an oil change (because of a coupon) when my garage was again covered and the oil light went on. They told me I had a severe oil leak (duh - I showed them pictures). They said I was no longer covered by warranty. Also, the persons that waited on me and did the work had both left and they had no European car skills inhouse. You need to take it to the dealer. Also during the inspection they said the serpentine belt (which they said they replace 10K miles ago - should last 120k) was worn out and needed to be replaced.Worthless money pit. Can't tell you how much I mistrust them. Stay away if you have a European car and or any difficult mechanic job. You will pay steeply in the long run.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Oil change

I ve been a AAA member for about 12 years now. I recently relocated from NY and I am very impressed by AAA Carolinas. I have car insurance and renter s insurance through them. The service here is that of a Hotel Concierge. The team here seems to work well together to get their customer taken care of. They take time to review and discuss services you should follow up on to keep your car on the road. The include a thorough complimentary inspection of the vehicle addressing all areas and tire rotation. For those of you complaining about the 2 hours you spent waiting, it was well worth it. Many of these 15 min oil change places don t look at the fluids, don t put your caps back on after service and are out for blood. If you don t want to wait hours, they offer car service courtesy by LYFT to pick you up and bring you back once service is complete. They repaired my A/C as well by performing a evacuation & recharge. That baby is cooler than ice cold ! I saved on that with their AAA email coupon savings.I m in good hands here. I also recently had a routine oil change service done and thanks to the team here who is thorough, they discovered a broken engine mount. I had my personal mechanic repair it immediately saving my car from further damage. Always get a trusted 2nd opinion when in doubt about their service recommendations.

Scheduled state inspection for today (Saturday morning) and was in and out in under 45 minutes. The crew was extremely polite and professional to every customer that walked in.

When I called folks were friendly on the phone and the gentlemen at the desks were friendly at the end of a trying day. The tech I talked with was even friendly- that is so unique these days!Will definitely be returning.

Scheduled appointment online where you detail the car info. Upon arrival, I was notified the oil filter wasn t ordered so it s going to add another 30 min. Nice folks but unprepared

AAA member, took car in due to leaking oil, oil light on, they couldn t find a leak anywhere. I suggested they put it on the lift & actually look for it, still no leak. 6 days later, undercarriage starts dragging the ground where they didn t secure it properly & I call for a tow. 2 hours later, still on the side of the road, I took an Uber to work. They called to let me know they found the leak & it was going to be $1,100 to replace the oil pan & a thermostat level sensor which made no sense to me so I told them I would come get it. My friend Tok it to his shop & it needed a new copper drain plug for the oil to stop the leak, said this should have been changed with the last oil change, also done by this AAA. Needless to say, I will not be going back-

I have not had to use AAA in over a year. 3 drivers, and 3 vehicles. And I am still a big advocate for AAA. When we have needed their roadside, or towing services there's a great sense of relief knowing help is a call away.

My boyfriend was visiting from PA and his truck broke down. It was towed to this Triple A location. The team was so attentive and helpful. We were so grateful for this awesome team of experts. They kept us up-to-date by checking and ensuring we were aware and understood the what was going on with the vehicle. Cameron is AWESOME (as is the whole team) but his patience, understanding, and professionalism were excellent. So thankful for this team. Moving here from a different state is tough and I m trying to find all of my new go-to businesses. So thankful that I have found my new go-to mechanic/auto repair shop!Service: Transmission repair

Just had to have my car towed to this location multiple times for multiple issues, but they worked hard and figured out what my car needed, and how to help me most cost effectively. Did paying for the parts suck...of course, but I did get a 10% discount on labor with my AAA membership, and I can't put a price tag on how kind every single person at this location was. No matter who answered the phone or spoke to me at the shop they were all so nice and such a contrast to most every other car repair shop I've ever been in and trust me ive been in more than my fair share! Special shout out to Rick though he really went above and beyond and helped make a very stressful situation much less stressful! I am a AAA member and for towing, etc., it is great. I took my car to this location for an oil change and because when I would break, there was shaking. They "fixed" the problem by putting new brakes and rotors on the back. Said they drove it and it was good to go. I drove it home and the problem was still there, so clearly no one had driven the car. Took it back the next day and they said oh it looks like the front needs to be fixed. We thought it was the back. Needless to say I am disappointed that I paid $720 to "fix" the problem and then told it would be an additional $440 to do the front which was the actual problem. I do not have confidence that the back actually needed to be corrected and am out $720 and still had to take it somewhere else to get the issue actually corrected. I will say, the customer service guy was nice. I am disappointed that they did not catch the actual issue and will not be having them work on my car in the future.Services: Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

Kind and courteous. Every time I go in the staff are available and ready to help.This most recent time, my brakes went out on my SUV and they worked through the cheapest option till they got to the most expensive part (trying to save me time and money) before they found the problem, but only charged the parts and labor regarding the resolution.No upcharging and they also gave me their honest opinion on a few things they sell in the store vs what other places may sell.

A couple of months ago, I went to AAA because I had a coupon for an oil change and is closer than where I had gone. They changed oil so hoping that s ok. They failed my inspection due to my tires then tried to sell me tires for my Camry almost $1000 more than the tires they found after I said heck no!! I had to return to replace.I called my previous shop and they said they would reinspect. Not only did my tires pass, but they did not charge to reinspect! I scheduled a realignment and will purchase tires from the honest shop NOT AAA! That s horrible how AAA tried to profit! Lesson learned! I ll NEVER go there and recommend you don t either!

My latest trip was the final straw. I had my brakes replaced and the warranty was still active. I went in because my brake light was on. I called for a brake inspection and was told to come right in as they could fit me in immediately. I arrived 15 minutes later and handed over my keys. My car remained untouched for the next hour and 5 minutes. I asked a representative why my car hasn t been taken in yet and they went to check on it. 15 minutes later a rep got in my car, backed over a curb, then pulled in to the bay. After mother 20 minutes, the front desk person came to inform me I have a severe leak in my brake line, possibly multiple. This was not covered by the warranty. I said thank you and asked for my keys back. The front desk clerk then said I need to get it towed because my brakes are in that bad of condition. I took my keys and drove down the road to Triangle Car Care where David put brake fluid in my vehicle and scheduled me an appointment for the next day.All the while my time was not being respected at AAA, I was waiting in the lobby. Customer after customer that had come in for a routine oil change had a representative sit down with them and quote hundreds of dollars worth of repairs that were urgent. Not once was it as simple as your oil change is complete and you re all set. There was always something else.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

I was traveling out of town and had a warning light come on that my tire had lost pressure and needed service. Was fortunate to be near the Glenwood Ave center, pulled in and my tire was fixed promptly. Everyone in the center was so polite and they did a great job.Service: TiresService: Tires

AAA did not spend enough time to inspect my vehicle. They just repeated items recommended from the ticket 6 months ago. They did not even open my wheels to check breaks to find out how much break life is left! Total whack job. Don t go here, they will not spend enough time inspecting your vehicle. Printout did not include readings from brake check, battery inspection, etc., but we re very quick to recommend both services, without any back up diagnosis and readings. I expected better and more professional treatment from them.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Battery

Went there they claimed my engine was blown took it to another shop which informed me there was a wire issue there was no blown engine wouldn t recommend them to anyone

AAA has really lost their way. I dropped their service when they left me stranded on Christmas Eve, true story. I attempted to give them one more chance. I visited this location to get assistance with a AAA battery that was in my vehicle. I asked the man at the counter if he could look at my battery and tell me if it was still covered under warranty. He said he couldn't leave his post to check that. I was parked right out front of the business and all he had to do was look at the label. This would have only taken 5 minutes of his time, at most. He was too " busy" to get provide assistance. If you don't have time to look at a battery and tell me if it's still covered under warranty I don't have time to give you my business.

Ric the manager is the best. I have followed him from his previous job to AAA. Thorough and fast service. Master mechanic that can fix any car! If you want first class service go see the manager at this location.

They replaced brake pads and rotors on the front of my wife's Volvo. The brakes squeal when cold. I took the car back and they were nice enough to check out. They found no problems. It still squeals. Now, a year later the car shakes badly when braking. I suspect they used poor quality aftermarket parts.
