I was driving from Atlanta to Charlotte and smoke starting coming out of my car. I was so glad someone recommended I come to Deal s. They discovered a rotten hose quickly and were determined to get me back on the road. Grateful.

Paid over 4000 for the motor to be rebuilt and transmission replacement in January 2023, nothing but issues after. I had to replace the spark plus, wire and coil pack, injectors, sensors all over again myself. Ultimately the head gasket blew April 2023. Thanks for wasting my money. If you want the job done half way this is the place to go.

They replaced my heater hose, but now a month later I just realized they overtightened the connector and cracked the hose they installed.

People were very nice and they helped me when my truck broke on a trip. The mechanic that worked on my truck was not experienced on this repair and so it took longer than it should. We were still appreciative that we could continue our trip with a fully functioning vehicle.

I went to deals in hopes to get a diagnostic done on my vehicle as they claimed they could work on VW (German engineer) it s a specific person that was supposed to view my vehicle for my diagnostic named bob, David , Abraham! I called deals set up to drop my car off on Sunday using their drop box and have it viewed. I did my part and called Monday to check on it, I called and called and called finally got someone on the line at 1-2ish pm they took my info said they d get to it Tuesday! It is now Friday and a simple diagnostic has not been completed on my vehicle, I have been more than patient but everytime I call the person I need isn t there, and they say he s going to return my call and never calls. This has happened every single day and as of now I am picking my car up 5 days later with no diagnostic performed! He also forced me to pick my car up today before work and wouldn t let me pick up tomorrow morning because the owner quote on quote words I m not having no car on my lot that s not making me no money after having my car sit on his lot for 5 days after giving me the go around. He also was trying to charge me a diagnostic for telling me my battery is dead which is obvious as they were supposed to find out what was killing my battery . This place doesn t care about quality work at all they only care about the money. Also me being a young black woman im pretty sure I was racially profiled from the beginning of it all due to it being a shop of older white men. Leaving their some sick worker looked at me and let me know just how beautiful I was , and it was a bit sick.

Hired them for an engine swap on my 05 Subaru legacy gt. I had already purchased the motor from JDM Inc in Charlotte. Price was supposed to be $900. With additional parts needed it was almost $1000 charged to me. Once this was done they still couldn't get the car to run. They suggested a few things they could try which cost another near $500. After all this the car did run but worse than it came in. I would not suggest using this shop.

Always great service, work, and prices. Very reliable and trustworthy mechanics. Won't let any other shop even touch my vehicles. Been going to them for over 10 years

Deals Automotive provided great service and replaced brake lines after we broke down. They jumped right on it and had us back up and running as quick as possible.

Cheaper than dealerships but not that different from most typical auto shops in Gaston county. For complex problems go first to dealerships before doing unnecessary repairs. Once figured out they ll do it for less.

I think this shop does a great job. The few times I've been there, he seem to do me right. It's hard to find a reliable shop. Getting ready to take my vehicle back to him. Don't be afraid to let this shop work on your car!!!!

TLDR: New transmission needed 2,000 miles into a used car...We bought a used 2013 RAV4 with ~100,000 miles from McKinney's Honda down the street. Being an out-of-state buyer, we had them take the car to Deal's Automotive for a full car inspection before our purchase. We offered to pay them for a full inspection, they declined and did it for free. Deal's said the car was fine and good to go.Apparently it wasn't. Pretty sure they never looked at the car. The transmission fluid turned out to be black (it should be red) and had caused failure to begin in the transmission. 30 days and 2,000 miles later, we are having to replace the transmission.I would never take a car here again after missing a mistake like that.

Ok first reply is for sierra you just bought your honda used and brought it in for a skip .the person you bought it from cross threaded the third spark plug and cracked the porcelain. We tried for two hours to get it out and changed the other three and could not get the crossed one out and told you the head would have to come off to get it out i only charged you 45.00 because i felt bad that you had just gotten ripped off when you bought the car and this was the thanks we got your son stood there and watched us try to get it oit for a while before he left he knew what was going on.I guess you got ripped of because of karma because you must lie alot because your whole post is a lie and i do believe in karma maybe if you quit lying you want have such bad luck wish the best for you will say a prayer for you to change you ways. The next reply is for Christopher Waller .you worked at oriellly auto parts you diagnosed your waterpump being bad you bought your own parts which we installed correctly and I called you and let you know that your fan clutch had hit your radiator and told you we could try jb weld but there were no guarantees that it would hold in which you claimed my mechanic done it but you could visibly see that you fan had been rubbing the radiator .so being the good guy I am to try to keep a customer happy I got one of my suppliers to swap the radiator out for me so you wouldn't have to pay for the radiator because I spend 150,000.00 a year with these people she gave me the radiator and took yours as a trade so she had one to turn back in .which you were fine with.then you call me a year later saying your jeep is running hot and it was because the radiator but in fact you told me you took the fan and fan clutch off and put a straight fan on it without a fan clutch and you can't do that on these vehicles because it raises the rpms up and doesn't let the coolant circulate as fast as it should.not to mention it was a year later and I had already got you one free radiator .you just wanted something for nothing again .your the reason I don't try as hard to get my customers freebies like I used too .and as far as it being an expensive radiator like you said it was the factory radiator that was 12 years old and would bring no more than 20 dollars scrap and was traded to my supplier for a 135.00 radiator and can be confirmed if you call advance auto parts where the new radiator came from you are a sorry person for lying on here but that's all i have to say about it.again call any of my customers before you believe any of the things these two people say.I've been in business for 28 years and these are the only 2 bad reviews I've had in that time and karma has got them both and I do pray for the both of them .thanks for reading this reply

Honest work. They have on multiple occasions fixed my vehicles and have always been straight forward. Very busy at times, causes customer service to be almost nonexistent but when you do get ahold of someone they are very nice.

They punctured my copper 3 row radiator while replacing the water pump and then tried to use household epoxy to close the hole before I showed up at the shop, They followed by trying to explain how my copper radiator was about to start leaking (any mechanic knows you have to weld/solder the hole if you are repairing copper radiators). They also used water and not radiator fluid in my newly installed radiator (that's not good and everyone knows that).Next they replace my $280 (worth the wait in copper even broken) radiator with an aluminum radiator that they can not supply a part number or receipt for. I found the newly installed radiator and its $68 radiator that is a 1 row, 25% smaller radiator that belongs in a 4 cylinder not a 318, V8, AWD.He supplied me with no paper work and therefor I can prove nothing but I had a 2 ASE certified mechanics that know my vehicle before and after Deals who confirmed everything stated. When confronted with this information David (Deals Auto's owner yelled at me saying he doesn't need to listen to some shady mechanics - watch out dealerships your mechanics are now shade-tree mechanics certifications means nothing now). They also changed my oil with 20-50 when I brought them 10-30, however, told me to drive off before putting the oil in the vehicle. I stopped and immediately turned it off before I left the bay and said,"did you put the oil in it?", "the mechanic laughed saying,"my bad, i forgot".They also changed my ignition coil with a used coils they had around the shop and charged me $54 saying that they were giving me a deal. I bought a new MSD performance ignition coil for under $45 at the local parts store when their "New coil" failed.Lastly they "replaced my gear fluids and automatic trans fluid". Here is the kicker, my trans pan started leaking due to over tightening and not using a criss-cross pattern like any real mechanic knows. They used MERC in my gears and 60-90 gear oil in my trans. These are words from those so called ASE-Shade-Tree-Mechanics.After everything is said and done I am out around $2000 an almost ruined (mechanically) rare Jeep Wagoneer. Thank God for those Shade-Mechanics with certifications fixing our cars at dealerships for over 20 years. I am not slandering Deals automotive I am simply stating what happened. Deals Automotive in Lowell will not except responsibility for the faults they made with my vehicle and now I have to pay for taking it to them.Take it to Deals Auto in Lowell, NC at your own risk.
