Bought a 2008 Toyota Highlander private party and took it to its state inspection only to find out the check engine light had been tampered with and the diode scraped off. This place was a recommendation of the shop I was at. I called them 3pm that day and the next morning they prioritized my car and fixed it in one day for such a great price. The whole process was so stressful but these guys are great! Highly recommend!

We've been dealing with Nichols for decades and we have always been very happy with the quality and cost of their services. We also send them a lot of customers, who often call back thanking us for the referral. My company sells gauges (among other things) for critical industrial equipment and first responder trucks, so we know quality and value when we see it. Can't go wrong!

We have done business with Nichols for over 30 years. They have repaired instrument clusters, speedometers, and gauges in multiple brands of vehicles more times than I can count. Their dedication to complete repair with the precision needed to accomplish that goal is admirable. Pricing is within range for both non professional and professional automotive repair. I'll never use them again. save yourself some money, time and aggravation and look online better shops that guarantee their job. I went there with 08 BMW, I needed the miles adjusted. Guy there said they could do it, I just needed to leave old and new cluster with them. I offered to leave the vehicle, but he said he didn't needed it, When I went to pick up the part, and connected it to the vehicle, it was still showing the incorrect milage, he said that there was other modules that most likely needed to be reprogrammed as well, but he couldn't do it, he didn't even know which ones. Refused to refund the money paid saying that he did the job he was supposed to do. I was never told, at any point, that there was ANY risk of them not being able to do the job correctly. It's very nice to be paid to learn what you can or can not fix.

great service, great price and amazing customer service. I run a local shop and found this company for instrument cluster repair. I shipped the cluster to them on Wednesday and I received it back on Friday in perfect working order. Their communication was great and I will definitely use them again and refer others to them!

Exceptional service at reasonable prices. They removed, refurbished & reinstalled my dashboard cluster in 3 hours while I waited & made it all better than new. All work is guaranteed! For any dashboard/cluster lighting, display or gauges issues, these guys are the best around.

Excellent service, even though I had to return for a part they forgot to return to me. They offered to install free of charge because I had to return for the part. And just btw, the mechanic that called fussing about the missing part is not named "Dana", his name is Willie...just in case someone working there see this.

I dropped off my 2009 f150 cluster because the LEDs stopped working. I picked up my cluster after 2 days. I went back home and I discovered that the LED for the rpm needle did not illuminate, I had to go back the next morning and they fixed it in 30 mins. Other than that minor inconvenience, I'm happy with the repair and excited to be able to see my speedometer at night.

Have used Nichols for Years. Many times we drop it off from 50 miles away and run some errands and it will be finished.When leaving the cluster Roberta gets back to Winston-Salem about the time we make it back home. Excellent service and value

Very happy customer.Originally questioned going to the establishment based on some prior review postings, but have to say maybe that poster was having a bad day.The shop was a little diffilcult to locate but once found. The staff was courteous and polite. They were clear on pricing and turn around time on the repair. Neither itema waivered and I had my repaired cluster back the next day at price quoted.They even gave me a referral for a local company that could fix my factory radio.Great shop!

Not Good! I have been using these guys for 11 years never a issue. 1 week ago I call them and ask if they could repair a cluster and they said yes and could get it done same day most likely. Today I called them this mourning and asked if they could get it done today. They said they would try but could not promise. They would do what they can but may need it over night. I did not here from them all day. At 4pm I called them and they said we will not start on it till three days from now. This rating could have been totally different if they where honest and or even called me to let me know.

Had a speedometer test done for a speeding ticket. They were very friendly and took my car in the same day I called. They did the job quickly and accurately. They provided me with a notorized certificate to provide to the court. Price was also fair. Thanks guys.

Needed my odometer reprogrammed on my Malibu. They were able to do it for a reasonable price and had me in and out in about an hour. They were a lifesaver and would definitely recommend.

SOMETHING HAS CHANGED. We have used Nichols Speedometer Inc. for the last 4yrs. They had always done a good job, and our customers have been pleased. .....UNTIL NOW!! They received the instrument cluster and had it for a week, but never contacted me. when I called they informed me the cluster was broken. I called repeatedly over the next 3 weeks, trying to speak to the owner, leaving messages for a return call. NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK FROM THE OWNER!! 5weeks from the the time we shipped the instrument cluster, it was shipped back to us, BROKEN, and with a book to order components to rebuild a replacement instrument cluster. I guess as long as there are no issues, everything is fine. However if a problem arises, you're on your own(YOYO)!Caveat emptor!!

Always great service, i own a repair shop & work on a fair amount of older german cars. Any instrument cluster repair issues go to Nichols. Never an issue.

Sent them a VDO speedometer to have the odometer LCD replaced. They repaired and shipped it the same day they received it and at a fair price! Awesome service!

Keep my odometer for a week. I told them the gas hand wasn't working at first. Then I followed up a couple days later to find they had did nothing. called back a couple days later, the guy mentioned something about my speedo diameter hand which was not a problem, but still charge me $42 when I did nothing. I advise find another place to go.

It's on a hidden street near the train tracks. Highly recommended to use your GPS to find it because it is hidden. Best to call ahead to get directions or use GPS. Street it's narrow and can't really turn around if you miss the street. Very nice ppl and great prices

Repaired 1978 Audi odometer about 30 years ago. Just repaired 2006 Silverado instrument cluster. Same excellent and quick service!
