To make a long story short, a shop in SC did some work on my S40 that resulted in an SRS Airbag light being left on. After 5 years of several unsuccessful attempts with different shops I ended up moving out here and my dad found Hailey s.I m very particular with my car and who I let work with it, especially after my experience in SC, but they got my car in quickly and from that point on I cannot say enough good things about these guys or their furr babies at the desk!Not only were they willing and able to fix my SRS code (unlike any other shop I had reached out to), but we asked them to look over the car as I recently had to replace the motor due to the same shop that caused the SRS issue.They called back with a short list of things they found. Some urgent, some not. They never tried to pressure us into anything. They simply explained what our options were and let us decide. The communication was honestly the best I ve ever had from a shop. Everybody was super friendly and knowledgable. I never once felt like they were just trying to get more money out of us.I will not let anybody else in Greensboro touch my Volvo. My partner drives a Subaru and after our experience, Hailey s is the only shop it will be going to as well!Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto maintenance

I cannot recommend this shop enough. I previously had a bad time with a shop near Raleigh fixing AC on my S60R and called these guys up to see if they could help. Immediately, I felt comfortable that they knew these cars and I took the hour plus trip out to them.They did fantastic work, Thomas especially knows these cars inside and out. The pricing was more than fair and they really went above and beyond to fix the issue and install some goodies along the way. I even found Thomas buffing the car when I arrived to pick it up. Big shout-out to Devin and Mitch as well, who spent a lot of time doing extensive diagnosis of the AC system, well beyond what I would think a normal shop would do. Thanks again fellas!

The people here are amazing! I had a really bad experience at another shop (Callahans) and Hailey s Import helped resolve the issue and gave me a clean bill of health for my vehicle. I couldn t be more pleased with the customer service of this shop, not to mention the outstanding detail they used to make sure my vehicle was working properly.

I took my Subaru here and these guys are honest, professional, and knowledgeable. I recently traded in my car for another Subaru and was pleasantly surprised to see the maintenance done here was reported to Carfax. Will be taking my new Subaru here as well.

Car would not start, had it towed to Haileys and guys diagnosed the problems and fixed the vehicle. Car is running great. Will take it back for regular maintenance. Definitely recommend these guys.

We have used Hailey for years. They are highly knowledgeable and extremely trustworthy. We even trust them to service our daughter's car. We have been customers of Hailey Import Service for a number of years. When we purchased a new Volvo, our service was under warranty at another location so Hailey did not service this vehicle during the warranty time frame. That period of several years ended and one morning when our vehicle would not start we contacted AAA. A helpful neighbor who showed up recommended we try a service station nearby. Well after several episodes of wrong diagnoses and utter exasperation with multiple battery jumpstarts, we returned to Hailey.Mitchel and Devin came to our rescue! Their professional manner and ultimate skills were used to help us get on the right track. We can now feel confident we will not be needing AAA or a neighbor's assistance for quite some time.Thank you Mitchel and Devin for your patience and your determination to be sure we "seniors" would not be let down in our travels. Hailey's has serviced both a Volvo and Subaru for us in the past. Unfortunately (for me) I no longer own either, but Hailey's always did a great job for a reasonable price when I did take those cars to them. Additionally, they were extremely knowledgeable and very honest in their assessment of what was needed. Highly recommended.

Hands down my favorite automotive repair shop. Incredible service, some of the most intelligent techs I've come across that are actually Honest about what needs to be done and what could wait. Been taking care of my mother's Volvo's for more than two decades and she wouldn't take them anywhere else! When they started offering Subaru service I was over the moon. I could go on all day but it boils down to this: if you are looking for an honest shop that displays true integrity in an industry where it is so rare.. look no further.

I ve taken my Subaru here on three separate occasions and every time i am met with amazing customer service and professionalism. Rating this place anything less than five stars is impossible. I have absolutely 0 car knowledge and I would be an easy target for a mechanic to scam me. I never have to worry about that here, these gentlemen explain everything in a way that is easy for me to understand and I never have to wonder if I m paying for a service that I actually need or not. They are always honest, kind, and welcoming and I am so appreciative of them taking care of me and my car!

I was recommended to Hailey Import Service by multiple people. It was definitely the right choice, they are extremely honest and want what is best for you and your car. They repaired what I needed quickly and the quotes here are monumentally lower than you would get anywhere else for a Volvo, on top of that these guys know what they're doing. I have a Volvo and this place is by far the best and most honest place around to work on my car. They also have great prices on parts if you want to do the repair on your own. I went to get a part today and one of the owners spent at least 30 minutes trying to find out the part I needed. I don't know any shop around that would take the time to find what you need and help you out like he did. He gave me the part number because he didn't have it stock. I came to Hailey's after my Volvo dealer quoted $1,800 for electrical work to remedy a battery drsin. Hailey's diagnosed the issue as a simple bad battery, and installed a new battery, The sort of excellent customer service that is the trademark of an honest effective garage. They now take excellent care of both my Volvos. Great people, effdctive and cost conscious. 5 stars for sure.Service: Electrical

I bought my car from a close friend who went to Hailey Import and recommended them as she had nothing but good things to say. I do not know much about cars but I have to say I never feel out of place there. They double check their work, they re reliable, they re kind and easy to talk to, great to work with, trustworthy, and stand behind their work. I ve had my car towed to them, I ve had engine light diagnostics and repairs done, and they ve fixed my air conditioning. I had a very complex engine problem that no other shops could fix. Brought it to them and they said that they would take a look at it and 2 days later it was fixed. I have been going there ever since and have only had good experiences. When you walk in you are able to talk directly to the owners which can seldom be said about other shops. They explain to you everything that is going on with your car and what needs to be fixed immediately and what can wait. They even print it out on your receipt so you can take it with you. As long as I am in Greensboro me and anyone I know that has a Volvo or Subaru will be going to Haileys.Service: Engine repair

These folks know what they are doing! I own two Volos and have been looking for some local specialist to help me take care of them. Well my search is over! They handled both cars with care, told me everything that needs work, told me what needed fixing immediately vs what could wait, didn t try to pressure me to fix anything right away if it wasn t needed, and their prices are great! After fighting with my Volvo XC90 for over a year I was done - I needed help. I asked a friend of mine who I should take it to and he suggested the folks at Hailey. I called and made arrangements to drop my Volvo off. All I can say is why did I wait so long ! They diagnosed the problems , got parts in and I'm now driving the Volvo I let sit for a year ! Awesome work from some a very skilled and knowledgeable team of techs ,awesome communication with some folks who go above and beyond. Id more than highly recommend Hailey and they now have a customer for life.

By far the best mechanic I've ever been too. Will work with you and your budget to recommend services needed. Hailey is a rare gem in automotive repair and service. I am a mechanical engineer and have worked in the automotive industry for 30 years including repairing my own vehicles when I have time to do it. My son's Volvo S60 was blowing smoke during his return to Greensboro after spring break. He made it back safely and I did some research online to find a local mechanic with Volvo experience. Hailey had excellent reviews and now I know why firsthand. Their communication was immediate, clear and reassuring. Their method for diagnostics was clearly explained and logical. Even though I was hundreds of miles away, they treated me as if I was nearby and didn't try to sell me parts or service not needed. In the end, they found the leak, fixed it in one day and the cost was very reasonable and below my expectations. These guys know their stuff but also enjoy delivering customer service. I will only use Hailey for as long as my two sons are in Greensboro for college.

I was impressed with Hailey Import Service, they are very professional and will help you out no matter how little you know about cars, they will try to explain the best they can and they have your best interest in mind. Hard to find honest mechanics so 5 starts. I ll trust them with my Subaru any day.

These guys are fantastic! I just bought a volvo c30 that needed some major maintenance done and decided to give them a call. They answered all of my questions and within the next couple of weeks I made nearly a 3 hour trip to have them service my car. I do most of my own mechanic work and have not paid a technician in over 5 years for any repairs but I would gladly recommend them for any volvo owner as they are knowledgeable, down to earth, and seem to honestly have the customers best interests in mind. I will return to them for future repairs that I cannot do myself.

I used to own a Ford Focus and both owners would work on my car for me! Last year I traded my car in and before I bought the car, a Subaru Legacy, they checked out the car for me! Told me that everything looked well taken care of. I purchased the Subaru and they we re right! I take my car up there for everything. They even put new tires on for me and balanced them! Wonderful guys! I even tell everyone about them and bought a licenses plate cover to advertise for them!

These guys are the absolute best. They provide world-class service and factory OEM parts faster, cheaper, and better than the dealer. I know because I worked there from 2017 until this past January (I had to move away for family reasons). I doubt I'll find another shop with the level of integrity and passion for their customers as Hailey's. I was honored to work there.

Hailey Import Service kept our 1987 Volvo 240 station wagon well-tuned and runny beautifully for several years! They are not only experts, they are honest about the work that needs to be done. We always got a phone call before they started any repairs to ask if we wanted a particular service performed, and to explain the procedure and the costs, so we were never surprised by the final bill. I have recommend them to all my friends who own Volvos and they are all thankful I did. Not only do they get top-rate service, but they get to visit with Hank, the well-dressed shop dog!

My family has been bringing our Volvos here since 2012 or so. A few 240s, 940s, V70s, and an S60. Outstanding service. They're great at explaining what's going on and how to fix problems to the level you need (just keep it running, preventative maintenance, or keep it pristine). Highly recommend them for your Volvo needs!

I drive a 2005 Volvo XC90. I really like my car, so I want to drive it until it will drive no more. It might be a while as Hailey's helps me to keep it in top shape. When I call, they know me by first name and take care of me as quick as I can get the car in there. I've never experienced service like this - they're awesome! My next car will be another Volvo because I can't imagine going any place else to service my cars.

I recently brought my Volvo to Hailey Import Service for a nagging 'Check Engine' light. They were able to diagnose the issue and quickly get it resolved for a fair price, both with regard to their labor rate and their prices for parts.While they were under the hood, they also fixed a few other issues that I was unaware of (leaking cam seals that would have required disassembly of that same area again), likely saving me several hundred dollars in labor costs later on.I was given a thorough and complete review of everything performed on my car, plus a few recommendations on some potential issues I should keep an eye on.While I was there, I spoke for awhile with Devin and the mechanic who worked on my car (didn't catch his name, sorry!) and both were knowledgeable, polite, and professional. I won't hesitate to return here in the future.
