First time there, friendly staff. Dump Station $10 next to propane tank. Super location, very clean, off route 126. Now I'm embarrassed to note why I needed their go to guy there who fixes rvs (Pat). Due to recent cold weather I had no fresh water to flush toilet. Well that's not good as without water mixed in with black tank latter won't exit but grey water does. Pat stuck a water pole into black tank and high pressure water flushed black tank poop out ! Gotta keep that black tank mixed with water, even in winter.

Central point to lots of great hiking and off-roading. The hookups are well placed and the sewer is low for easy drainage. We appreciated the splitter and good water pressure. There is a bath house with laundry facilities and propane available, though we didn t use those. As far as camping goes, the sites are well spaced, but it s not somewhere where I would want to just hang out. The front, back and some of the middle rows are for longer stays. In essence it s just a big lot facing the side of a hill or the street with RV hook-ups. Great for overnighting, but not scenic in any shape or form.

Owners are awesome. Staff is amazing. I had a problem with my water, they fixed me up. They've put a lot of work into this park. Large spots, fire rings, picnic tables. The bathrooms are very nice. Laundry room was clean, $1.50 to wash, $1.00 to dry. Only thing missing was an off leash dog park. But otherwise a wonderful stop!

My husband and I stayed at this park while he was working out of town. It is definitely a home away from home. It s is a newer park but has everything you need. Wonderful staff, and great rv neighbors staying at the park. Can t wait to come back it is definitely a gem!

This RV park was very quiet. Not far from gorgeous views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The wifi and cable was surprisingly good. The bathouse was super clean. We would like to come back again sometime.

Found a Diamond among the rough! River Pointe is a 2-year new campground, the forethought and planning of this park shines through. The spaces WOW! Big-Rig friendly, extra-long sites, with the lushest green grass we ve ever seen. We are 42 + tow and could add another vehicle if needed. The restroom facilities and laundry room surpass most luxury hotels. Not to mention the gorgeous new cabin (with more to come) on top of the bluff. The owner and staff are super friendly and at the park daily, maintaining, improving and working tirelessly to makes sure River Pointe keeps shining. There is no office or store, but communication is phenomenal from reservations, to check in and everything in between. Shannon was my personal hero, saving us from having to stay at a widely known CG that was more a downtrodden trailer park nearby. She constantly worked to help extend our stay where she could and what started at 3 nights is now 2 weeks and we love it! Power (50A), water and sewer were all excellent, Wi-Fi connectivity was super, the roads are wide well maintained and easy to navigate. The park does not have the likes of a pool, pickle-ball etc but if you are looking for a beautiful, safe, nice park to stay while exploring the area River Pointe is a must!Veterans, Military, Law Enforcement 10% discount with ID

Excellent newer RV park with year-round rental options. Bathhouse and coin op laundry are gorgeous and well-maintained by the friendly and good folks on staff. Really peaceful and quiet overall setting. Don't even get me started on the amazing stargazing at night! Catawba River boat access is about a quarter mile down the road. A great place to stay for a weekend or a month, and the folks who own and manage this property are truly good people.

This park is beautiful and much more like a resort park. It s very quiet and definitely not your party park. But if you want somewhere safe and quiet and well maintained, this is it!The owners and on site staff are so nice and helpful.Yes, it s new and things are still being added and worked on daily, but they didn t spare any details with this one! The bath house and laundry room are beautiful, the sites are pull through and huge! You can even get your propane refilled here. I was hesitant to write a review because I selfishly didn t want to share this hidden gem, but that s not the RV er spirit. This is hands down the nicest park we have stayed at in North Carolina!

Lovely park - facility feels brand new. Staff are like family. Affordable and accessible. All the amenities. Beautiful area of North Carolina, surrounded by lakes, parks, wineries, trails, and more.

Very nice hosts. RV park is well organized, but kind of bare until they get trees planted. Sites are gravel and long, but many have some down slope. Sewer connection at our site was slightly up hill. Beautiful sky at night. Very nice bath house and laundry. Very quiet and friendly park.

Grounds kept amazingly well. Staff friendly and helpful. Easy access to shopping and restaurants while staying in country surroundings. Clean. Well priced.

River Point Campground thank you for have very nice RV Dump facilities. We were able to dump and get propane at this location. We will be back sometime in the future to camp.

I stayed 3 months while working in the area. Great folks in the park. Bathroom and laundry area is absolutely prefect. Quit area to relax. I would recommend staying at River Pointe RV Park, you will not be disappointed. Top Notch !!!!!

We stumbled upon this place by accident and we are glad we did! We were having some brake trouble on our way to our destination and we called River Pointe. Even though the place was full, Shannon squeezed us in and worked it out so we could stay there until we got things working again. The park was very nice with 5-star bathrooms and nice level spots. We hope to be back soon when we can stay longer!

We're a quiet park loved by many seasonal campers, traveling workers, families looking for a house in this crazy market, and more. We stay pretty full, so be sure to call ahead for your reservations. Had a wonderful time with our family at this campground! It was our first time ever camping especially with our new RV! Good quiet place to be! Everyone was very nice. Bathhouse was fantastic and clean! Will definitely be back for some quiet weekends!

Love this campground. It is beautiful peaceful and quite. We travel as a group. This time there was 4 campers. Kathy and Pat were very helpful getting us 4 sites together. Enjoyed our stay and will return. No disappointments.

LOVE this park, the owners, the staff, and the guests! I ve lived in a RV multiple times, and this is by far the cleanest, most well laid out and organized park I ve ever been to. Great amenities and accommodating staff they take customer service to the next level. Highly recommend!

New facility. Large, level sites. Good layer of stone to keep you clean and dry.New, Clean bath house and laundry. Friendly workers. They were planting new trees at each site when we arrived. Would not hesitate to book here again.

I'm a full timer here from the start. I really like the place a lot. While there is still ongoing work to finish up some things like the public bathhouses the place is peaceful and relaxing. My neighbors are nice and the owners are great. The park layout was very well thought out and site access is really easy for big RV And fifth wheel units alike. Plenty of parking at each site after your unit is so set up too !The last place we stayed was cramped.Got great hi speed internet for being as far out of a major city, so far ...zero bandwidth issues!Lots of great shopping 10 minutes away and this area is loaded with recreation opportunities.

This is great campground . The sites are spacious with full hookup. The campground is basically fairly new which means development is being fine tuned. Grass between sites is filling in nicely. The sites are gravel and mostly level. Wifi is super and is used for TV streaming. The restrooms/shower rooms / laundry room is combined and towed in as a pre-built unit ( which is beautiful). There are approximately 50 sites and the owner / staff is super nice and accommodating. The site we were on was slightly tapered for a motor home and the next day he spread more gravel and made it level for longer motor homes. When returning to the area this is our choice!

Enjoyed this park..nice and quiet. Has great brand new bathrooms with shower but only one is ready 3 more are in process. Pat the owner is wonderful and helpful, this was our first trip in our new camper. Will definitely go back!

Full timers and this is one of the best campgrounds we ve ever stayed at. Pat and Kathy are such wonderful people. Lots are not right on top of each other. Great little hiking trail on the property. Walking distance to the river. Beautiful small town charm. We recommend this campground to everyone we know.

I travel full time as a traveling medical professional and one of the hardest parts about the nature of my job is finding a place to stay for 13wks. From the moment I called and spoke to the owner, Kathy, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming spirit. She took the time to listen to me and went above and beyond with regards to her customer service. Unfortunately my travel contract fell through, so I immediately I called to let her know I would no longer be needing the reservation she has so kindly set up for me. I called and was greeted again with a warm friendly response, she was more than understanding, kind and reassuring. I will definitely be making it a point to visit the next time I m traveling through. Thanks Kathy!

This is great place!!!! We got here not long ago and we are absolutely love it. Owner and workers here are VERY GOOD PEOPLE, who will help you, will support you, will work hard to accommodate your needs.. They developed here wonderful place.. If you have dogs DONT GO TO THIS PARK!! The owners hate dogs. Cathy actually told me and my husband on the phone that they're weeding anybody out with dogs and then they're gonna try to charge you a fee when you move your trailer Say you left trash behind I would not recommend anybody to go to this RV park!!!! They don't have a laundry house or bathhouse This place is horrible
