Excellent service and fair pricing! I see a lot of people giving this company a bad wrap for their towing service and wanted to give them credit where it was due. I have taken multiple vehicles for my business to this location for service and the service has always been professional, quick, and at a fair price. People are rating this business when they are towed from the housing parking in which they live. If that is the case then rate the housing company where you live. They are the ones that contracted to have your vehicles towed and this company is going by the rules in which your apartments have set for them. I am appalled to see that people who go to college and their parents could be so naive to not know the difference or be able to read signage that is clearly marked in photos from previous reviews. Just to set the record straight their towing service is fast, knowledgeable, and reliable as well.

The people working here are extremely disrespectful and prey on college kids to pocket extra money for themselves. Had a friend meeting me at my apartment to go grab dinner. Her car was parked there for 10 MINUTES! Just so she could come inside to change before dinner. As we walked outside a tow truck was already hooking up her car. The man was extremely rude. Where else was she to park!?!? Especially considering my apartment complex only offers 5 overnight passes a day!! It s extremely difficult to get one. Her car was not staying over night in the first place!!!! We tried to explain that her car was only there for ten minutes so she could come inside real quick before we left. He would not listen to us and continued to accuse us of lying. Had to pay him a $100 just to drop the car. I would not recommend this company to anyone. His plate number is below.. do with that what you will.

Worst experience I have ever had with a towing company, the driver preys on college students. They only accept cash and are definitely committing tax fraud. If I could give zero stars I would. The driver threatened me physically and entrapped my car till the police arrived. Do not use their services!!!!!!!!!!

Had a frustrating experience with this tow company. My son's car was towed from the Jolly Roger lot even though he has a Jolly pass. He had to park in the visitor's area for a short time because he forgot his gate key. The company showed no understanding of the situation and insisted on cash payment only. Seems more focused on making money than customer service.

Predatory towing and price gouging. I moved my car for two hours because my parking lot was flooded to the point that it was up to the windshields on some cars. When I went to move it back it was already towed and they tried to charge me $260 which is over what their sign says, which is illegal in NC. If you re parking lot uses them, it d be in your best interest to find somewhere else.

Predatory Towing Champions Here!!! They are thieves in broad daylight. They target college students and the teens around the campus. My main complaint is the nasty language and unprofessional attitude of at least this driver (pictured). I would like to see a criminal records check on the employees of this company. The hiring standards appear to be very low. This company does not live the value of Eastern Carolina.

Team there is fair and exhibits a sense of urgency. Been using their services for a couple of decades now even though traffic makes it a pain to get in and out.

Avoid Plaza Auto Care: A College Student's NightmareIf I could give zero stars, I would. Plaza Auto Care is a predatory towing company that exploits college students with their outrageous $250 towing fees and unreliable service. The Bad- High Fees: Charging $250 for a tow is extortionate, especially for financially-strapped college students.- Unreliable: After paying, the person responsible for releasing my car was late, adding to the overall negative experience of the situation if that could be possible.- Predatory Practices: They target areas near campus and tow cars quickly, often where signage is unclear.- No License Plate Cross-Referencing: They don't even bother to cross-reference license plates to check if tenants have a legal right to park, leading to wrongful towing.Final ThoughtsSteer clear of Plaza Auto Care. Their unethical practices and exorbitant fees are a disservice to the college community. Boycott this business!

STAY AWAY. These guys literally make money from taking college students cars. I had my car parked there once when I was helping my friend unload groceries and then when I went to visit him. both time my car gets towed and then they want to charge an absurd amount in only cash. It s obvious they can t fix cars and only make money towing.

I parked my rental car in my parking spot (THAT I PAY FOR) to walk to the office to get a parking pass for the car. In the time that I walked from my car to the office and back, my car was towed. I live in student living and pay for my one particular parking spot. This is the only company that is able to tow in the complex. I have called them a dozen times previously trying to get them to tow other cars out of my one parking spot that I m allowed to park in. In that case they fail to answer, or it takes them 45 minutes to an hour to respond to get the car towed out of my spot. I called when I realized that they had wrongfully towed my rental car. I tried to explain the situation to the lady on the phone and she had nothing but an attitude and no sympathy whatsoever. It was like her car had just been towed. She literally at one point told me to get an Uber to there to come pick up my car. I had to be at work in 20 minutes and had no time in between and no transportation to work I tried to explain everything and she was still rude to me on the phone. They then proceeded to charge me $150 in order to get my car back. I tried explaining that I hadn t even been in the parking spot 20 minutes before my car was already towed, yet it takes them hours whenever I call or they don t even answer the phone to respond to tell somebody else. They are not easy to work with, they are not kind, and have horrible customer service

As a single woman new to Greenville, with a 2005 vehicle, finding a reputable and affordable mechanic was a must. Of course my brakes started making noise shortly after I got here, I chose Plaza Auto because they had good reviews and we're close by. Let me just say I was beyond satisfied with every aspect of my repair service - completed the same day at a VERY fair price!! The guys are super nice, great customer service too! I'm relieved to have the card in my wallet. PS Don't pay attention to the negative tow reviews lol I've never seen anyone compliment an impound

IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE - STAY AWAY FROM PLAZAI wish there was an option for zero stars. I live at the Province Apartments, and I've been told multiple times that they are the only people that can tow off the Province property. More often than not I can't get a hold of them when I need someone towed out of my number spot, or I'm still waiting over an hour later for someone to show up. The two times they have towed a car, were times that I didn't need them to tow. The first was my boyfriends car out of my numbered spot, he had permission from my roommate to park there since she was out of town. We still had to pay $150 to get his car back. The second time, I came home from work at 9:30pm. It was dark and cold outside and a red SUV was in my spot. I called the number I was given by the Province three times and no answer. I left a message and drove around my building to find a general spot to park in - no luck so I parked in a numbered spot that was vacant and left a note in my back window with my number asking to call me instead of just taking my car. I come out of my apartment this morning and my car is gone. I call Plaza and explain the situation that I tried to contact them and I still have to pay to get my car back. You would think that a local place like this would give broke college students a break when they hear special situation like the ones I have, but no. Apparently they're just eager to squeeze $150 out of anyone they can.

Pathetic price gouging thugs. They were out preying on everyone who was from out of town. Lucky your driver didn't try me yesterday.

I love this place. I've been going to a particular mechanic that works here for over 10 years and I completely trust him. He has never BS'ed me. They do exactly what I ask them to and dont "scare" me by saying my vehicle is about to blow up if I dont buy parts that aren't bad, like most places do. Also, prices aren't terrible either. Oil change (synthetic) and inspection on my 2005 jeep was under $60. Good honest people. All of my immediate family go there as well.

Just called a couple times, I live at The Province Greenville apartments. I had no where to park because of people who don t pay to live here take our parking spaces. I called For towing services and the guy said I can t be helped and told me to stop calling. He was very snarky and rude. I have never experienced such disrespect. He hung up the phone on me. I will be taking this to anyone higher than this man on the phone. Thanks for no help.

Why is there no zero stars?? They towed our car from a place in town that we legally parked on. Didn't overstay, didn't use wrong parking spot, no expired tag, perfectly legal parking. When we asked they were showing us a picture for proof from a camera a blurry photo which was a sign of their company. Can you believe this? They could not come up with a real photo proof that we actually parked wrong. They know as well as we do that they towed us just to make a buck and that most people are not suing for the 150 dollars they charge for towing. Do you know how many people they tow illegally just to make extra money? I know, because I knew someone in the towing business. So they are strongly insisting that they don't have to proof anything. And I expected this answer. The driver and his boss were extremely rude and yelled at us. They said that either we pay or we have to leave without our car and if we keep talking that they will write a higher bill. All illegal and they know it. We called the police because we wanted to have someone from the law with us in this conversation. Of course I knew they don't have to show up because it's a civil matter. We still hoped though. So if you ever get towed, even though you are in the right, be assured you have only 2 choices: pay whatever they charge you or leave the car there and take them to small claims court. Remember the charges add up every they you leaving your car there. If I had funds to sue this shady business owner, I would make the biggest wave this Plaza Auto Care has ever seen. Not only do I feel that I have been taken advantage of by them but the treatment they gave us - considering the owner was there too - was unbelievable rude. Questionable business owners that behave in front of other customers like this, you know that they defend themselves and their shady business practices for a reason. It's not even the money they are taking from people but the getting away with it is so wrong.

Only takes cash for their TOW. @ 200/tow x 5 tows a day that's a lot of unreported IRS $. Pathetic business ethics of following kids around college parking lots. Easy money- Too easy IMO.

I am a student at ECU and my car began to act up on me. I decided to take it to Plaza Auto. They told me that it was fine that all that we needed to do is replace the time belt. Although the mechanic here was extremely nice to my family we had a unfortunate experience. We went to get a time belt replaced and we were told that the car not only needed a new time belt but a whole new motor. In total we were looking at spending about $3500 according to the mechanic at Plaza Auto. We were going to proceed with the process until we decided last minute to get it towed to my hometown. The mechanic back home a very well known friend of my family told us that they had just put on the time belt wrong. We were only charged $450 and my care now is working great! I was without a car for about 3 weeks due to this unfortunate event. I could have had my car a lot sooner if Plaza Auto would have known how to put a time belt on. All in all the people here were great just a bad experience.

Absolutely exceptional service. I've been experiencing a number of issues with my vehicle lately and was weary of sketchy auto shop business practices due to poor service and over-charged fees I experienced at different shops. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised to finally discover an auto shop with a strong sense of integrity.. something that is not so common, unfortunately - especially since I feel like an easy target given my lack of knowledge in general mechanics. Mr. Jeff and his crew don't just settle at minimal expectations to push through as many cars for more money - they consistently illustrate a solid code of ethics by going above and beyond to accommodate and build rapport with their clientele. Definitely recommend Plaza Auto Care

They get the job done. They always call you before they start working so that both you and the workers are on the same page regarding what will be done, what needs to be done, and estimated prices. The staff has been relatively the same for years.

Their 24 hour service line for tow doesn t work and they basically prey on college students. Why tow peoples cars within 10 minutes of them parking and not answer their calls at the number YOU PROVIDE??!??! How much lower can you get.

Had my car parked at a spot with an hour limit parking. Wasn t parked for more than an hour and 5 minutes at most & next thing I know my car is gone. Called for about 20 minutes until Will finally answered his phone. Told me that if I wanted to pick up my car that night he could give me a special for an extra $25 to get it that night. If not I had to wait the next morning to pay the $150. Seems sad that they have nothing better to do than lurk around college students cars to tow.

Took my honda there while in school during 2016 and 2017. First time there I got an oil change service. Very young man in the shop left my dipstick halfway out after he gave the car back to me. Good thing I always check behind people, not a big deal I know stuff happens. Next visit, got a AC compressor replaced. I brought them the part. After getting the car back a day or so later, i noticed the front splash guards (black plastic pieces in the fenders) were hanging down and hitting my tires, leaving big cuts, after driving home. I immediately went back and told the shop owner. He lied right to my face and said it was "already like that". I told him I had pictures to prove it from before, and he finally admitted they made a mistake, and replaced the splash guards. However, he bought aftermarket guards that didn't even fit right. Total sloppiness if you ask me. To top it all off, the employee who put my car back together didn't put the coolant reservoir back on its hanger, and literally just let it sit there, rattling around under the hood and spilling coolant. Can you be anymore unprofessional Plaza Auto Care? If you absolutely cannot figure something out, you can ask me. I would much rather have to show you how to do something simple than have to deal with the consequences of you not telling me about it. Time to go back to automotive school fellas! Not going back even for a safety inspection.

Do not use this company ever. They scammed me out of $180 and told me there was no manager available for me to talk to. They take advantage of college students and don t even try to offer assistance. And they are rude to women customers. I would avoid this place at all costs.
