We have been coming to Taylor Tire for over 20 years. It was bought out by some company, and since the buyout, the service has been lacking. Today, it became a place I will never visit again. We bought our tires from Taylor, and had a lifetime rotation and balance with the tire package. The buyout was completed over 2 years ago, and we have had the tires rotated and balanced at least 3-4 times since the buyout. Today, I walked in, and they have changed the policy, and no longer honor the rotation and balance. If this change had occurred with the buyout, I would have understood. The staff (over the last 2 years) had reassured that they would continue to honor the rotation and balance. Today the sales rep said they would not do the rotation and balance like they had been, but he could "help me out on price, and do it for $48." Before the buyout, you could barely get in the parking lot because Taylor provided good products, and excellent service, the reps were personable and knowledgeable without being pushy. The place is a ghost town now, and I understand it well. Avoid this place at all costs.

This place has disappointed me very much with the service they offer. I took my car for alignment, balancing and tire rotation and they left my car in terrible condition. They were not responsible for the damage. On the contrary, they told me that the car's tires were bad. When yesterday they told me that my car had turned out great. I do not recommend this place to anyone, do not go

Really nice experience. Had a flat tire in my company car, brought it in on a donut. The guys got me in quickly. Super clean and spacious waiting room. Air conditioned waiting room.Love the support of the veterans. Thanks!

My husband and I were customers of Taylor Tire for 8 years. We will not be returning. It took 3 and a half hours to get an oil change and inspection. While I was waiting, a very angry lady came in to complain about oil pouring out of her car all over her driveway right after they changed her oil. The manager tried to get her to drive her car back to the shop so they could look at it. She refused of course, because her car had no oil left in it and was unsafe to drive. Now I have to find a new place to take my car and that is annoying to me. Their service has gone so far downhill. The loud music coming from the garage bays is also annoying to have to listen to. We will not return.

Absolutely horrible!!!New Tires bought from Taylor lasted less then 10 months. Stranded me in New York with a blow out. 10 hours from home. All 4 tires had cracks in them. Taylor tire did absolutely nothing wanted me to bring home tires home with me lol. Offered a free oil change which they screwed that in the past. NEVER go to this place!!!!!!!

I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience at [Service Center], and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. Despite having a coupon that clearly stated a specific price, I was charged a higher amount when it came time to settle the bill. The staff did not honor the coupon, making the whole transaction misleading and dishonest.To make matters worse, the wait time for a simple oil change was an astonishing 2 1/2 hours. I understand that there might be a wait, but this was beyond reasonable. I had called ahead to inquire about the wait time and the number of people in line. The representative on the phone assured me that the wait would be minimal and that they were adequately staffed.Upon arriving, I noticed a disturbing pattern. It appeared that customers who were minorities were consistently waiting for hours, while others seemed to have no waiting time at all. This blatant discrepancy in service based on race or ethnicity is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the fairness and equality of their customer service.Adding insult to injury, after enduring the interminable wait, I was then subjected to aggressive upselling attempts. It's disheartening to think that after investing so much time waiting for a basic service, they would try to exploit the situation to sell additional products or services.Overall, my experience at [Service Center] was not only disappointing but also highlighted questionable business practices. I strongly advise potential customers to be cautious when considering this establishment for their automotive needs, as my encounter left me feeling undervalued, deceived, and thoroughly dissatisfied.

I went to have an alignment done there and had to go back numerous of times for me still not to get the alignment done the right way and they keep telling me it was did but my steering wheel was never straight basically I just lost 144.00. I wouldn t recommend them to anybody they don t know how to handle business fairly and they are rude once you tell them that they did a job wrong. If I could give a negative five star I would.

Has not been the same since bought by Tire Discounters. It's a shame, the place used to be so busy all day every day. Now you can walk right in and have barely anyone in front of you, but the wait time is longer than ever before. Oil changes are taking at least an hour and half with no one in front of you. I've been going up there for years and they still can't correctly put back the little aluminum skid plate on my civic, had to replace once because it fell off and other times they just zip tie back, even though it's only five 10mm bolts that I keep having to replace when I leave there. BUT WITH ALL OF THAT BEING SAID, THEY HAVE THE BEST TIRE PRICES AND WARRANTY. I will always take my vehicles there for tires, but I'll be doing my own oil changes for now on.

Got an great deal on a set of 33s for my Z71 price actually ended up being cheaper than what I was originally quoted over the phone. I was there over an hour and a half but for the price I got it was well worth it. And with the free WiFi they offer the time waiting went by very quickly. I'm very happy that I went to this place and look forward to coming back. Staff is very friendly and helpful here. They know what there doing and did not try to upsell me. They actually care for the customer not the sell. Best place in Greensboro in my opinion for tire sales.

I had my tire rotated there and my right rear tire fall off Monday the 19 . Because they did not tighten up my lug nuts and it made my wheel fall off and I went up there and told them and they said that it was impossible to fall off . They said that somebody is messing with me but I no they did it .i thought that they would have done something. IF I WAS Y'ALL I WOULD NOT GO THERE

Used to be a great place for tires and tire services. Now they will tell you they can get right to you. You get there and they tell you it will be an hour or longer. New owners have really messed this place up....

Never received the kind of service I received here today. I ve been here since about 8:30am - I am absolutely baffled by the service I received today because I normally send people here and have a great review of my day. I probably wont be back. I m still here at 10:48am because I came in to get an oil change- in the past I never had to ask for rotation or fluids to be topped etc with my oil change. Today my ticket listed those items ( free tire rotation and free under hood inspection) but the representative at the front had to send my car back for these items to be done. There needs to be a sign for what the oil change in tails - it s not fair that as a customer that s been coming for 5+ Years that I had to spend hours here for something that used to be done with my oil changes automatically. My tip to you all is ASK every customer that s getting an oil change if they need inspection and rotations OR have a sign that says it s not included.

Been along time customer but since the change of names has changed a lot, for the worse. Added costs over quoted (32.50 per tire for roadside assistance that was not asked for) to the 2 hour wait after my car was pulled in for 2 tires! Won t be going back with many other options closer to my house.

Got my oil and fuel filter changed today, $425.00. This is the first time that I ve been in Taylor tire since the ownership changed. Unfortunately, I will not go back, been going to Taylor for 17 years! This is more than what the dealership would ve charged me.

I was shopping in Greensboro and hit a pothole in my new car. My car was pulling so far to the left. I pulled up a good place for an alignment and Tire Discounters was the first place that came up. The staff was so friendly when I walked in. They were able to work me into their already busy schedule and my car is in perfect alignment.

Been going for over 14years last time I went the man at the front desk was very rude and quoted me double the price for an oil change than what it really is. When it came time to pay they were still rude my oil change was done faster then it usually takes and I was skeptical if they really did it. Then I started having car issues and they didn t care. This new management is the worst. The old owners to pride in the company and very nice and helpful. I m done with Taylor s. Sad to see it going down hill.

Had tires serviced a year ago and one of the wheels almost fell off because lug nuts weren't tightened enough. Had them serviced recently and on the way back from the mountains car started shaking pretty bad. We took my car to a different shop and they said the wheel almost fell off. Glad I stopped. My family and I will not be getting our cars serviced here anymore.

Excellent service and great prices. I walked in the store and asked for four new tires and a front end alignment. In less than two hours, I had a great set of tires that were quite reasonably priced.

These people are thieves. They are charging 40 dollars for so called supplies. When I questioned what supplies was used on my vehicle I was told gloves and break cleaner. First off I watched the tech he never wore any gloves. Second off my breaks were never touched. The so called manager showed me a box of 5 dollar gloves and a can of 15 dollarbrake cleaner. That doesn't equal 40 bucks. And why should I be responsible for supplies that are not being used on my vehicle. They are nothing but crooks Ever since this place changed owners it has went down hill. They raised prices on everything. They no longer offer basic oil changes. The guys doing the mechanic work don't do a good job. They've screwed up my truck twice when there was only supposed to be a oil change. I recommend no body go here anymore.

Update: Taylor s refunded the $30 for inspection that was not completed. It took two months but they refunded and offered a free oil change. Trust is a huge factor when finding a good mechanic, so we will be seeking a different place.Under new management. Service and quality of work have suffered! In October 2022, they charged us for an inspection but upon trying to renew our registration we were told the inspection was never processed. Went back to Taylor s and they confirmed they never did it. We are still waiting on our $30 back and still unsure how they can allow us to pay for something when they never did it. Makes me wonder what else they take my money for but fail to do. Staff was not very apologetic and didn t seem too worried about helping refund our money.

I've been coming here for several years for various needs: oil change, tires, brakes/rotors. I've always had a good experience with customer service.I bring my own chair to sit outside since the lobby is normally busy.
