I got my Rav 4 repaired here in June 2022. A huge limb hit my hood and did extensive damage, so it had to be replaced. They had my car a month before they touched it for what was supposed to be a 2-week repair. Mary Rice got involved, and they fixed my car within a week. She even provided a rental, since mine had expired because they had my car so long.So, why am I just now writing a review? Because they rushed to fix it and did a poor job. Yesterday, I took my car to my mechanic because I discovered that water was leaking into the passenger floorboard. Guess why? Because Rice Collision did not plastic weld the cowl back around the windshield! My mechanic said it was just laying there, so water could enter the vent and run down into the floorboard. Guys, this is BASIC! You didn't put my car back together right, and I've been driving around like this for a year and a half!I had to pay $171 out of my own pocket to get this fixed yesterday, and that is a lot of money to me. What else wasn't fixed properly?Response back to owner: I had to pay for the diagnostic to find out what the problem was. They assumed it was a problem with the HVAC drain being blocked. They put the cost of the diagnostic towards the repair.

I have never had a problem with Toyota so far I think they were always on time responsive when I try to contact them if you want to go anywhere go to Toyota off of Joe Brown Road in Greensboro North Carolina they're great!

Will not recommend at all for any auto body work. Repeatedly moving delivery dates. Coming up with excuses each time. If you want a timely repair, look somewhere else.

I had to get paint work done for a warranty issue. It was recommended that I go here, and I am glad I did! I dropped off on a Wednesday and picked up on Friday and the car looked great! If you need something done for your Toyota, this is the place to go!

I had to return, they fixed bumper first and about a month later it bang peeling. I spoke with them on the phone and they had everything set up that was needed from me. I arrived and what was supposed to be 15-20 mins turned into an hour plus.Tom was very rude and took his time after me stating that I was on a time constraint.Everyone else outside of him was very pleasant and wouldn t mind dealing with them. But Tom I would choose not to deal with again.

DO NOT take your car here for repair. They are unresponsive, unhelpful, and dishonest. They wouldn t return calls and lied when I could finally get a response on the phone. Finally I drove over there (I m not in Greensboro) and even in person it was difficult to find out what was happening!! The office is complete chaos. Finally they said they couldn t look at it until it was emptied! No one EVER said a word and it had been sitting there for weeks. After almost a month of having my car they continued to add supplements to the claim. Even the adjuster was frustrated. At the end, it was totaled. What a disaster. If I could give a negative rating I would.

I had to take my car for repairs. They kept my car for two weeks when it was supposed to be a month. I went to pick up my car and they forgot to do the front bumper repairs. The repair body shop manager told me I was a liar and the repairs were done. He went outside to look at my car and obviously they hadn t fixed it. They kept my car for another day and when I went to pick it up. Instead of them replacing my bumper . They glued it together and you obviously can see the glue . I ll never go back again. It s ridiculous how I was treated and having to go through so much for repairs that were supposed to be done

Would not recommend. The repair was fine, and "Tracey" who works there was very sweet and helpful for my wife after the office staff were very unprofessional. The car repair was delayed (understandable given the supply line issues) but Amber Thorpe was unresponsive after committing to a deadline, and the manager Scott Simmons is insulting, rude and frankly tries to intimidate you if you ask for the customer feedback line. If my family had not been present Scott, you and I could have settled our differences in a whole different way sir. You just name the place and time and we can still do that.Avoid this place if you can.Service: Body & Trim

They ruined my windshield. They repaired my front end in 2020. Something was sprayed on the windshield while it was in their shop, leaving half the glass looking etched. I returned after I noticed it (took a day of driving to see the damage and another week to have the time to return). I was clear mistakes happen, but they happened here, and could you please repair it? They blamed the tow driver (he didn't spray anything on the glass), they blamed me (I'd been driving it after leaving the shop), they blamed the insurance company (insurance company should have told them the windshield needed repair-it didn't when it went to their shop). They refused to speak to me when I said I need this fixed. When I refused to leave, there was yelling and rudeness, which was startling because they were awesome until they were called on an error. I have tried acetone, glass cleaner, steel wool and magic erasers, and recently had a professional glass person look at it. The third party thinks it's clear coat/lacquer thinner and they couldn't get it off either. Rice used clear coat and a lacquer thinner during the repair.So. They ruined my windshield (these things happen), and won't take responsibility for it (this should not happen). Don't go there.And Rice, please stop sending me mail/email/calls. I'm not going back to your shop. I've been clear that your service is subpar and I don't want your trash.Service: Body & Trim

I tried typing out the whole situation, but there were to many words. Scott the manager of the collision center told myself as well the insurance adjuster that I was dealing with that the car was totalled. Two weeks later I get a call on a Friday afternoon that the car was not totalled. I had already purchased a new vehicle.I had to get a hold of the GM over Rice who did the fair thing and purchased my vehicle excuse me paid it off. I went down to the dealership signed paperwork so end of story no. I get a phone call from my financial institution saying that my car payment is late. I called the GM yet again. He calls be back later to tell me that the person who did my paperwork lost it..So I have to go back down there and sign the paperwork again. I was supposed to get weekly updates on the vehicle that was in the shop. I got two the second was letting me know that the car was almost complete just before they purchased my vehicle.The first time I dealt with the collision center I was pleased and left a wonderful review. This time I need to be heavily medicated...lol...not really a joke

They've had my wife's car 3 weeks now as of 2 days from now, and I can't speak to anyone who knows anything when I call nor will anyone call me back. All we have a link to click and see updates, that changes constantly. It said 9/15, then 9/22, now 9/24. It's going to be 22 days as of 9/24 for minor front end body repair, about a 2500 dollar job on a common black 2014 Toyota Corolla. They couldn't give an estimate of time when we dropped it off but never expected this. We keep making arrangements to pick up the car and keep having to change those arrangements as the delays continue. Terrible experience.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have never had a problem with Rice Collision Center until recently. I am not sure if there are new workers or new management, but my service this time his been HORRIBLE. I took my car in almost 2 weeks ago. For the 1st week I called at least 3 different times trying to get an update, and each time was promised that someone would call me back. It NEVER happened. I finally got a call yesterday from my car rental place wanting to get an update, so I reached out. The guy I spoke with said he thought my car was ready. I was confused as to how he didn't know for certain. Then he told me that the problem wasn't fixed with the sunroof. I asked were the other repairs made and again he told me he thought so. I tried to contact the manager twice today. This morning I was told he was in a meeting and I said that I would call back, because they don't have a good record of calling me back. I just tried to call again and was left on hold for 12 minutes until the phone shut off. I asked who could repair the sunroof and was advised to contact the dealer I purchased my car from. So my car has been in the shop for 13 days and the issue is still not corrected and they couldn't advise to as to where I could go. I surely hope no one else has to go through this. I expected better from RICE!

I took my car in to have my driver's side mirror repaired. Amber kept me apprised of everything that was going on. The repair work was done with quality, and they finished the job ahead of the projected time.

First of all I'd like to say that my truck was no gem to begin with but the way Rice Toyota Collision handled my repair after I hit a Deer and took it there for repair was horrible. First I was told that I would be updated on the progress of the truck. That didn't happen till the day before pick up. I was basically told by the receptionist that she thought someone else had called me half way through the repair to update me. Of course that never happened. The day I showed up to pick the truck up the receptionist was not very personable and was on the phone the whole time. She keep shuffling papers for me to sign and and basically told me I was good to go while she was on the phone. No one came out with me to look over my truck. I got to my truck and was less than impressed. There were runs in the paint, a trim piece that hadn't been replaced that was damaged, dust all in the interior of the vehicle, over spray on the step rail, and they left there trash in the tie down pocket. If my truck wasn't 13 years old and didn't have over 200,000 miles on it with some rust here and there I would be really pissed. Oh and don't count on the complementary car wash. Like I said my truck is no gem, but the lack of pride these people took in there work and customer service is just down right horrible. If I were you I would not trust these people with your repairs. I took my car to have a simple vendor job to be done in January 20th and it s now March 1st and I m just getting my car back. No one kept me in the loop about what was going on with my car!!! I made all the calls. And when I did get someone they acted as if I m the bother when I was the accident victim!!! TJ was rude and gave me the run a round. He kept telling me that my car was going to be ready on this and that day but it never was!!! I finally had to literally threatened them for a repair date!!! And today I finally got my car and TJ was supposed to call me to let me know that it was done but he didn t!!! I just took it upon myself to go up there and there my car sat parked and NO ONE was gonna call me!!! I didn t even want him to walk around me the care with me after the repairs were done because I was so disappointed with the customer service!!! Hopefully I ll NEVER have to have any collision work done but if I do I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND RICE TOYOTA COLLISION CENTER!!! Make sure you do your homework!!! Just because they have a reputable name don t mean that they are exceptional cause they WASNT!!!

Thank you for doing a great job repairing my RAV4. She looks and smells brand new. She was very clean and shiny when I picked her up. I appreciate you were very thorough in the walk around and explaining the work that was performed. Thank you for getting the job done ahead of time and for keeping me informed all along the way. Kayla thank you for putting up with me calling for updates and working with me to make sure all the T's were crossed and i's dotted.

I drove 30 minutes for them to take pictures of my vehicle and sent me an email with a price that was double everyone else!I could have sent the pictures and saved an hour drive for that ridiculous price. Beware

Tech guy was good however didn't really solve my paint issue on the hood for a 2020 Highlander....had to call Toyota and set up a RAS claim but of course no recall for my color paint....if you have other issues with paint on this model it very well could be same issue with my color as well

I have to say the work that was done was good. A lot of miscommunication though between estimator reps.. They should do a better job on communicating with the costumers.. There one shining star they have is there Receptionist Kummel. I'm not sure if I spelled that correctly or not but she's the only reason I didn't lose my mind.

Excellent service. Had a taillight assembly replaced on a 2013 Prius Two. Quoted a price over the phone was exactly what I paid. The office staff were very helpful and courteous, even offered me an office to work in. They have my future business.

This has not been a good experience. First I was told the car would be ready on Friday. Then I was told the parts weren't in they were waiting on them to be delivered by NAPA and they didnt have the parts in. Googled NAPA and looked up the items needed and they had the parts. When I mentioned that NAPA had the parts I was told I'll call you back. When vehicle was finally ready for pick up had to take it right back. Sounded like something was rubbing against something and it was pulling to the left. The person I needed to speak with was called down to discuss the issue. Instead of the person listening to what the issues were they said they needed to call the insurance company. This not an insurance issue it's a mechanical issue. Supposedly it will be looked at tomorrow by the mechanic that was already gone for the day. Let's see what happens then....To be continued......Got the truck back. They fixed the noise the wheel was making...He got the alignment back to the correct specs...if there is ever a next time will find another collision shop

No call prior to pickup to advise of any additional charges. Insurance was filed after I asked them not to. After several attempts for them to correct this it was never resolved which will result in my insurance going up even more. No follow up after that was promised as well. Even 2 emails to Mary Rice and no follow up to that either. I guess they treat you right to get your business but not once they have your business.And still no response as promised below.A year later and no return call was ever made, but they sure can call for service suggestions.

As in any service related industry "service" is the key word. Terrible customer service, no follow ups, no return calls or return emails.... and that's after going in as a cash paying potential client earnestly seeking to get minor work done. (Quoted @ $1,500.00) P.S. I don't need a fake follow up response to this email... *If you're from Rice, retrain, refocus & pay it forward to next person

There were a couple issues but Rice pulled through and took good care of my car and it came out looking brand new. I appreciate the effort they put in to making things right with my car.[Edit:] A month later I'm in a hit and run accident. Not my fault. My car had been hit before from behind on the driver side which posed to be a pain to deal with while I was just hit on the passenger side. Though it took about 3 weeks or so to fix, Mitch and his team worked their butts off to try and put my car back together. The fitment is just a tiny bit off, but it isn't noticable to anyone unless they're looking for it.I appreciate the extra time they took to try and make it look as good as new, though it has been in 3 accidents now. I may have bad luck but st least Rice is there to try and fix it when it strikes again!

Took 4 weeks for a repair that was quoted to be 8 days. Kept having to call for updates myself to get any answers as to what was going on. At no point did anyone seem overly concerned or that this was anything more than business as normal. Definitely won't get anymore of my business and wouldn't recommend to anyone else

After suffering $2300 damage to my 2013 Ford Edge I chose Rice to entrust my baby to. Their attention to my needs was great. I met with Ms. Walker who wrote the estimate, we set a date, I dropped my car off, they had a shuttle driver take me home, and 3 days later I picked up my Edge. I have to say I was very impressed with their work.It's been many moons since I've had an accident, and I hope I don't have another anytime soon, but if I do I certainly know where I'm going for excellent repair work.

I had a really great experience with Rice Collison, Mitch team had been really helpful and they will fight for what s right for their customer especially when the insurance GEICO want to be very dishonest and put cheap aftermarket parts on my car when my vehicle deserved OEM parts. It was their client fault and Rice made sure they took full responsibility. They follow up each week with updates on my car, it did take a month to get my car back but it was worth it. They repaired and fixed it up like how my car suppose to be. THANK YOU RICE COLLISON FOR ALL YOU DO AND going the extra miles for your customer. They care about their customer and will have their back especially when these insurance can be douch bags. Enough sad, I will definitely recommend them and NO they did not pay me to write this review, it came from the heart.
