WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!!! I BOUGHT A 2014 JEEP, WITH THE LIGHT BAR AND LIGHTS BEING THE MOST PRONOUNCED AND APPEALING PART OF THE VEHICLE, SINCE I WAS PURCHASING FOR MY GRANDSON'S FOR HIS 18TH BIRTHDAY TO BE USED AT COLLEGE. THE SALESPERSON VINCENT ASSURED ME THAT ALL VEHICLES WERE MECHANICALLY SOUND AND HAD PASSED STRICT MECHANICAL INSPECTION AND THAT EVERYTHING MUST PASS THIS INSPECTION PRIOR TO BEING PLACED FOR SALE. HE WAS UNABLE TO GET THE LIGHTBAR AND ADDED LIGHTS TO ILLUMINATE, DURING THE TEST DRIVE, HOWEVER HE ASSURED ME THAT MURPHY MOTORS WOULD MAKE SURE THIS WAS FIXED. HE STATED THAT THEIR AUTOMOTIVE SHOP IN RALEIGH, NC, DID ALL REPAIRS, AND THAT HE WOULD PROVIDE ALL INFO FOR REPAIR LOCATION, ETC. ONE WEEK AFTER SALES TRANSACTION COMPLETION, WHEN I HAD NOT RECEIVED INFO, I CALLED VINCENT. HE STATED '"JUST TAKE THE VEHICLE TO ANY REPAIR SHOP, AND THAT EVEN AFTER THE MURPHY MOTOR 60 -DAY DELIVERY WARRANTY TIMEPERIOD, THIS WOULD BE COVERED UNDER THE ADDITIONAL WARRANTY THAT I PURCHASED". PETE SMITH GARAGE, license #KJA-1268, LOUISBURG NC, INSPECTED VEHICLE AND ON THEIR REPAIR ORDER#384238 STATED "LIght bar wires have been cut under the hood. Unable to trace all the connections." WHEN PRESENTED WITH THIS FACT, VINCENT BECAME RUDE AND BELLIGERENT, SO MUCH SO THAT I HUNG UP THE PHONE ON HIM. HE WOULD NOT LISTEN BUT INSTEAD TALKED OVER MY CONVERSATION. THE NEXT DAY I WENT TO MURPHY MOTORS AND MET WITH GENERAL MANAGER RAY DOMINISAC ON 09/06/2023. INITIALLY HE ASSURED ME THAT THIS SITUATION WOULD BE RECTIFIED BY THE MECHANIC SHOP, BUT WHEN I CALLED THE SHOP AS I WAS LEAVING MURPHY MOTORS, THE MECHANIC EMPHATICALLY STATED THIS WAS "NOT THE WAY IT WORKS". I IMMEDIATELY WENT BACK TO MURPHY MOTORS, TO RELATE THIS INFORMATION. AFTER SPEAKING WITH THE MECHANIC AND HIS SUPERVISOR, RAY DOMINISAC STATED THAT MURPHY MOTORS WILL NOT COVER THIS REPAIR, THAT THEY DO NOT CHECK AFTERMARKET PARTS, AND THAT THEY SELL CARS ALL THE TIME WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF WHETHER OR NOT PARTS/EQUIPMENT ARE IN WORKING ORDER. I AM A 67-YEAR OLD FEMALE--THEY SIMPLY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME!!!
