Smith Automotive is the best auto repair service I have ever used. They were exceptionally friendly, responsive, and professional. They diagnosed and fixed a problem with my Chevrolet pickup that at least six other repair shops were unable to diagnose or fix over the span of two years. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. I will definitely use Smith Automotive for all of my service and repair needs in the future. I highly recommend Smith Automotive to anyone who needs automotive service or repair.

Smith Automotive did a wonderful job! They were able to put me on the schedule in the morning and fix my brakes within the same day. They did great work and didn't charge an arm and a leg. Definitely would recommend!

Bought my car in to get checked was not charged cause they found nothing honest place everybody in there was very polite and they seemed to know what they're doing very professional highly recommend. We'll be back when I have an actual problem.. Thanks Daryl.

Daryl and his team never steered me wrong. I know him and his team always give good honest work. I don't ever go anywhere else in the Triad! I have been using Smith Automotive Services for 15 years now.

Very professional! They worked me in on a busy morning and they also have very fair pricing. They had to "find" the problem and fix it and they did this in an unprecedented amount of time. Very impressive!

We were in Greensboro three hours away from home for a state conference school trip at the Koury. My husband s truck, which was pulling the school trailer, developed a leaking water pump that needed to be fixed in one day. After a few calls we were referred to Smith Automotive Services by the NAPA auto parts store. Long story short, the experience with Smith Automotive Services was very positive in every way. They fixed the truck in one day at a fair price and was very good with communication. Thank you!Service: Auto water leak repair

Smith Automotive is the ONLY place I will take my car for any type of service. The staff/mechanics are the absolute best! They diagnose the problem and the repair and work is done to the highest quality. If possible I would rate Smith Automotive higher than five stars!

Excellent experience. I had a stuck caliper that rendered my motorhome nearly undriveable. I managed to make it to the the lot when they opened and the waiting room was full quickly. They had my part ordered, delivered and installed in just over 2 hours. Really impressed.

We called ahead last week about an alignment for our lifted truck and were assured the alignment could be completed without any problems. Upon arriving, my daughter was told they could attempt the alignment but it could break something (which makes absolutely no sense at all) but then when we decided we would go somewhere else they assured my daughter they could complete the alignment without doing damage. Given she d driven an hour and a half she decided to have them complete the alignment. It took them about 40 mins and she was charged $200. For a one time alignment. Find another place to do business at. I would never recommend this shop to anyone

The Most Trusted Automotive Care In North Carolina Hands Down!It's hard to trust any automobile services to anyone! But it's so wonderful to know that I can trust Smith Automotive Services and not have to worry when I'm traveling to and from...Any Services that are needed will be performed with the utmost integrity and honesty for a fair price...I've been with them for years and will always trust ther Services they provide for me! I don't know what I will do when they will retire...I do know that that will be a very sad day for me...Thank you Smith Automotive Services for all that you do

Very polite, excellent customer service & professional. I miss this quality service. Very rare to find today are businesses that are respectful, polite & courteous. If the level of actual mechanic repair work is 60% of the quality customer service you can't go wrong. On a scale of 1 - 10 the customer service was an 18 compared to today's standard level of service.

I feel like my mother sent her car up to you guys and was over charged for her needs. $350 for a starter is BS. Hope you got all you wanted because it won't happen again. Thought you were good people. Live and learn. 125$ for rotors. What a rip off. Just want to say the service may be great. To gouge elderly people with over pricing parts is ridiculous

I was told to go to smith automotive I was in a very very bad situation, the owner talk to me like it's ok no problem I couldn't believe it. I went ever where all they want was to DOG meand the other people didn't want to help. They were unbelievable, this is one of the best in Greensboro. If your looking for someone who wants to help a customer, and not just there money I please please go to SMITH AUTOMOTIVE. Not only will they help u they will REALLY REALLY CARE

My mom took her car to them and reported a specific issue to be addressed. Yes there were multiple issues but they targeted randomness she was charged $400 came to pick up and was quoted alomst$100 more ! Uhmm nope! Guess what the issue reported wasn t resolved her car cut off in a week. She had to pay for towing to another location and pay More $ for repairs.

Darrell and the Smith Brothers are the most reliable and honest auto repair establishment in the Greensboro area. They have bent over backwards to assist me in everything that i was concerned about. I won't let anyone else touch my vehicle. Great business service and great people

I recently visited this business and was very disappointed with the service I received. I went in for an alignment and after a few hours was called saying that there was a nut within the steering assembly that was seized and would need to be replaced, in order for the alignment to be completed. This part costs about $20. I was told that they would replace it for $300. When I decided to pick up the truck to replace the part myself, I was told I had to pay for the full alignment ($90) , that hadn t even been completed, and would need to pay ANOTHER $90 when I brought it back to be aligned after the part was completed. I was disappointed at the way this matter was handled, and shocked that they wouldn t even offer a few dollars off if I had them install the part or re-align it.My suggestion: go down the road and get it done for $65 at Hall Automotive, that s what I did and I was completely satisfied with the service I received.

As a female, I can feel a bit out of my element when walking in an automotive repair place. That is not the case here. This is a very fair and consistent business, super friendly, and great pricing. As I told them today, they have a life long customer in me!

Our Company uses Smith's for our fleet of vehicles. They are very professional with reasonable prices. They fix the problem the correctly first time which is almost unheard of these days. I highly recommend them based on 4 years of repeat service with a fleet of over 100 vehicles.

I have an old car, which has specific challenges. Smith Automotive has been assisting me over the past year to replace and repair it. At its age, and because so little had been done to it before I owned it, every time I visit Smith Automotive I have a hefty bill, which makes me a little dizzy. It also makes me wonder if I'm doing the right thing: Investing money in an already old car. Not knowing much about cars makes me reliant upon Smith Automotive's expertise. I've also learned that car repair persons are like doctors: They have to listen and feel and explore before they know what's wrong. It's not likely they can just look at something and know. All that listening and feeling and exploring costs money. I have found Darrell, the owner of Smith's Automotive, to be reliable, honest, professional, and thorough. Carson, the mechanic who did the work on my car the last two times, was terrific at explaining to me the ins and outs of what he did and what I needed next. I really appreciated his directness and candor. Smith Automotive is a busy shop. The phone rings off the hook all day. You'll have to wait your turn. But, for the expertise and service, they are the best in town.

Not only was everyone extremely friendly, but they were very fast as well. I am so pleased with the level of service. This will now be where we go, not just for state inspections, but also for all other work.

One of the best auto shops in town! I went to the dealer for repairs for years and to be honest the only difference is I don't wait as long or pay as much. Please don't compare this place to your grease monkey jackleg mechanic. It's not the same. If you want cheap quality or work, stay where you are.

Treats you like family!With the added stress of COVID-19, plus car troubles life can get a little overwhelming ! Smith Automotive really alleviated my worries about my vehicle, because they went above and beyond to make sure my car was serviced the correct way! Not to mention they don t rip you off like the dealer autobody tried to! Like I said they treated me like family and it really meant a lot especially considering the times we all are living in right now! Give them a call!!! A++++++++++++++++++
