Jennings transmission had my truck for almost 3 weeks two attempts truck is running fine now great some would say the very disappointing thing about it was the handle of my truck got broke no one seems to know how which is very disappointing very

Worst business I've ever dealt with. Charged me a grand just to install the transmission I bought myself. It ended up breaking only a few days later. They claimed it was just another bad transmission,.Thank God I had the one I bought under warranty. So they put a second one in covered by the warranty and it broke. They claimed up and down it had to be too bad transmissions, three if you count the original one that broke. Fed up I told them to forget it and give me the car back, and they refused to refund me any money. When I needed help, they were there to take my money and kick me to the curb. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! YOU WILL REGRET IT!Service: Transmission

Was able to get one for my 93 pickup the next day. Had a couple issues on installation on my end not the transmission. Called and talked to tech helped with pointing me in the right direction found the issue been almost 2 weeks shifting nicely. Very nice people to deal with.

We used Jennings for my husband's transmission because it was ordered through O'Reilly's. They had to rebuild it twice within less than a year, each time taking well over a week. They gave him a loaner truck with every light on the dash on.When it went back the second time, they backed his truck into something.... Granted, they did fix the damage but that shouldn't have happened to begin with. Once we got the truck back, it shifted hard and had a leak. He emailed them and got no response. The transmission messed up again a few weeks ago. My husband had to keep calling them and when he finally got to speak with someone, they said it was out of warranty so they couldn't do anything to help at all. Now we're out a transmission. Owner was very nice. They are pricey though so about 3500 later the owner was very patient waiting for my friend to pick up his car. I must say there us a female that works there that will call and harass you, she even told my friend that he was lazy and sorry and wasn't trying to pay them back. Well he wanted his car back but had a customer that never paid him so it made it longer to pick up his car. She is very rude and if the owner wants to keep customers maybe he should consider firing her. I won't take anything there for that reason.

Great business to deal with. Everyone I've met from Jennings is always courteous and actually eager to help with your problems and repairs. Business dealings with them for over 20 years has always left me pleased. I continue to do business with them even though I live over 2 hours away from their business. Real professionals in every sense of the word.

Bought a rebuilt transmission for a 94 Chevy through advance auto from Jennings. Installed the trans and 3rd gear was slipping. Called them and had it taken to one of their distributor trans shops near home and all they done was a fluid flush and first gear won t engage.....apparently warranty was already used from the first problem.....will never recommend this place for anyone!Service: Transmission

I am the owner of Clean Force One in Jacksonville, NC. Last week I had to bring one of our carpet cleaning vans to Jennings for a transmission repair that was still under warranty. Randy told me that it would be finished the same day that I brought it in...and it was!!! We pulled out of there at 4:00 pm that day. I have clients that I need to service and so I cannot afford to have my vehicles in the shop for any extended length of time. Since the transmission was still under warranty I didn't have to pay a dime. Therefore, I want to highly recommend this company for any transmission install or repair that you may have. Hats off to the entire crew at Jennings!! The customer service was awesome!!! Thank you. I will refer you as often as I can. 5-stars!!!

Purchased a reman 4l60 from these guys and they delivered on time as promised. They were fairly short staffed when I purchased the unit because of the holidays,but when the delivery driver showed up I learned that it was the owner of the company that was delivering the unit.stand up people and absolutely a pleasure to deal with in my opinion.

They were too fix my transmission that they fixed a few months back that still messed up, so I used the warranty. My first issue is that it was offset by a day because their towtruck what messed up so I had to wait. Issue two, I call them Thursday evening, two days after they've had it and they tell me it'll probably be done Friday morning. I call Friday morning, it might get done today but most likely Monday. And so today, Monday I call and they tell me they are now putting in the transmission and that they will be sending it out (3hours away) Tuesday morning. Every time frame I have gotten has been wrong along with my original expensive product not working. All the while I have to drive to work.

Two transmissions purchased, delivered in a timely manner with secure packing. Had issue a couple of months after install, Jennings sent their tech to the shop and fixed issue. Will be buying next transmission from Jennings.

I sent my transmission to them and they said all this good stuff about the warranty and how they look over transmission before and after they build them in 99% sure they half way do that here s why...-My transmission didn t even last a year-Was told it was gonna be able to hold 600 hp that was definitely a lie-THEY DONT COVER CASES CRACKED BTW( even tho they looked it over)- btw this trans was in a old school truck that was babiedDONT WASTE MONEY OR TIME ON THEMOR ATLEAST READ EVERYTHING THEY SAY IN WRITINGService: Transmission

The staff there are very knowledgeable! I had to dropp my truck of and they offered me a rental till I can get my truck back! They hold true to their warranty as well!

Had a transmission rebuilt in a hard working F350 about 2 years ago and have had no problems what so ever with it, and am in the process of rebuilding another F350. Very good at what they do and I recommend them to anyone with transmission problems.

I didn't visit but they have technicians available that can troubleshoot Inver the phone. he was able to tell me what was wrong with my truck and now it's back on the road thanks to them from what I've been told they are very good and stand behind there work

Pricing to have transmission rebuild done seemed very high compared to a couple of others shops I called with just as good reputation.

If you want it done right the first time this is where you go if you re having problems with your transmission you take it to the transmission guys not the i can do a swap guys I m new to the region and had to learn the hard way a lot of shops will rip you straight off not Jennings the prices are decent especially if your planning to keep the vehicle then it s worth the investment always room for improvement but I got no complaints I will do a follow up and the future

Great customer service. They're mechanic Carlos did a Fluid and Filter change on my 02' Toyota...No problems!
