I had just bought a clean 17 year old BMW w some issues with the paint. The clearcoat was chipping in two spots and had a really bad front bumper respray job from one of the previous owners. Like I said, the car is 17 years old and it did not make sense to pay thousands to get the paint right.I took a gamble and tried this shop in Greensboro. I m glad I did. The shop manager was a really nice guy and explained Everything to me. I had him show me some completed paint jobs in the parking lot. I rolled the dice and told him to do mine.Even though it was Thanksgiving week, I had the car back in 6 days. I was expecting longer honestly.I m very happy with the end product. It looks so much better. This old BMW looks young again. I did find one very minor drip under the rear wing, but had to go looking for it.The paint is a metallic silver/blue. It looks great.I will be back the next car I need painting. Thanks again forThe great job on my car.

I am very, very disappointed in this place. I just got my grandson's car Painted here not even too much ago. In the paint is starting to peel already at the back of the bottom of his car. I am not a satisfied customer and I will never bring my call back Here again not mine. But I will like if they can just fix what's peeling. And then they will never have to worry about me again. I pay $700 and they told me the paint will not peel they lied Hopefully they can make me satisfy with fix. And they problem he had been watched it or anything It's just starting to peel. I would appreciate if you're gonna fix the problem.

The worst customer service I ever experienced when I picked up my vehicle. My car was not painted to a standard I expected. The person at the counter completely lacks customer service knowledge and communication with customers. Moreover they do not accept either debit or credit cards for their work. I ended up walking in the rain to find a bank and money order in the rain. When the car was done it was full of dust inside and outside. I will not recommend this auto painting place to anyone.

Wish I could give 0 star. They painted my car without clear coat. Too lazy to not cover one of the silver trim. 1 year later I am ending up spending money for repainting the same car. Stay away from these people.

Will do business again. I've changed the headlights and painted the grill gloss black myself, and I love how my old beater car came out!

Paint job looks great except I will bring it back for top to be looked at I don't know if it was sanded down as promised because I still see peeling marks on top. The only other reason I didn't give 5 star was because the inside of my truck had black handprints on head liner, dust all in the truck and overspray on my windows, bed liner and headlight. I had to get inside truck detailed to remove the dust so I could drive. Victor offered to get overspray on windows I went on and did it myself.

They paint in my son's car and he loves it, we went with a different color it was a very very very good price for what we got not really sure how long it's going to last but hey it's his first car and he wanted it painted a certain way. And he also wanted a certain color is well. There was only one drawback and it was a few tiny dents in the hood but no big deal for what we paid he got a really good paint job. I plan on bringing my truck there to get it painted I also got a estimate on that and they beat everybody else is price and they also included painting my truck bed as well.

Great job done by Matt and his crew. Great prices too. Brought back and old school truck from the dead and he helped take the ugly off.

I recently had my car painted by Econo Auto Paint and I m not satisfied with their quality of work. Overall, it s a decent paint job, but my previous paint was peeling off my car and it looks like they just painted over the peeling paint without sanding anything. It was paint residue left on my windows, tires, and mirrors. It s truly a sloppy paint job!Update: (6/18/21)I spoke with Mike from Econo Auto Paint and he was very disappointed that I wasn t satisfied with my services and wanted to fix it immediately. He was truly concerned about my feelings towards the paint job and wanted to schedule some time to review my concerns and car.I appreciate the level of professionalism and customer service from him and Matt. It truly shows that they care about their clients and the quality of work that is produced by Econo Auto Paint.

Econo Auto Painting does not deserve the one star review provided. I received a very poor quality paint service, on what was submitted as an insurance claim, in addition to extremely unprofessional customer service. A paint service was performed in October 2019 on my vehicle, where the trunk lid was replaced, requiring a full painting, including the spoiler. During the course of the three (3) day repair, my key was initially misplaced by Econo Auto Painting and the vehicle was not returned to me, directly. I had to contact them to determine when my car was ready, only to be advised he did not have time for me to wait to come to collect it. My key was left in the trunk, per my last resort request. When I collected the vehicle, it had what appeared to be brown dirt covering the entire vehicle and a residue on the windows that would not come off with washing. I was advised since my car required a more expensive paint, some remained, and if I had any issues, I could return it after the initial "90 day warranty". The paint is now bubbling in the area that was "repaired", a portion of the spoiler was left unpainted, there are scrapes and lines in the trunk lid within the paint, that were not present prior to painting. In addition, the paint is chipping under the trunk. I contacted Econo Auto Painting, today, and relayed all of my concerns. Victor, who was the individual that handled the "customer service" of my vehicle from the initial repair became offended by my recounting of the issues, including the lack of service I had received during the initial service and rescinded his offer for me to bring the vehicle back to correct the faulty work. I would strongly recommend considering other body & paint locations which will be accountable in the area.

I had work done on my car almost exactly three months ago. I went to have my headlights adjusted today at my normal mechanic and was informed that there was all types of work that had not been done. My bumper was just placed back in with no type of bolts or clips of any kind. The wheel well liner on the front passenger side had a hole in it from where it was not replaced correctly. My passenger light was not bolted in correctly and will not stay in the correct position it s supposed to. The bumper that was placed on my car does not fit and none of the bolt holes line up anywhere. I am greatly displeased with this company and was told that it would even be a service to me to have it looked at again since it was beyond my 90 days. I am just inside of the 90 day rule for my car and was told I was lucky that he would even take a look at it. My change that I had in my car was stolen and upon arrival to pick up my car when it was worked on it was still not ready despite being told it would be ready. I have tried repeatedly to give this company a chance. I can say I will not make that mistake again. I will not be returning to have the work fixed for fear that something else will be messed with and torn up on my car.

Do not do business with this place. The manager report to his brother Mike. The new manager is a disaster, rude and does not know what he is doing. My car was silver and they painted it gray and did very lousy job on body work. I was told by Mike to wait 3 weeks and bring car back so the paint will get dry and they will fix boday work. When I went there the Manager was so rude and said I have to bring it back in two weeks and he said he does not care what his brother said. This place deserve minus five stars

We took our 2001 black Oldsmobile Alero in for a paint lift. It had some dead paint on around the trunk, fin, and roof top. My wife also wanted metal flakes put in. We took it in on a Saturday and it was done by Thursday for pickup. This paint job is so good. The people working there are very friendly and easy to work with. Price was great, half of the price I expected it to be. Also got a warranty. I do not know what else you would expect for your money. Our car is really sharp looking now, getting more and more compliments.Do not be afraid to try out these folks. Excellent.

Place is run by inexperienced people. Should be something people can do for such poor work performed.

Ok it's me again. Customer service? Smiling sales rep?Great service? Beat any price in the entire triad?Well well well Greensboro. If your clunker is looking raggedy why not spend $300.00 plus for a quality painting paint job.... Nope! NOT maaco. Econo. Remember that name and remember customer service and ask honest estimate. No hidden fees. All the fees are on the wall and t they will write up your estimate. One more thing. GET YOUR CAR THERE MONDAY OR TUESDAY so you can beat the rush and get your car the same week. They will take care of you with a quality paint job

I mean you get what you pay for. I had the vehicle prepped perfect for paint ( wet sanded and such) they were to paint one side and the hood of a Chevy Blazer. They quoted my uncle some low ball number that he( used car head) was happy hearing. Well we show up in a few days( quick enough) and walk up to see a level of texture that wasn't acceptable. Well the manager said we will fix it. Far from it. They for some reason decided to repaint the other side. Had sanding gouges all over the car and ring out where they didn't prime or seal them. Well none the less we paid and took it because to hell of we are gonna let them fix it again.

I took my mini van to this car painting shop a month ago, I was so excited with the beautiful metallic blue color that I chose. My mini van was ready 4 days later and the color looked great, however I noticed some runs in the front, side and back of my van. On the other hand, I paid to get some body work done but they did not do it. I told them that I was not happy with this situation and they told me that I need to bring it back after 30 days so they can repaint it to correct the runs and also to do the body work that they did not do; that is exactly what I did. I brought my van back 2 days ago and went to pick it up today; the body work was half way done but even worse the color is not the metallic blue that I originally chose, now it is a really dark blue that I do not like at all! They told me that when a car is repainted the color turns darker but it is not my fault that they did not do it right the first time, why I have to pay the consequences? I feel so frustrated and totally dissatisfied with their poor quality work!!

I used econo for the re-painting of my 2010 civic (which was starting to show fading in a number of places). Basically -- econo delivered on everything they promised. The price was reasonable. They honored their quote without any surprises regarding cost. The paint job was completed on schedule. Visually, it appears they did an excellent job, and there have been no signs of any issues/problems during the 10 weeks since I had the work done. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

My mechanic brought my car here. They used the wrong paint for the car and even painted the interiors of the car with a wrong paint. My car was left a mess. When I spoke to the manager, he told me that the mechanic paid for a cheap labor and as a result why my car was left a mess. The manager also stated that they have bad reviews already so writing one will be unnecessary. SAD IN INDEED but please, be advised on what you get when you visit this shop for a paint work.

It's best not to bring your car here for paint jobs. You know the old saying, "You Pay For What You Get", and your extremely lucky if your Econo paint with an integrated clear last over 2 years! I rode up there earlier with a previous customer of Econo Auto Painting to over hear a conversation between the Customer and one of the employees that work there. The employer was totally unaware that I was still sitting in the car and listening to the conversation. I won't go into details but will say some of Econo Employees seem rude, non caring and dumbfounded. I'm sure there are better cheap paint shops then this.

3 weeks to get a tailgate fixed...A TAILGATE...of a Dodge Ram. The damage was not that bad. It took a call to the corp office to get anything done. Patience? I would call 3 weeks having patience. I was told a supervisor with the company was handling it after my call. If this is the quality of work one of their experiences people has, it's a joke. The area is still visible. I guess some companies just don't care what a paying customer cares about. Remember the old saying, compliments are rarely given, but complaints find their way around. Let's see how much they really care, and if warranted I will give praises, but at the moment I would give leas than 1 star if I could.

I had my 1994 Mitsubishi Mighty Max painted last year in Greensboro. Overall the outside was very good. When I picked it up I noticed the floor of the bed was very rough and had dark stains. I accepted it however. It has been close to a year now and although I've never hauled anything in the bed it is full of paint chips. It is obvious they did not sand the old paint because there are no scratches on the old paint. I had never hauled anything in this truck before so the old paint was in good shape. The bed floor has corregations so cannot be sanded with a DA sander. This requires hand sanding. It was not done so looks worse now than before I took it. I will sand it myself and spray it myself this summer. The outside still looks good but one should always sand a car finish before painting. These guys are rushed so I can understand to a degree but I paid for a complete paint job. I bought this truck new so have babied it for 24 years. I have a Silverado that I am going to get painted there but I will request a call so I can inspect my truck for sanding before they shoot any paint. I paint myself, just don't have a garage in NC.

Just find another way of getting the paint color correct on the work order the 1st time because if you wanted silver and got RED It s almost impossible to get it completely painted the color you wanted Good paint job but......... RED I would have hope that you all would have tried to get rid of the red overspray Dropped car off June 11 got it back July 5 if anyone was wondering with still RED in spots. Almost a month think about that for a minute what should it have looked like in that amount of time just a thought

I brought my 2010 Mazda6 into Econo a little over 3 years ago, my car clear coat just fell off like yesterdays news. It went from a Sangria Red Mica to almost a pink color. I finally wised up on these half done ripoff paint shops and took it to L & O Auto Body Repair Inc. I spent more money but it was well worth it. Response to the owner, I have no other review, just this one.

Very pleased with management, especially Keyda, and their workers.I recently brought in an older Lincoln Continental for repainting. The paint job looked great, but following a real close inspection later while washing the vehicle, I found one very small painting defect on the hood. Keyda immediately, without any hesitation, took the vehicle back and redid the entire hood. I have since brought in my Toyota Camry which needed part of the rear bumper repaired and repainted. Again...Keyda handled the job for me......and again nothing but praise for him and the job done. And the prices are very reasonable.

*Updated! So I came in contact with the manager of this location who remembered my last service I came in for was to correct my fenders which were not painted up to par. He offered to complete the job at no charge for customer satisfaction. They did just that. I appreciate that he took the opportunity to correct it. Great customer service and I will be back to do business in the future.

For the price, this shop here is a good deal for a paint job if you're wanting to sell your vehicle. For long term use, their Integrated paint, which is a single stage paint with an integrated clear, is not as durable and does not deliver the same level of gloss as a polyurethane base coat/clear coat system. My 2002 Cavalier LS Sport, is already fading after 1 year and 11 months. I kept the vehicle waxed and polished every year. A Base/Clear paint job is NOT the same as a single stage paint job with an integrated clear. If you see the words Integrated Clear or IC watch out and remember an Integrated Clear is not the same as a clear coat. After 2 years the integrated clear coat is totally gone. I've waxed my car twice a year up until now.
