I took my car here a few months ago to repair damages from an accident as well as give me an estimate and diagnostic. They did all of that extremely quickly, reliably and in a professional but friendly manner. Everything they've done here has been incredibly timely and every one of the staff has been incredibly helpful and quick. Cant recommend this place enough.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Body & Trim

I was rear ended in my Camaro and my insurance recommended dun's body shop. The repair was completed rather quickly, and the quality of the repair was more than adequate, however when I received my Camaro back, the interior was atrocious with shoe scuffs all down the driver door. I'm editing this post because I hastily said things without checking my facts but the overall work was great! I just think it wouldn't have killed them to vacuum and hit the door with interior wipes that's all. To be honest not a bad service I'm just harshly critical and cantankerous Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I have a late model 1500 truck with aluminum panels. I managed to back into a mailbox while backing a boat. This was a different than normal repair requiring a different tool set. Rex didn t hesitate to invest in what he needed to fix my truck good as new. I have had the occasion to use his shop several times over the years and highly recommend them . The only place I've taken 5 vehicles since 2001 for body collision repair. If there's hidden damage they will find it and get insurance approval to fix it. The best quality work I've seen since I moved down from Ohio in 2000. A Nationwide Insurance preferred body shop. My recommendation to newcomers to Greenville NC and long time residents.Services: Body & Trim, Welding

Can't say enough good things about Dunn's Body Shop. After sustaining damage to the rear door and truck bed I was torn on where to get it repaired. I went to Dunn's to get an estimate of the damages because of the recommendation of a friend. The estimator was very friendly and knowledgeable and really made me feel good about the whole process and getting my truck repaired there. After talking with the estimator I learned Dunn's was a 3rd generation family business which really impressed me because of their length of time in business. I agreed to let them do the work and it was done in a very reasonable amount of time considering the damages. I am very detail oriented and have a very sharp eye but when I received my truck back I honestly could not tell it had ever been damaged. The body work and the paint was perfect and looked like new from the factory. Very satisfied and highly recommend Dunn's.

As a former Leo who changed careers and works in litigation involving auto accidents, I deal and have dealt with several auto body shop in the last 20 years. This one is by far one of the friendliest and most professional shops around. I take my personal car to this location as well as my friends do so well. If there is a negative, which I don't think is, they are extremely busy so it takes a little time to get an appointment. To me that means people agree it's a great shop. One other awesome thing, the give you a lifetime warranty on the work they completed.

I only had my car for three weeks before I was t-boned on the passenger side. I took my car to Dunn auto body and they did an amazing job! My brand new car still looks brand new and have had no issues. They took their time and paid attention to detail. I would definitely recommend them, and will go to them for any future car needs.

I would not recommend to anyone considering this place!I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for my car's body work, they called me the same day that they weren't sure if they can handle my car. After a 5 minute phone discussion the service manager called "Rick" said, OK we can do it, we will squeeze it in. 3 days prior to the scheduled day I called in to confirm the date/time but to my surprise the receptionist lady, who handles the booking/scheduling said my car is not even on the board.I stopped by in person within 5 minutes. The lady immediately told me that Rick left me a voicemail advising they will not do my car. I corrected her that he didn t leave a voicemail, instead I talked to Rick and he said he will take my car. I wanted to talk to Rick but he was on the phone. I asked if the parts have been ordered and she replied, no they have not because they only order the parts one week before the work is due to begin.I saw my insurance adjuster so I quickly went to talk to him about a few details. After 2 minutes chat I come out from his office to see that Rick, the service manager shut his door and the receptionist lady advised me that the gentleman next to her is the owner and he will talk to me. She starts out explaining that my car is delayed on the service because three technician quit yesterday. So I stop her and ask why she is saying it is delayed, when just 5 minutes ago she said she didn t even had my car scheduled. She starts to shake her head and gets angry and started to cut me off while I was still speaking. The owner had to stop her so I could. Then the owner said, some parts may have been ordered, but now he says because the technicians quit it may be 3 months delay before he can service my car because of those people who are in front of me.1) How does 3 days prior to the agreed scheduled time translate to 3 months when the guy who was in front of me and just walked in received an appointment for August, knowing they were down 3 people.2) If the car parts were ordered they clearly knew about my car s scheduled day3) If the car parts were not ordered they clearly did not have any intention to call me and let me know that they are cancelling the work order4) If there was an honest mistake they could have simply admit and make it right by putting me into the schedule and agreeing on a few days delay, due to their employees quitting clearly this did not happen and they have made the decision to keep lying. Conclusion: neither the owner, the service manager nor the scheduler/receptionist have a backbone. Do not expect anything good if you decide to leave your car with them.

My family has used Dunn's Body Shop for 3 major repairs and 1 minor repair on 3 different vehicles, and they have made them look brand new. One vehicle had major front end damage, and in a separate incident had major rear end damage. In both cases, the car looks and drives great. More recently, our SUV was T-boned and sideswiped the entire driver's side. Though it was in the shop for 6 weeks, my insurance agent's statement was, "I dare anyone to examine this vehicle to find any evidence of damage". We agree. Also, they put it on a frame rack to make sure the frame was square before proceeding to do the major repairs. No squeaks, all parts fit perfectly, and there was minimal use of body putty. Dunn employees were very willing to have me go back into the shop and inspect every step of the restoration process. I give them 5 stars in a 5-star rating.

This company is very quaint and busy in Greenville NC off from 10th Street . However, once the adjusters started doing the appraisal on my vehicle, what I experienced from this particular Indigenous Aboriginal gentleman were he was very thorough and on point in skills and knowledge. I will most definitely in any future mishaps be seeking this company help but even more this one whom helped me and my mother on her accident until your practice prove differently. I am very impressed with the time it takes with adjusting and getting that information back to my insurance company mind you Progressive Auto Insurance and the repair with May's Body shop located in Farmville NC . Great Professional Business People indeed!

Vehicle was damaged when Safelite replaced the windshield. They estimated 3 days (Mon Tues Wed) to repair the fenders that had minuscule damage where the windshield was pulled out. At the 3-day limit I called and was told that they had to do more body work and it would take an additional day. a rental was paid by the other company to be able to have my family vehicle replaced while this was being done. Which had to be returned on the final day but they never took the time to let me know it was going to take an additional day so the rental could be extended. I called up the following day and was rudely communicated by the receptionist as I was trying to explain the rental situation. The vehicle's going to take another day.

Let me start by saying the people at Dunn's are very friendly and made me feel they genuinely cared about my business. There were some missed deadlines but that's to be expected from time to time.I've had 2 vehicles worked on following accidents here. Typically the paint and body panels look great. They even popped out an extra dent for me at no cost. However, each time I work on my vehicles I find places where they cut corners or failed to pay attention to detail. Case in point, had a car which sustained damage to the undercarriage. I just spent an hour trying to get off a splash guard because many of the clips and much of the passenger-side splash guard were still damaged. This should have been a 10 minute job.Second experience. Took our SUV to them after being rear ended. Had to order a part because something in the rear latch system broke. No problem. New part came, works great. One problem though, there's now something ratteling around in my rear lift gate from the broken latch. Couple days after it came back, found a scratch that had gone untouched on the driver side rear quarter panel from the bumper being forced into the body. Perfectly matched the mark on the passenger side. Their answer was that insurance was not going to pay for it (not sure they ever tried to ask) and said it was from a previous accident despite the symmetry and clean freshly exposed metal. Their solution was touch up paint which is now chipping from the rust. Final issue I've noticed so far is the use of cheap license plate lights which clearly weren't OEM because they don't fit at all.All in all, my personal interaction was good. They're friendly people who I believe mean well most of the time. However, I get the impression they walk a fine line between keeping insurance happy to maintain contracts and keeping customers happy...and when its not a largely noticable issue, they'll side with the insurance rather than ensuring my car I'd back to 100%. That's the problem though, I pay insurance to have my car restored to pre-accident condition. I want the only evidence of my accident to be a Carfax and DMV report. This may be unrealistic but I'd like to believe there's a body shop out there that's on my side.

Dunn's Body Shop does good work. There farther Bill Dunn started the business in the 1960's and he did some Body work for me. Now his children run the company and still treat the customers fairly like there Dad did. I would recommend Dunn's body shop 100%.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

First off, let me say that I never write reviews but after my experience here, I felt I had to warn people about this business. I wish SO bad I could give this business a five star review because the work on my car was amazing! They did a great job! However, I gave this business one star because of the way I was treated. When I went to pick up my car, multiple problems occurred. First off, my car key was COMPLETELY bent almost to the point of being horizontal. My car would not even START and I had to go back into the business to get somebody to bend my key back into shape for it to even work. I then left the shop only to notice on the way home that my car had been completely gone through! At first, I didn't panic because I had taken all valuables out of my car before I took it in. Then to my horror, I remembered my mother had given me money when I went home right before I took my car in. I opened the center console and of course, the $20 was gone. Only a few random one dollar bills remained that I had long forgotten about in the bottom of the console. After calling my mother (ECU student here) she advised I go back and inform the owner of what all had gone on but adviced me to be (of course) kind and just bring it to her attention. I agreed, because if I were a business owner, I would want to know if one of my employees was taking things from my customers. Never once did I imply I wanted ANYTHING back from this business, only that I wanted to make it noted of what had happened. Upon arriving to the shop again, I found the woman up front to be the business owner and I explained my situation to her. She looked at my key and said it had "been brought to them that way" which is 100% not true. She said it looked fine, which it did NOT because even after the man bent it, it is STILL bent which is not good for the key itself! She then started my car serveral times and rudely told me it looked fine and that she didn't see what my problem was. I explained AGAIN that the man had already bent it back so of course it was. Now just all of this, I wouldn't even yet be writing this review. However the next conversation completely got me! She told me the money was probably blown out of my car by the jet they use to blow dust out of the car. WHAT? The jet blew the money out of my CLOSED center console? When I made this point to her, she got very upset and angry told me that "employees here don't steal" and that what I was telling her was a lie! I have NEVER been treated so rudely by a business in my entire life! Yes, it was my fault on the part of forgetting the money was in the car, but that does not excuse theft! Also, when I went to pick up my car, I found it completely unlocked out front where anybody could simply open my door and destroy my property. When I asked about this, the woman said the reason was because they thought if somebody wanted in your car, they would break your windows and do even more damage to your car, so it was better to leave the car unlocked. WHAT? So we should all just leave our cars unlocked so our windows won't get broken? No! Car locks are there to deter criminals because breaking into your window causes a huge scene! Like hello! I never once was rude to this women despite her being loud and rude with me! It is clearly a family business and the people that work on the cars are most likely her friends and family, so I get why she may have been in denial, but I have NO reason to take time out of my day to come back and make up some story, especially when I'm not asking for anything in return! I thought the owner might like to know, but apparently not. BE WARNED! They all seem so nice but they are not! If you leave anything even of the slightest value in your car, it will not come back to you with your car! I will never use Dunns again and support a business that treats its customers this way! So sad because the work they did on my car was beautiful! Shame on you Dunns, you had such potential to be my new go-to body shop. I will never take my car here again and would advise others not to as well!

Third visit, sadly, (different accidents, nothing to do with the shop, just an apparently cursed car) but each time they've been super friendly and knowledgeable. I used to work at a body shop so Im a bit harsher in my standards, and they surpass them every time

I wish I had read the reviews before taking my vehichle to Dunn's. I went with one problem and left with another. All I got was "Mam, we would not have done that". So where does that leave me. Mad and angry that I trusted Dunn's. Don t take your car there. Go somewhere honest!
