This has been a long over due review for Lexington Mower Service. I have had a hard time getting good dealer support for my mahindra tractor and I ended up calling a dealer 3 hrs or so away in my search for a answer to something I was dealing with. Daniel Ferber answered the phone and worked with me through the whole process. He answered all the questions I had at the time and had to do some digging in regard to part numbers that I needed. He responded promptly by email with the exact part numbers for me to move forward with. Daniel provided excellent customer service with a great attitude! I would highly recommend this business. Thank you.

Ran out of gas on the 4 lane trying to get that extra 1/2 mile in lol. Walked into their store and explained the situation. The guy at the counter gave me a gallon of gas and even after I offered to pay him double the current price of gas for the gallon. He refused! Totally awesome people and I will definitely give yall my buisness when I need servicing!

Many Thanks to Tony and crew for fixing my 24 year old Husqvarna BZ zero turn mower. I bought it from David new and it has been maintained by Lexington mower over the years. I've had nothing but good service from them. Thanks to everyone at Lexington Mower Service!

Was in the process to buy a trailer from these folks, the guy gave me a price, I said ok for that price when we went to the Computer started with my info, the price was $150 more than what he told me. So I took my Money and left. This is not a bash on the folks at Lexington mowers, they seem like nice enough folks. But I feel as tho they need to more up to date with there price list, if they say a price, it should be the price they say.

Mower went here for deck cable replacement. They called me with a bunch of excuses about the motor and the carberator not working which I specifically told them to not mess with at all. The lazy service manager Tony found out I called the Salisbury store asking about it. Tony got so angry about it that he refused to work on my mower. It was just a deck cable dude......... really?

Our sales guy was great... He came out on the floor and ask if there was anything he could help us with. During the application he talked the whole time and was very friendly. He does great at what he does. Very comfortable with him . thanks Lexington mower service. We purchased the toro Commerical mower.

I purchased a Zero Turn Mower , from this company via Ebay. I was a bit nervous at dealing with a company 1000+ miles away ( I am in Oklahoma City) . The communications were great. I was even told to be sure to inspect prior to signing the delivery slip.I got a great deal from a company that does more than just take your money. I would recommend them in a minute.

I have to give my greatest appreciation to Chris and his wonderful staff! From the first time I called in and spoke to Morgan about a purchase until I picked up my new Farris 2100 and Tony did a full detailed walk around on the unit, I could not be more pleased! These guys know there product and not once did I feel uneasy. If you are in the market for lawn equipment, do yourself a favor and go see these guys!!! Absolutely professional from beginning to end. Thanks so much!Brandon Widener

Called a 4pm to asked when would they have time to fix a front tire on a zero turn mower and the guy said give me your name and number and he would call back in a few minutes. But guess what he never did. So we drive all the way to Salisbury to get real customer service done right.

While I can appreciate that others have had very positive experiences with Lexington Mower, my experience has been exactly the opposite.I brought in a leaf blower to be repaired on September 24th. As it is today November 9th, and having just called them to hear that they still haven't gotten to fixing it yet, I can't say anything very good about them.Certainly I recognize that it sometimes takes some time to get parts, etc. But when I called two weeks ago, I was told that they were waiting on a filter and filter cover. When I called today, I was told the same thing. The man on the phone said, "well, it usually takes longer for that brand." When I asked him how long it typically takes, he asked me to wait a moment. Then said, "I had to check to see the brand that you brought in." So in essence, he was just feeding me a lot of B.S. since he had no idea what brand I had, and therefore no idea how long it would normally take.I agree with the other reviewers here that they are at least courteous. I cannot, however, agree at all that they are a good place to bring a repair to.

I took a Craftsman riding mower in for service on a Monday because the drive belt kept breaking. The counter person said it would only take a few days, and they would give me a call when they found the problem. After paying a $60 deposit, and agreeing on some extra services, I left. That Thursday, I called and got the repair department. The person I talked with stated that they had not looked at it yet and said that it wouldn't be until the following week when they could get to it. Saturday morning, I arrived to get my mower and take it elsewhere. I stated to the counter person (the same one I initially spoke with) that I wanted a return on my deposit and would like to have the mower back. The counter person then produced a list of items that was needed on my mower. When asked about the reason on why the belts were breaking, they did not know. The people here are not very professional, and I would not recommend them to anyone. They also refused to return my deposit,

They are a bunch of rip offs I wouldn't recommend buying anything from them. I bought a brand new Husqvarna zero turn and weedeater from them last year and the mower and weedeater have already fallen apart. The mower has slung the blades off since it had around 15 hours on it and now it only has 80 something hours and they are trying to say that the deck spindles are broke and several other things. And they have never wanted to fix anything under warranty and now they want almost $600 to fix my mower. So definitely scammers and rip offs.

Ordered a mower from them over the phone, transaction and delivery to a local dock halfway across the country went smoothly, mower was crated well, only had to bolt on the seat. No concerns here. Emails prompt from Tina.

I took a carb in that needed an o-ring, the sales rep said it needs a special gasket and a o-ring wont work. So he sent me home to get the engine number. I brought the engine number back and they couldn't find the carb type by the engine code. So THEY sent me back to bring in the entire machine. I bring the machine in and the parts rep tells me he can't get the part and I would have to replace my entire engine..... what?... I need a simple O-ring for a carb, not an engine. Being new to the area this was the first attempt at doing business with them, and is the last attempt. I went over to the hardware store and purchased the O-ring for $1.29, the sales rep over at the hardware took less then 5 seconds to find the right O-ring.

I would pick another shop. These guys only care about selling you a lawnmower, and hope to never see you again. Here is my story. In April 2013, I went down to Lexington Mower Service for some kind of open house event. I ended up leaving with a Toro SS4235 zero turn lawnmower. Salesmen did give me a cheaper price than normal; but no one showed me how to operate the lawnmower or do anything except complete the transaction. When I got home, I had trouble cranking the lawnmower. The lawnmower would hesitate for a minute before it cranked. Being frustrated with spending a few thousand on a new lanwmower, only to bring it home with issues, I dealt with it for a year. The beginning of the following summer, I took the lawnmower up to a Toro dealer on the north side of Winston. He blamed the cranking issue on the battery and did not even want to take a look at my lawnmower. So, I hauled the lawnmower back home and replaced the battery. Go figure, I still had the same cranking hesitation. Again, I was frustrated, so finished the summer out dealing with the issue.Since my warranty was about to expire this year, I called Lexington Mower service. The initial comment I received was your valves need to be adjusted and its not under warranty, but bring it in. When I arrive, I get the same smart ass attitude I got on the phone about being a valve adjustment and if its not that, its a battery issue. I tried to explain to the gentleman that this issue had existed since the day I bought it. He didn t seem to believe me, and asked if my relatively clean and shiny lawnmower sat out in the rain. Albeit it was raining that day, any halfway intelligent person could see my lawnmower did not sit outside. I kind of felt like this guy was belittling me while I was trying to explain the issue. He did say they would take a look. So, I unloaded the lawnmower and left it with the guys. Almost two weeks later, I get a call from these guys saying the battery does not have enough cranking amps for this lawnmower (even though i replaced it with exact cranking amps). They also said that they adjusted my valves for my troubles. When I got to the shop to pick up the lawnmower, she cranked uo correctly. I did notice some puprle smoke coming from behind the seat. I noticed the muffler was damp and figured the mechanic spilled oil on the muffler while adjusting the valves. I thought I could have done a better job than that. Since the lawnmower cranked exactly like it was supposed to, I felt like they took care of me...sort of. When I got home, I unloaded the Iawnmower and put it back in the garage. A few days later, I noticed a huge pool of oil under my lawnmower. Frustrated at my troubles with this lanwmower and service, I called Lexington Mower Service blaming these guys for intentionaly causing problems. The guy obviously denied that they would ever practice business in that manner, but yet that was my initial thought after my whole customer experience. Due to a busy work schedule conflicting with their open hours, my dad took the lawnmower back to them. When he arrived, he couldn t figure something out on my lawnmower, and said the guys made him feel ignorant about it. He was very unimpressed with these guy s attitudes and said that he wanted to be the one to go get the lawnmower when it was fixed. When he picked the lawnmower up the last time, he called me on the way home and said he completely agreed with me that these guys were rude and unprofessional. Needless to say, neither of us will ever go back there again.Had I known what I knew now, I would have bought the lawnmower from Home Depot and not even dealt with a shop. I bought from a shop in case I needed warranty work. Well, we see how painful and demeaning that was. I can t vouch for Forsyth Mower, but I was deeply disappointed with Lexington Mower Service and the other guy on the North side of town.I did give these guys a 2 star only because they adjusted the valves for free.

I had a very good experience purchasing a Husqvarna PZ-T 54 zero turn mower from Lexington Mower. The price was the best in the area by more than $800. I live forty miles away but chose Lexington Mower because of the customer service talking with the salesman over the phone. They have a new customer in me. Thank You Lexington Mower.

Best price in central NC on husqvarna mz series zero turns. Morgan made the process quick and easy, mowers were ready to go when I arrived. I'll buy all my Husqvarna gear from here going forward.

Today we went to Lexington Mower Services looking for a new Toro zero turn. My husband had already done a lot of research and been approved for financing for a Toro through Toro, so we pretty much were there ready to buy. When he walked in he told the guy working that he was there to check out their Toro zero turns, and the guy was really short with him and not helpful. He asked a few more questions to see if they had what we wanted in stock, same short, uninterested answers. Rude to say the least. No problem, we are now at Teddler Farm Equipment buying a new mower. Their loss.
