I came by here around 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon to get a tire rotation. I bought tires from discount tire but the wait was too long. One location had a 2-2.5 hour wait and another had a 1hr or so wait. I called Battleground Tire first before coming by and was told they could squeeze me in, which was awesome. I was told it would be $25.Battleground Tire is located on the corner of pisgah church and battleground. There is a sign that says Nappa Auto center which definitely confused me. However, it does say Battleground Tire on the building itself.Inside, Anthony assisted me. He definitely had a sense of humor, which was nice. I had to give typically name, address, and car info to check in and get work done. They have complimentary WiFi which I didn t use.My car was done at 4:55pm, which so much better than the time I would ve spent at discount tire. I learned that Anthony was the owner. He was extremely friendly and personable. Throughout my interactions from check in and check out, he initiated conversation. He mentioned wanted to get to know his customers, which is very admirable.

I will never come back here. After purchasing tires I asked for a safety inspection. They said that my wipers were bad. Of course they could replace them ($$$) but I am perfectly capable of putting them on myself. I inspected the blades and there was a very small tear in the middle of the passenger side blade. Both blades functioned fine when I tested them. Now, since they failed me, I am locked into this store to get this fixed. I had to go down the street, buy a new wiper and install it to get out from under them. They do this to gouge customers and make a quick buck. When I returned, they made me wait longer because I disagreed with thier inspection (I have been a mechanic for over 20 years). I know they did this on purpose because there were no other customers and I saw the employee who inspected my car doing nothing in the shop. I highly advise you go somewhere else especially if you do not know a lot about cars. They will take advantage of you if they can. I am tired of crooked, dishonest shops like this one. I plan on getting my own tire change machine / balancer and will do alignments the old school way with tape measures and camber gauges. At least I would not have to deal with these robbers and will get the job done correctly (yes, I heard you use an impact to put those rims back on a BMW rather than getting out your torque wrench. Don't tell me about torque sticks either as I can prove to you they are not accurate. Quit being lazy and do the job the right way).

Longtime customer of this local establishment (20+ yrs). Huge fan! They are very knowledgeable, friendly, timely, and cost efficient. In this era of auto dealers up selling and overcharging, the folks at Battleground Tire are very straight shooters always looking out for their customers best interests.Highly recommend them for any service, especially tires!

We limped in with a damaged tire that we could not get the lug nuts off of. They put the spare on for us and wouldn't let us pay them for the service. Very helpful. Good price on a new tire if I didn't need to take it back where I got the original. Thank you!

Yesterday was my first experience with Battleground Tire and I can truly say that the level of customer service offered by Jay was very impressive. A bolt had punctured my rear tire and as a result I needed to replace both back tires. I had already called several other Greensboro tire stores, but none of them had my tire in stock. All of them offered to order the tires, but it would be the following day before the tires could be installed. My last call was to Battleground Tire and they too, did not have my tire in stock, but Jay said he could order them and have them there sometime that afternoon. My order was placed around 12 noon and at 2:30 pm I received a call from Jay saying that the tires had arrived. I arrived at Battleground Tire at 3 PM and was back in my car leaving at 4 PM. Thank you to Anthony for your warm and welcoming greeting when I arrived and a big thank you to Jay for all your help in getting those two tires installed the same day. Battleground Tire has now become my go-to tire shop. I highly recommend Battleground Tire. Their prices were good and the waiting area is very clean and inviting with a nice selection of magazines that would appeal to a variety of readers. Also, Battleground Tire is locally owned, which was a big plus for me. Again, thanks to Jay, Anthony, and to the tire technician who made my day.

Battleground tire is my all-time go-to for service, tires and general repairs. The grienydly and professional staff always make me feel welcome. The work is done quickly and at a reasonable price. I can't say enough good things about battleground tire, I've used them for many years.

The waiting area has been updated and looks much better. I came here for an inspection and the service was quick and efficient. Friendly managers.

Battleground Tire gets your work done on time. The work is done correctly the first time and they are reasonably priced. The employees are friendly. Isn't that what you want from any service provider? On time, fast, correct work, reasonably priced , polite employees. Oh, and their restroom is the cleanest I have seen in any auto shop. I would not take my car anywhere else to get worked on. They are the best in town. I have been taking all of my vehicles there for the past 24 years. If you are having troubles with your current mechanic, take you vehicle to Battleground Tire and those troubles will disappear.

We love Battleground Tire! All of our cars have tires from them and they have never once tried to up-sell us. The quality of their work is top notch and they carry the best brands. They also do engine service work. Highly recommend.

Never go to this place. They are rip off. I took my car there for some electric issues. The mechanic had no idea what he was talking about. Recommended new battery when I told him the battery is only few months old he went red in the face. He had no answer. One of his associates came and said they will need to do further investigation and that will cost me additional $65.00. After paying them $124.00 they still couldn t figure out what was wrong with the car. These people are clueless.Do NOT waste your time or money with them. Very disappointing!!!!!!!

Went in for an alignment, they quoted me that I needed $1700 worth of parts and labor before they did an alignment, then charged me $80 for the information, and didn't do an alignment. Parts were $200 on RockAuto and went to a more trusted shop in Greensboro that installed them for $300. This place is a rip off.

Getting my car needs taken care of at Battleground Tire is always easy. No stress. Jay and the other front office people always smile so I feel valued as a customer. Work done on my car has always been just what it needed and it was done right the first time.

I needed a new set of tires for my Jeep so I contacted the awesome people at Battleground Tire. They ordered the tires same day and I dropped my Jeep off the next morning. They were fast and friendly. Thanks to Jay and Anthony and the rest of the team for taking such great care of my Jeep! I hope they don t have to see me anytime soon but I ll only be going to Battleground Tire in the future!

I was quoted $1700 to replace an oil pan & the tie rod ends on a Ford. Sourced my own parts instead on RockAuto for $135. Paid another mechanic $500 in labor to complete the job. All in all saved myself $1000+I should ve learned the first time they tried to charge me $25 to patch my tire LOL

I ve been going to Battleground Tire for many years now! I feel that they always serve me in a very friendly and mannerly way! I would definitely suggest to people to take the vehicles to Battleground tire if any oil changing or service work needs to be done on it.

I struggled on my rating because I went there for tires and that was excellent. Great price, good communication and service, very impressed. But I also got an oil change that was WAY over priced, filled with extra fees and costs, and they did a horrible job cleaning up so I ended up with oil all over my driveway.I'd still go back for more tires, but not sure about other services.

I was very happy with my experience with Battleground Tire from my initial call with Jay, lady at desk being knowledgeable and efficient , Matthew patching my tire, and Anthony letting me know when I would need tires in te future ; all very helpful and friendly . I will be back to purchase my tires from them !!

Wonderful, friendly, no fuss service. My first time caring for car maintenance solo and Battleground Tire really made it easy. A locally owned business with good vibes. I was really touched by the warm greeting given by Anthony. Grateful to have found a car service home. 10/10 recommend.

My mother went to get her brakes replaced and they quoted her over $1100 . I took a look at the invoice and they were charging her the ultra premium price on ALL 4 tires . Today, I took her car somewhere else and quoted us $429 for the two back brakes AND a 1 year warranty. The front brakes were absolutely fine and didn t need to be replaced at all. In my opinion, I felt like this place tried to rip my mom off to get more money from her when they didn t have to add all that extra stuff when it wasn t needed. Especially, since the front brakes were fine.

Anthony, Gabby and the whole BT Team were fantastic!They jumped on my breakdown quickly, diagnosed and priced out the solution, communicated clearly, fixed it and got me back on the road exactly as they said they would. Promises made, Promises Delivered!Service Excellence is alive and well at Battleground Tire!

Brought my model Y for an alignment. Still pulled to the left afterward. Also steering wheel was no longer on center. Called them to address the issue, was told the owner would call me back, but he never did. Called back several times, still no call back. Was charged $180 for the alignment. Total rip off for the amount of work they did and level of customer service.

Dropped in to get my tire plugged and was greeted by such excellent customer service! They do lots of mechanic work, not just tires (despite their name). Anthony was very welcoming and helpful. Convenient and quick. Definitely recommend!

Good service and incredibly reliable group of people. Charge good prices, never a dime more than needed and also have fantastic deals. They are the best place in town for an oil change.

These guys are the nicest, and friendliest people I ever meet. they know their stuff. Darren and Shane are both very understanding know how to talk to customers. Wth that said. they are a bit on the price side but worth it because they have been open Since 1960 and they truly know their stuff, so it's worth every penny. it's nice having a mechanic you can trust not to scam you and rip you off and do the work right the first time . I will be back for sure . thank you.

Went in to get a state inspection and I needed windshield wiper blades. They were trying to charge me $18 labor just to put on the wiper blades! So I picked up my truck and went down to autozone to purchase a pair of wiper blades. Autozone installed them FREE OF CHARGE and it literally took them longer to unpackaged the wiper blade than it was to install them on my truck! I m saying it took less than a minute to snap them on!! And Battleground Tire charges $18 to install them?? WOW! Maybe I could see $5 but $18 is Robbery!!

My schedule is crazy so trying to stop in to order tires and set up an appointment is not convenient. It was so simple to order my new tires online, get a quote, schedule the mounting and an alignment all online with email confirmation all along the way. Battleground Tire made it too easy. The service appointment was fast and service great. I WILL BE BACK.

Stopped in with a surprise flat tire first thing in the morning. They were very nice and helpful, fixed my tire, and had me on my way in a reasonable amount of time. The price was also reasonable. All in all, it was as good an experience as you can have with a flat tire on the way to work.

I have lived in Greensboro for over 20 years now, but previously used only dealers for all of my car service work. A few years ago I became unhappy with the inconsistent work quality and the constant "upselling" I was getting from those dealer service departments, and tried out Battleground Tire on the recommendation of a friend. It was the best move I could have made! This crew is professional, courteous, prompt, and above all honest. You can't go wrong at Battleground Tire.
