I used to come here anytime I needed help on my cars. They were fair priced and very willing to go the extra mile. Example would be if I was getting an oil change and I asked them to take a look at my trunk latch they wouldnt want to charge $178 dollars on top of a 75 dollar oil change to do so. I won't be using them again unless I have no choice. The money became what is most important to Mr tire. The customer comes last. To the owner of Mr tire who I am sure will read this review with service like this it won't be long before that Google review ratting drops like a rock. You should get a handle on this before you continue pushing people with your surveys. In the last year the service has really went down hill.

What a complete and total waste of time trying to go to Mr.Tire. Went on a Tuesday at 3:30 and asked if they could do an alignment they told me they were booked for the day to schedule a appointment for the next day (Wednesday) called and asked if they could get me in and they said of course we can. Went to the store and was told I would need to wait 45 min and they could do it, I agreed and came back when it was time. Upon my return I walked in and gave my information and was asked for my license plate number which I don t know off the top of my head. He said that s fine I ll go get it he looked at my truck came back in and said he couldn t do it. Said he doesn t know if it ll fit on his machine (it s a slightly lifted Tacoma). Anyway whatever won t be back wouldn t recommend 0/10. Could ve just told me that initially.

I have been a customer at this shop for about a year now. I was actually on the verge of finding someone else until new management took over, made changes and they are great! Better customer service, pleasant to speak to, knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond to help. I appreciate these changes and the staff bc I am new to the area and live 5 mins away and was pretty excited to have found a great mechanic shop so close to home! Thank you, great job with the turn around!!!

We usually go here for service. Jody is a great mechanic to the point we drive the hour. However, in the past 2 weeks we've received quotes ranging from $600-$2,000 for oil change, transmission fluid change, and spark plug change aka a tune on our 2013 Fford pickup. I was told a tune is only a spark plug change now and nothing else. Called a place 15 mintues away a spark change..$300 only! Total to do oil change, transmission fluid, and spark change $750. Whoever took over at Mr. Tire is doing a bad job.

Went to have a battery changed which you wouldn't think would take that long. Apparently while our vehicle was getting serviced someone came to business to get into an argument with the person working on our vehicle. The conversation got heated and other employees had to separate them. It got so bad that the police had to come and straighten things out. Just so happen the person that came to talk to the employee was taken off by the police. All this time no one was tending to our vehicle. Finally someone else took over because the employee that started the work I guess had to calm down. Finally that finished up. You would think after all this happening they would have gave us some kind of discount but nope. Usually I've gotten good service from this business but unfortunately not this time

We were traveling to Ashville and were running out of air in a tire. We called at 6:45 and they answered and said they would take us in to get us patched. Literally life savers as we were on family vacation.

Good afternoon,I feel fully violated upon my daughter having a repair at your Newton, NC location and will NEVER go or recommend them ever. They are fully unethical and took advantage of her.She had to have her front stabilizer links replaced which they state were $139.88ea. The exact same part number sells for $37ea every where I look. The dealer charges only $43ea and Autozone only charges $32ea. They also charged her a $99 computer diag fee which was not even performed as the part replaced has no computer interface and on top of that charged her $350 labor for all of 30 minutes it took to install these parts. The entire service time was less than 2hrs out the door and included a wheel alignment. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. I am well aware of the cost of these repairs as I am an ASC tech of over 30yrs but can not do the work any longer due to a neck injury. I hope your company executives have very little sleep tonight after reading this email. $625 for this work is an abomination.Signed a very upset fatherJohn Haggerty

Hands down the worst shop around. Been there several times only because I drive a company vehicle and they are on the list of approved shops. Never had a good experience. Will not be returning. Slow - as in 2 hour oil changes. Unprofessional and not knowledgeable

Don't go there they will get ya, I went in for a inspection on my jeep they failed it due to tires, so went to get 4 used tires on the 19th then went back to them to finish the inspection but they failed it again because of the tires, but on the first visit when it failed they done up a invoice for 4 tires valve stems 4 I guess balance and a front end alignment which it did not need, for $1057.00 dollars and thought I would fall for it but I didn't * FOLLOW UP* I went to a different inspection station this morning and my tires passed with flying colors so they thought that they were going to get me so they are out to take you for any money that they can get you forStay away from that placeThey are crooked

Dropped my wife s vehicle off due to a nail in the tire without an appointment, and the repair was made in just under an hour! Very fast and friendly service and my wife s civic is back on the road! Great place, will visit again

I had to get my tire fixed and these people are the best. Steven and Johnny helped me get it fixed and where very nice even though it was close to closing time. I can say...I about didn't stop in because of the way I was treated before but it's obviously under new MGMT and I definitely will be going back for anything else I need in the future.

Can't say enough positive about this location being open on a holiday AND doing a safety check on my tires/vehicle before a long road trip! I had a tire "issue" that would have delayed my trip by a full day, BUT Tory DELIVERED on the customer service and the needed peace of mind. Mr Tire should be your FIRST CALL every time you have an issue!!!

This place is falling apart since Bill is not there. You have an oil change kid sitting at the front desk and know very little. He wasn't even able to write me up. No manager to be found. He said he was out and not sure when he would be back. Why would you not have help qualified to be at the front counter. Just one less customer. Wasted 20 minutes of my life, I will never get back. Terrible

We had an amazing experience here! Bill and his team (I think Johnny and Gabe?) did an amazing job of helping us out. We had some tire issues out of nowhere and were an hour from our destination which was very distressing, but when I called they agreed to help us even though they were about to close! We found out one tire needed to be replaced, but the other one could be repaired. They fixed both issues and also did an alignment. They did quality and fast work for a fair price. It was also a pleasure talking to Bill during the downtime! They made what could have been a disastrous experience into a very pleasant one. My only regret is that I can't bring this place back with me when we head home!

Went there to get tire plugged. Took over an hour all the mechanics were just sitting around in the bay area. Finally got into my car to leave and didn't make it to bogangles and low tire pressure light came on. went back to Mr Tire and the mechanic said drive it for about 5 miles and light will go off. Never happened west to NBT and to find out they put 47 pounds of air in my tire when its only suppose to be 33 pounds pressure and all of the others only had 24 pounds of pressure. This is the 2nd time has happened the first time same thing but the guy took off tire and was bouncing my tire on the floor causing it to break a seal in it. I will never go back to this place ever again so unprofessional I think they cause more problems than it worth because they are stealing and damaging your vehicles.

I had a screw in my tire and needed a patch. I was able to come in with no appointment, and was taken care of immediately. The staff was very friendly, and the guy doing the repair was very diligent and even made sure all my tires had plenty of air in them. They are also very conveniently located in Newton. I am highly impressed, and highly recommend. I will come here for all future tire issues

The work they wanted to do on car was way to high for my budget .On a fix income just need an inspection .,It goes to fixing my car to $ 771 no way it s cheap little car not worth it

This is the best place to get your tires done!! Very kind and polite people working!I'm not from here and they gave me the best deal that I could not pass up!Very fast service and I had no wait time!!10/1000% recommend coming here!! TORI your the best, thank you!!

I definitely loved the service I got thereIt's the price had a problem with. I had a blowout and had a new tire myself. It was 43.26. it's was 28.99 to put the tire on the rim and rim on the car. 7.00 to discard and misc. 2.90 for disposable as well. Then tax44.00. I wish I had just went to the 25 place instead. So I do think that I was overpriced because I'm female

My brother just went to have his brakes done yesterday and the incompetent team at Mr.tire did such a horrible job one of his brake lines on the rear passenger side came detached spraying brake fluid. Which almost resulted in a accident cause his brakes werent working properly!! Dont risk getting brakes done here they'll charge you $800 and kill you!

I highly recommend them. My boyfriend had a nail in his tire I pulled see if they had time praying they would. They did with no problem. They were very sweet and Josh was very funny and kind. The lady that helped me from the start was very informative and told me everything that was going on with his car which helped considering he just bought the car a few months ago. Very well reasonably priced.

I had the best experience I ve ever had at a tire shop or mechanic in general. Josh was an amazing associate that was extremely friendly and patient and made sure everything went smooth and quick, and the entire staff was super friendly and helpful in explaining services and making sure I got the best products for my vehicle. I ll definitely be coming back for anything else that I ll need for my car.

Went there 8/20/2023 to get a oil change and tire rotation and they did the oil change but not the tire rotation and charged me for it want be going back

Every time I have to come in because I got a flat or the studs to my wheels snapped off, they take care of me as quickly as they can. Good communication, and realistic expectations. They never promise they can get your car done by a certain time knowing they don't have enough technicians.

I was here a week ago, they were very accommodating and friendly. It was a warm atmosphere. I felt like I was in good hands (not Allstate, better even) whereas most places make me anxious like they'll just overcharge me or sell me stuff I don't need.

I brought my car here because there was a nail in the tire on a random Friday morning. I was greeted with prompt, generous, and accommodating service. I will definitely be back and will be recommending this location to my friends and family.
