Literally the WORST auto center I ve ever been to! Came for a simple oil change.. there was no one in front of me I literally watch the mechanic WASTE TIME smoked cigarettes, played on his phone and talked to his buddy s for over an hour and finally decided he was going to start on my vehicle .After complaining another mechanic took over and literally did the oil change in 10 minutes. This place is a JOKE!!!

I went to this location needing a tire rotation and balance. I was instead turned away because "the balancing machine doesnt work with wet tires, it damages it/a rotation on a rainy day is a bad idea". Thats dumb. Those are not real reasons. I went across town to Belmont instead.

The worst shop ever. I ordered tires for install and they canceled my order, I try to call and no one answers. I go online to check and they have them in stock still.

If it was possible to leave zero start this would be the review. I was first in line to get 4 new tires purchased at Walmart mounted. My car has aftermarket wheels. After waiting on until their staff stop horsing around I get told they can't install the tires because the door sticker has a different size. I try to explain that this where not the manufacturer rims and they said walmart won't let them install the tires they just sold me cause the car does not have the factory size wheels.

I can only attest to my own experiences with this particular Walmart Auto in Gastonia, NC. I have been having my car serviced between here and the one in Belmont for the past 18 months. It is inevitable that when I come to this location, something goes wrong. Several examples. I had them change wiper blades while doing a routine oil change. As I am driving home in the rain, literally right after the service, the entire wiper arm broke off. (That was horrible, because it is very hard to get a replacement arm on my vehicle.)Then on another occasion, I asked that they repair a hole that I have circled on my tire along with a routine oil change. I am called back to see a slash in the tire and a hole in the outter part of the tire?? That confuses me because, I had just taken that tire off to check for holes. In addition, I was showed that my record of all previous tire purchases didn't "Show in their system." I had bought 2 sets of tires at different times with road hazard. However, without my receipts for those in the car and them not "having it in their system, I HAD to purchase a new tire. This auto center said they didn't have the tire to replace it at same cost in stock and I was up charged nearly $30 for a total of $100 at the end of it all.I can't keep doing this with this place.*****I advise that you keep your service records with you if you visit this place. And stand at the window to watch the work done.One day I was here for 4 hours on a oil change. Car up in the air for 3 of those hours. That is not normal, but again it has been one of my many bad experiences here. I continued to come here because I feel routine maintenance on vehicles is best done with the same company. However, since I have come to learn that they have multiples files for my name and don't show half of my previous maintenance records in their system, (still puzzling me.) I am ready to go elsewhere.

I tried to buy a set of tires for my truck from them. But the first time they answered they hung up on me. The 2nd & 3rd time I called I let it ring for 2 minutes but no one ever answered. I will not drive 20 miles each way to see if they have my size tire in stock. It could have been a $1,000 sale, but they were either too lazy or uncommitted to their automotive service department to answer the phone so someone else will get my money.

Went in for four tires was told by two different people they had them in stock... A manager named Dan comes out tells me those tires won't fit even if they did have them ...bait-and-switch had to pay extra for tires that ended up being the exact same size then I had an issue that they did Not say anything about...It was a bent rim... But the guy did do the work anyway and again never said a word to me about it until I read it in the paperwork...Avoid this place

Website says tire center opens at 7am, it is now 7:26 and no one in sight. Lights off inside and gates down!! Sign at front door clearly says 7am. Ridiculous!!!

I have always brought my car to this place for oil changes or replacement tires. I have never had any problems with their service, and the staff have always been friendly with me. The only issue I have with this Walmart, is the lack of answering the phone when you need to ask a simple question. Other than that, it s Gastonia. What do you expect? The only reason I gave it one star. They won't let you give no stars I was trying to take my old battery back get my core charge back the man working there I had no idea what he was doing eventually had to go to customer service

I hope this place is doing better now..i stayed im there almost 4 hours to get a tire patched..the worse service I have ever experienced. I truly hope they have it together now

They stayed late for me in order to get the tires fixed. Once we got the lugs things went fine and they got me out the door. My TPS monitor broke off and they still have yet to fix it. Says they haven t came in in the truck yet after 6 weeks but I ll give them the chance to fix it and then review again afterwards. The tires are awesome though! Great value for the tires I got!

Stopped by on a Sunday for 4 New Tires and was in and out in under about an hour. Fast and Professional service, they did accidentally keep my locklug, but by the time I returned about 15 mins later they we're already calling to let me know it was there.

Went in around 7:30 AM to get a tire patched, with not a single customer in sight, and they were "booked up for the day." The only people there were two workers with their hands in their pockets, and not even one paying customer or a single car in their parking lot or garage.I previously had lots of work here, including patched tires, and they did just fine. Wouldn't recommend you waste your time here.

Awful service. Went in at 2:15 p.m. for simple oil change and tire balance. Only 1 other customers was there. Was checked in at 2:45 after seeing multiple employees standing around doing absolutely nothing. Another employee was sitting in his own personal car blasting music full of obscenities while I have a 5 year old in the car, his music was so loud that my own windows were vibrating. Finally got vehicle checked in and returned at 6:00 p.m. that tire balance was not done because no one had been told so. This was after I stated multiple times at check in that I needed my tires balanced and was told that it would be. This was my first time here and it will absolutely be my last. This is Gastonia at its very finest. Don't come here and trust these idiots with your vehicle.

Went to buy a car battery they have been closed all week. A sign on the door read not enough worker's. If they Learn how to treat people workers won't be a problem. Treat People the way you want to be treated.

First off, my fianc� had to take my car to get tires put on because the front tire was about to blow out. They absolutely refused to put tires on the just the front of my car, they said their policy says they have to put the new tires on the front. The car had staggered wheels, I told them specifically that the car can not run 19 tires on the front an 17 s on the back, it s not rocket science. they flat out refused to put a tire on the car for her, not even to replace the one that was about to blow out she had to drive to a shop down the road where it was no issue to put two new tires on the front and send her on her way. Safely. Don t take your car to this Walmart It s the fact they knew the tire was gonna blow, and they refused to replace it. absolutely trash service, they were more interested in what engine my car had rather than taking care of the fact the car was NOT in a safe condition to leave that shop. Absolutely ridiculous they wouldnt replace the tire because they had to put it on the back, it doesn t physically work like that.

Deserves no Stars. An absolute joke. It took an hour and a half to get the oil changed. The service manager seemed more concerned with walking around eating pizza and having it half hanging out of his mouth then he did doing anything constructive pertaining to his job. His old lady and kids being there seemed to distract him slightly also (sarcasm). Unprofessional. Whatever happened to taking pride in your job? It obviously doesn't happen in this facility. I recommend you do it yourself. I will before I bring my car back to this pathetic excuse for an oil change center. And to add insult to injury, I never got my change back. I told them to keep it, I've waited long enough. Smh...

Went to the Gastonia NC - N. Myrtle School Rd. location. - The gentlemen that were working were very friendly and helpful. I got an oil change and he showed me where to look for the specific type of oil that I needed. Tire had low pressure and they checked all tires and gave me air...I would use them again.

My daughter got a flat tire and we drove from Clover to Gastonia to get a new tire. There was 1 car they were finishing up and it was just after 5 (they close at 6) and they refused to put the tire on. Let us buy a tire, but wouldn't help 2 women, one of whom was pregnant, by putting it on for us. A bunch of lazy jerks. How hard is it to put a tire on!?

Had a utility trailer connected to the truck the tires started to leak so we went to get new tires at the Walmart 200 miles away from home. Got there at 1 and the gentleman behind the counter said he was shutting down because nobody showed up for work. Do not go here

Bought my tires here with road hazard warranty bout 2months ago woke up this morning with a flat tire after pumping the tire up with an air tank went to Wal-Mart at 10 am to have it looked at was told no one showed up for work in the tire department ask when they expected them in asked for a manager they turned me away said they couldn't look at my tire so I left went home call Wal-Mart back asked for a manager he said someone would be there to do tire work at 12pm so I drove back at 11:50 am was told I'd have to wait after being turned away one time already took them till 1:30 pm and told me they didn't do anything to the tire found something in it but didn't think it went all the way through the tire ??? Something made it go flat??? So i made 2 trips turned away the 1st time and the 2nd time made wait hour and half and they didn't even fix my tire???

3 hours to get an oil change. In 3.... hours... they did maybe 8 cars. All of the additional advertised checks were not performed but signed off on the sheet as checked. Whoever manages this department needs to be fired.

I called to inform them that I needed a new tire today and to verify the time they closed. The man who answered said 4:00 p.m. and hung up. I drove slowly over there only for a man at the counter to tell me he doesn't know who answered the phone but a machine was broken and they haven't been able to sell or change tires. Maybe I should try Belmont. No apology or anything.

When I called to check if tire roadhazard warranty was active, I was told to wait while he looked it up but he hadn't asked which car or who I am. He just left the phone laying for 5 minutes until I hung up.

I'm in need of an oil change. Called to see if they are open, because its a Saturday. I asked if their mechanics was in today and the guy who answered said, theyre not mechanics, their certified technitions, only he was very cocky when he said it. Its all the same, the way I see it! They all do oil changes!The attitude wasn't necessary! Bad vibes! Thats not good for buisiness!
