I bought a car from Pirate Auto like 2 years ago... so that same car was in a accident so it was totally lost. SO I went back to Pirate Auto November 2023 to buy a truck so tell me the same week that I Purchase the truck the Motor went out on the truck... now here it is a new month and year I still don't have my truck back and they have not look at my truck... Told me I can come pick it up and take it somewhere to get it fix... I will not buy a vehicle from them again... it going on 3 months now

I took a used car I was considering purchasing here for a pre-purchase inspection. They told me everything looked good with the car and I paid around 100 bucks for them to look it over. 3 months later I realize I have been driving around with a missing lug nut on each wheel. This is very unsafe, a quick google search will show that a missing lug nut causes pressure on the other lug nut which causes them to loosen and the tire can fall off. This is something that should have been caught in the pre-purchase inspection and I'm wondering how good they even looked at the vehicle since they didn't catch this. This oversight could have killed me or my child.

Highly recommend this place! Especially as a college student. I had been struggling to get my hybrid fixed due to dealership mechanics not picking up phones or not calling in my warranty. Pirate auto outshines dealerships by miles! They picked up every call right away, friendly and quick staff. I had a vague idea about what was wrong with the car but These guys solved the issue and found another unseen issue. Even made sure to communicate before working on the car more. They called in my warranty in a snap when others had told me they were always on "hold" for hours. Cheaper than dealership mechanics. If you have a unique car make sure to check these guys out first since they work on a variety of cars! It's been 1 week and my car is doing great.

I love this place so much. I'm from a small town and this place just reminds me of home. The people are nice and welcoming and they don't look at you funny when you know you've asked a dumb question. It's not much to look at but honestly those are the best places to go to. I'm making this place my #1 spot for auto care.

I purchased a Ford 500 black from Bill Tripp and the Caucasian lady. Now this car was 4500 w finance company. Who goes along with them selling cars that are lemons instead of me calling an acting irate. I will review. He was in haste to get rid of this car I asked was there anything wrong with this car so we can get it fixed before we have. Mis hap being that my daughter and granddaughter will be using this vehicle He said he knew my grandmother Corrien so he knows. My daughter drove the car for a month and half then the car died wouldn't start at all. Now had to spend almost 800 bucks to fix the car the alternator was in a position where you had to take the engine apart to get to it and it was running off the battery but not getting the spark to run or start the car so when it was starting it was draining the battery. People they have all kinds of bandaids tricks and scans to get your money. be wary. just disappointed people can't be honest no more. These days we gone need each other more than ever. PeaceLady.

Hands down, one of the best mechanics in the Greenville area. Incredibly professional and informative, as well as reasonably priced. I ve had a slew of problems with my used BMW lately and time after time I go to Pirate Auto Care because they have always done right by me and gotten me back on the road as quickly as they can. Grateful for everyone there and the work they do.

I have been taking my vehicles to Pirate Auto for many years. Decided to put my thoughts in writing and post. Alvin and his son Ryan are always honest and they know how to fix vehicles. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing their care repaired. No hesitation. Repairs are reasonable. Tom

I was stranded in Greenville with my 3 year old Grandson due to my Starter failing on my vehicle. The AWESOME Fellas at Pirate Auto rescued us...they were friendly, honest, patient and immediately towed and repaired my vehicle the same day. I HIGHLY recommend them. Absolutely WONDERFUL!!!

After going through so many changes with other companies, pirates auto is hands down the best for insurance repairs, they repaired my car in timely matter and I m overall happy with the service they provided, I m always going to pirates auto for any future repairs.

I would definitely recommend Pirate Auto for your car care needs. My sons BMW needed a new water pump and Alvin and his crew got my sons car into the shop and repaired in a timely manner. The customer service was impeccable. Thank you Alvin! You will have our business again In the future if needed.

My spouse went to Pirate Autocare to get my brakes replaced a week ago. After making it all the way to Florida, my brakes started to make an odd clicking noise. This place gave me the worst mechanic experience, I told them my car isn t running right I need it checked out and I knew I needed break pads, I left my car for around 1 and a half hours and I came back my car was in the same spot untouched, with no work done to it and he told me he couldn t figure out the other problems because of the break pads being so bad and not being able to hear over the break pads. Then charged me thirty for labor when nothing was done to it. Where as when I went to Everett s in Greenville they did everything and more and said that I did not deserve that experience and found out all the problems with my car as well as fixed them for a decent price. 10/10 wouldn t recommend pirate mechanics.Service: Brakes

My son recently had to bring his car in to be worked on....goes to ECU but not familiar with the auto services in the town. We chose Pirate Auto by looking on the web. We were so happy with our experience and the way Alvin and others treated my son and me over the phone! We highly recommend this repair shop and would use again in a heartbeat!

The only recommendation I can give is to recommend you take your vehicle someplace else but not here. Replaced a window regulator on driver door of our BMW. Had to go back a day or two later after the car flooded on driver side from a rainstorm. Never had leaked before. In addition, the "mechanic"-and I use that word loosely, had broken the interior trim on BOTH front doors and the driver window did not even go all the way down after the "repairs". Obviously the brilliant individual that worked on our car had to take the passenger door apart to find out how to fix the driver door. Cost $320.00, two trips to them, and had to take the car to a different shop to get it fixed properly. Don't waste your time or money here. The individual that worked on our vehicle was obviously quite incompetent.

They have been my service center of choice for the past 3 years. I drive old beaters to and from work and occasionally need help from mechanics I trust - they've always been able to help me get back on the road. 2 Months back I took my Mercedes benz to get my A1 service done and also to change my key battery. when I got my car back I paid around 200$ in total in which 20$ for the Key battery. I see they dint change the battery they dint even fill air for all 4 tyres and on the top of that since that day I see check engine warning inside my car. I went to some service shop today and I paid 5$ for the key battery and its started working now. My humble request not to take your car for servicing here. After all its a minimum common sense to atleast fill air in the tyres when we give car for servicing. I will never visit this place again. Horrible car service ever.

Avoid! Dishonest & deceitful business. $106 for oil change & tire rotation and informed of this outrageous charge only after declaring they are unable to perform state inspection. They prey on out of town, college students. Avoid this place.

This shop took care of our working, college student, in a moment of despair. They were friendly, prompt, compassionate and reasonable! Communication was exceptional! They even gave her a student discount! Thank you guys! You truly are appreciated!!!!

I've been dealing with pirate Auto ever since I was 21 years old and to this day when I walk into that shop the father Alvin and his son treats me with respect and dignity they're always upfront and honest and getting right on the situation as a matter of fact I visit them three times in two months because of issues over a period of time that I have been putting off they replace a sunroof motor in my S550 Mercedes then they replace a emergency parking brake situation in my 750LI bmw although I had to take it back because it was a defective part nothing on their behalf though and they replaced it free of charge I can relate to any situation but a businessman such as myself you can't satisfy everybody but I can guarantee you this if you're looking for someone to get right on your vehicle and be honest and upfront this is the place to be or to go to I highly recommend this for my friends family and others those that have had bad experiences I wasn't there I can only go by what I've experienced with them great staff great group of people and most important just honest.

This company must be under new management because I will never return.. the first time I came I felt at ease.. service was terrible and I had to keep calling to ask if he called my warranty company.. I had to call my own warranty company.. my car still isn t fixed.. don t go unless u want a car that was the same when you took it there or worse.. and pay nothing more but labor fees and be out the pocket
