While waiting in the Auto Zone parking lot for AAA to send a tow truck, which never happened, the personnel here treated my wife and I very cordial, even coming out to check on us and running a free diagnostic for code issues. It does get any better for this kind of service.

I went to get a portable air pump for my car tires. The associate was friendly and helpful. The price was resonably priced for the pump that has a digital reader. In fact, it was the lowest price out of the competitors.

If I could leave zero stars I would, I literally walked in this store at 8:50 this morning asked the guy about checking my check engine light this man rolled his eyes. I blatantly told him if you don t like your job you shouldn t be in customer service. You can t work customer service and be rude to customers. I walked out of that store and went all the way to the Shelby Location and had not one issue with customer service.

pulled up and one of the staff was smoking a bowl in the parking lot i decided to sit in the car while my boyfrien went in and she immediately started flirting with him wich was unprofessional so i went out of the car and went in and she was rude to me when helping us at the counter. i didnt like her tone and i asked for a manager and she said she was a manager and then told me to leave we wont be shopping here again esp. not if the staff does drugs openly and is rude

Horrible service!!! Orielly's is 1.5 miles down the road. They gave us 5 star service. They are extremely lazy at this Autozone. They refused to come check my codes for my engine light just cuz we had to park next to walgreens due to having a 30ft RV that we could not park in there parking lot. All they had to do was walk a little further and checking codes takes 2 min. DONT GO HERE!!!! GO TO ORIELLY'S RIGHT DOWN THE STREET THEY HAVE WAY BETTER SERVICE

Excellent customer service! This is definitely the place to go to! I originally went to advance auto across the street. Where I was told my Battery and Alternator was going dead and I needed to park the car immediately. Before I could leave the parking lot my car shut down. Advance Auto wouldn t even give me another jump. I decided to go get help from Auto Zone! Best decision I ve made for the day. Service Rep. Ryan was nice enough to go across the street to advance auto to change my battery and also do another alternator check. I m very grateful for the customer service at this store! Please go visit!

Guess because I am a woman the guys working chose to ignore my presence never greeted never acknowledged or asked if I needed help or nothing. Walked to the counter had a couple questions about the wipers I purchased but he was in a hurry just to check me out did not even offer to install which I can do on my own but just the principle of the matter, no thanks and have a nice day or nothing, but did make sure to greet the older gentleman and try to assist them when they walked in. Will not bring my business back to this store until better customer oriented service is hired.

Terrible experience! I went in the other night and needed to speak to a manager, except she was nowhere to be found. I had to wait for the cashier to track her down, which he seemed really annoyed by. Also, neither one of them had on a mask, and both seemed annoyed that I was even there. I will never shop at this location again!

Needed a windshield wiper while driving home as mine broke during a pouring rain and I couldn't see. Stopped here at 10 min til closing time and door was already locked. Noone came to door or answered the phone.

I need a low beam headlight and a high beam light had went passed this auto zone went all the way to the Shelby NC auto zone (thinking when I buy the light at AutoZone they will install it for me) I only had $31 a bought one light for $12.00 just to get told they don't install, but a Rep name Jonathan told me to go to a place down from pizza hut. So I get to this place asking if they can install it, and they then sent me to there other shop about 3 miles down from Burger King and get their wait 30 min to tell me they will charge $30 to put in a headlight bulb, I told them thats to much .when I really didn't have (thank god)it left there and call Gastonia store to get told on the phone they can't because "they not fin to be out there all day taking my car apart" and I told him what kinda car I had the make and model .So I call this auto zone and Lulu answered the phone I said I have been giving the run around but LuLu insist I come to the store and when I got there I told the guy I bought this for the auto zone and ask if they can install it and he tried but his hand was to big so he said he will get LuLu out here to finish it for me and Lulu did it check it and it was my hight beam headlight bulb I needed to so Lulu went in got the light bulb and some gel to put that in for me too Thanks Lulu and the other young man I didn't get to get he's name but they all made my day and customer service was pleasent and they really care about there customer and the service for them they need a raise in more it was my first time visiting this store I will definitely be back Thanks again LuLu and auto zone teammates

4.7 stars. 0.3 taken off for issue below. (Up from previous 1 star)When we showed up they were super helpful. Not everyone there was knowledgable enough to help, but when the first person was stumped he was humble enough to ask for assistance. The second person who tried to diagnose our problem was great as well. He even got under the car and tried to diagnose the problem.Great and nice staff! Just not great at answering the phone.From earlier:I called, they put me on hold for 5 mins. I called back, no response. I called again. No response.10 rings each time.All I wanted to do is confirm how late they were open.

Michael Godwin was at the right place at the right time. I needed a battery and alternator for my Honda Civic. I purchased them and he installed both in the parking lot for me in about 30-45 minutes time. He was great!

THANK YOU AUTO ZONE for hiring females! Especially employees you don t have to search for to help you like the Advance Auto up the road. The girls here on 10/29/2020 were MORE than glad to help me find the fuse I needed. They also helped me with finding the windshield washer fluid, oil, & antifreeze. Great staff, WAY BETTER PRICES, and will be using AUTO ZONE INSTEAD of ADV AUTO!!!!!!

I want to give a huge shoutout to Josh! I came in trying to figure out what was wrong with my right turn signal bulb & he was MORE than helpful. He came out and took a look, and was able to get it back working without me having to buy another bulb. I would definitely recommend anyone to this Autozone. Once again, thank you Josh for your kind and prompt service!

My husband purchased a battery at this location for our Lexus sedan on December 29th. They installed it for us and yet, we were still having some issues. I went today, Saturday, December 31st, to the store and spoke to John. All I can say is, that we will continue to use this store. John was kind and very understanding and did his best to make a bad situation so much better. These guys are honest and they truly want their customers to be happy and satisfied. I can attest that we are true satisfied customers who will continue to go to Auto Zone in Kings Mountain, NC before ever going anywhere else. Their staff, especially John, are outstanding.

Used to work here most customers were good people some thought you could read minds though even some saying entirely wrong part then blame us...Staff was decent we all worked hard to help customers to best we can but also remember this is NOT a mechanical shop just because its sold doesnt mean insurance covered us installing it.pay was low though other than that not too bad experience working there

I went to auto zone before not this one. N swore never go back had really bad experience. But this auto zone was great.. She was awesome n she helped us majorly.. 90 degree weather had no trouble coming outside help us with battery...THANK YOU MISSY.

If you are a shop do not order from these people. Takes forever and a day to get a part and God help you if they have to order a part from their warehouse, you might see it in 2 days. I've dealt with many autozones and this one is by far the worst I've ever encountered.

Not only did the guy at the Auto Zone look up the tail light assembly that I needed to purchase but he also worked on my car and installed it on my own car for free. The other places that I got quoted a price for was from $ 150.oo / $ 250.00 for the very same part and installation. They sold it to me and put it own for free and all it cost me was $ 95.00 total. I will continue to go there first with any other problems that I have.

Most time they have your parts in if they don't it don't take them long to get it you can get points on your card to save you money that's where I get my new parts for sure. Their batteries are cheaper and most everything else is cheaper too.
