I've been going to get service and oil change here for years, at least 6 years. I always felt that they did right by me and I've always been treated with kindness. I am a female which sometimes being a female you don't know places to trust because they feel like females know less about cars. I know quite a bit, but unfortunately I can't do my own basic maintenance on my car.5 days ago after getting my oil changed here I found out some things. I want to add that my vehicle is 6 years old and with only 84,000 miles. Always timely oil changes, change of tires, up keep is done.I came in for my normal oil change and left pleased. I had confidence that the oil was changed, new oil filter, full service as always.The very next morning, I heard knocking in my car, and as I drive it, it got louder and then lost power and knocking grew louder and completely stopped. After I had it towed to a mechanic they said it sounds like the motor was gone. They pulled out the oil stick and showed that the oil was added not changed. Not even the filter was taken off. On my car you have your pull off a cover to get to the oil filter. Not touched. So basically the oil poured over into the PVC/motor and flooded it.After showing Mac that the oil was not changed and he told me that he would go get my car. He didn't. Then after going over there and confronting him about it, he said he'd send a tow truck then after that still waiting, he told the tow that I'd have to pay for it.There is no responsibility being taken. Them not doing proper oil changes, the oil came out so thick and had pieces of metal in it, due to not being changed. This is the place I was going to faithfully. Also, Car fax reports do not lie. They list all work done to your vehicle, by VIN number. Each place you have it serviced at, has to enter that in the system. Every oil change I've had every 3 to 4,000 miles for the past 6 years has been at Havoline Xpress.Proceed with caution is all I can say.Mac keeps beating around the bush. A true Wolf in sheep's clothing. I recommend that if you go go there that you definitely check behind them before you leave the premises. Especially if it's an oil change

I went to Havoline Xpress Lube for a basic oil change on a Friday. Immediately after leaving, my car had white smoke billowing out of the exhaust. I called Mac and was told they topped off the coolant and it was probably burning off. (I may be female but I even know that that should not cause white smoke to billow out of the exhaust). My car continued to have white smoke billing out of the exhaust all weekend so I took it to the dealership on Monday. Come to find out, the reason for the white smoke was that Havoline did not drain my old oil before adding new. My car had almost 12 quarts of oil in it and was burning it everywhere!! Luckily (and hopefully), no other damage was done as I caught it in time. I then called Havoline and was told Mac (owner) would call me back. He never did, so after many repeated calls, Mac finally answered the phone. He stated he would reimburse for the correct oil change I received at the dealership. He did not apologize nor take ownership of their mistake, and was extremely rude. I will never go back to this place, never ever!

Always great service! Mr. Allen is a wealth of knowledge and has informed me several times of things that would have cost me a small fortune at a dealership. He offers much more than just a quick oil change, including a state-of-the-art car wash (with a personal pre-wash), detailing, and a shop that can handle more serious issues. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Called beforehand to ensure they were able to do an inspection for me. The man said yes, there s one in at the moment but can do mine in 30 minutes. So I drove there in 15 and then got hit with it would be 3-4 hours. I said what happened to 30 minutes? Well, we re too busy. How about well, don t tell customers one thing and do the opposite with a disrespectful attitude.

MISTREATEDI had an oil change in June,They broke a piece off my car but said they would fix it. I called him every week from June to October and every week he said the replacemet part was coming. I finally took my car somewhere else, got an estimate and they refused to for the damage. To be clear, they did not fix the damage over a 5 month span and refused to pay to have it fixed. Just from an oil change!!!! They neglected to tighten bolts on the belly pan..Run! don't walk away from these guys

Went today to change oil. The price board in the waiting area says $30.99 for regular oil change, which I get. They finally got my oil changed and when I went to pay, was charged $40.99. Was told the board was outdated and they went up on price. Well Mac(the owner) you just lost my other vehicles and also my son's vehicles. Not a pleasure doing business with you anymore. . Plus you are such a grouch. Done with you forever plus I will let my friends know.

I went here because the ad that they put into the newspaper stated you could get $20 off the price of an oil change at their location by going to the stated website to get a unique discount code. I followed these steps. I told them when I arrived I wanted an oil change and I had gotten a discount code for it. They changed the oil with synthetic, as I requested, and then gave me a price of $72.92. I told them I had a discount code for $20 off and they refused to honor it. They told me that I had to get the oil change first, go home and get a code from the website and then when I came back next time I could get a discount. The owner and the manager were both there and said they wouldn't accept the discount. I read the email with the code and the ad to them right there, but they flatly refused. The owner walked out. I said that they were wasting money with these ads and they said they get a lot of business from them. I said I guess because you are scamming people for $20. The manager just smirked. I will never be back.

Changed ownership. It's not a good experience. Might take them a while to get going. Only 2 people working, not the employees' fault, they were very nice.

The staff is homophobic and not afraid to show it. I had a sticker on my car that states "Protect Trans Youth" and when they did my oil change they tried to scrape it off. They have no right to mess with anyone's bumper stickers.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Had routine service there and I believe they did better than the dealer. My brake sometimes had a noise. Dealer said it was normal, unless I really wanted to figure out I had to pay for the extra work. I realize the noise was gone after I had service there. They even cleaned the floor mat! Btw I am a young female knows nothing about mechanics, the staffs are very professional and respectful.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Very disappointed that we took my car here to get the ac fixed and the mechanic in the back misdiagnosed the problem and charged us $300 for something that did not fix it.. the car was returned to us with still no ac working.. when my husband asked why he thought that was the problem he literally said he guessed. We are out $300 and I m really upset about it! We ended up taking it to the dealership and got it fixed properly. I am extremely disappointed in this place.Service: Air conditioning

I came in to get an oil change and tire rotation for my wife's vehicle. I walked in and stood at the front desk for about 5 mins before the older gentleman recognized a customer was at the front. Ok 5 mins, I will give them a pass. I tell him what service I needed which was an oil change and tire rotation. He tells me they can't do the tire rotation because it's raining..ok I thought to myself. I gave them a pass once again. Then he proceeds to take my keys and he walks to the garage. He didn't get any of my information or anything. I'm just standing at the front desk for 15 mins almost waiting to see if he needed anything else. The man says nothing to me and starts checking another customer out. The absolutly worst customer service. He is not doing me any free favors. I'm paying for the service and the service is horrible.Service: Oil change

I went here asking for service on my car. I was promised an appointment. The morning I went for my appointment that he made for me, owner said he was sorry they didn't have time to do the work on my car until next week. He should have not gave me an appointment if he had no intention of fixing my car. I really think he wants only "easy" to do work. I went to another shop and got it fixed.

Service was fast and courteous. They asked before doing additional services and made it clear they were optional. Price was on par with most oil changes in the area ($30.99 was their standard price at this time). Needed a quick oil change while I was working and they did so as well as a few extra courtesy services like vacuuming the carpets.Went back recently, service was fast even though it didn't go well for me (issue with my car not them)

This shop is horrible, horrible communication skills, the mechanics in the rear garage seems inexperienced. Took my vehicle to them for overheating problem, THEY HAD MY VEHICLE IN THEIR POSSESSION FOR OVER THREE WEEKS AND THE PROBLEM WAS NOT FIXED. Paid two separate bills totaling $1500 only for my vehicle to returned to me IN MUCH WORSE CONDITION, it cutoff on me at everytime my vehicle came to a stop. The shop tried to charge me $500 more dollars for the same problem. DO NOT COME TO THIS SHOP FOR MAJOR REPAIRS

The people and service are just incredible. I purchased a set of tire for one of my work vans there recently and the value was excellent. They showed great care to my van and had us in and out within couple of hours, and that was with changing all tires, plus an oil change. It is clear that the owner of this location knows what it takes to achieve customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend to all my friends and family, and will continue using for all my automotive needs. GREAT JOB!!!!!!

Very quick and knowledged. Mr. Allen , the owner, keeps tabs on every single car that comes in for service, I liked that. The technicians are courteous and take time to converse with your service taking place. I have had 4 cars serviced there with no problems. They have very fair prices and a clean business.
