I have no problem with the staff, I got my whole family going to Valvoline. But the area manager, Alisha, is the least professional, rude, and most disrespectful manager I've ever dealt with. My sister took my car for an oil change to this Gastonia location for the first time and whoever did it didn't close my hood properly. So, as I was driving on the highway, the hood flew up and destroyed my widescreen. I wasn't even upset because my hood was a bit tricky to close due to a previous accident. It just wasn't right that they didn't inform her that the hood was still open before she drove away. I didn't fuss about it, I filed a claim and they agreed to pay me. So, because of the claim I had to deal with Alisha. It took them a whole month to send me my money. Because I agreed to the initial offer, Alisha acted like me asking for a fair compensation for my transportation was unheard of. Alisha even lied about our initial agreement on my transportation. The money was not even my problem but the disregard. Alisha was condescending and rude and definitely ruined Valvoline for me. I have never posted a review about anything until now. She really got on my last nerve

Exceptional service. No wait. They immediately pulled my car in and started getting to work. Highly recommend. I had an oil change completed here and an inspection. The "Car Cam" was awesome. I loved being able to see what they were doing. The waiting area was clean. If I JUST needed an oil change, I could have stayed in the vehicle but because I needed an inspection, I got to wait in their waiting room. Clean. Good temperature.Staff was friendly and extremely focused on the job. Very pleased with my service. Highly recommend

Sat forever waiting while there employee Bruce was talking and talking and talking some more. Get it together. This is a quick in and out service but not with him around. Do better

Didn't reattach my skid plate correctly and it started flapping around on the interstate. Went back and they "fixed it" with zip ties. It's flapping around again. Contacted corp about fixing this at another shop. Will updated on responses.

Went in for an oil change and come home to find no oil in my car. No leaks. They just didn't put oil back in my car. Pulled the di stick and it was clean. How do you charge people for an oil change and not replace the oil. Yall could have seriously messed up my car. Will never go back. Too fast and yall don't pay attentiom.

Fast, quick, friendly! They let you know if you need anything else like air filters and such! Never have to leave the car! Affordable too!

They do a great job. They're knowledgeable, quick once you're in a bay, and reasonably priced (with regular coupons available). Go early in the day or mid afternoon, otherwise you'll wait a while.

We use Valvoline on Franklin Blvd all the time. I've been trying to call (says they open at 7) since 7, it is now 730 and I'm still getting the recording saying I have reached them outside of normal operating hours. I'm just trying to find out if there is someone for inspections at this time (inspections people seem to come in later).

People are hacks. Brought in for inspection and check engine light comes on after they put their hands on it. BBB needs to be involved. Manager is such an unprofessional it s pathetic! Never go here again

If you care about your car- please avoid at ALL cost. They changed oil and did an inspection and did not put the dipstick back. The manager Stacey- instead of admitting wrongdoing told me her boss said I could call corporate. Poor customer service! My SUV has 40,000 miles on it! And they could careless if my car engine blew up or not. She was very nonchalant because she is the last person under the hood! Run! And run fast if you don t want the headache of poor service plus horrible customer service! Just admit you done wrong! Save yourself a headache and take your car someplace that cares. By the way I have a video taken from a reputable place that was horrified that my car was left in this condition.

I don't want to sound racist, but it is beat up that there is one white guy working, and about 6 black guys standing around on perpetual break. Meanwhile, it took me over an hour to get the car inspected with only two cars in front of me. So, just to summarize, idk who is doing you guys hiring, but y'all need to clean house

Brian provided an outstanding customer service experience for me. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, kind, and explained everything to me clearly. This was my first time getting an oil change there, and I'm happy that I did. I normally go to pepboys, but they've let me down time and time again with their poor customer service skills. I finally decided enough was enough and started looking elsewhere to get my oil change. Valvoline was close by, so I decided to just go on a whim.

This is my favorite place to go for oil changes and I ve been going there for years. Although they aren t exactly cheap they send me a coupon in the mail / email when I m due which helps bring the cost in line. Very much appreciate. A Steak and Shake is close too so I sometimes time my oil change around lunch time to kill two birds with one stone. Unfortunately, 3 of the past 5 times there has been oil drops left on my driveway after I parked. First time I drove back and they wiped the undercarriage saying some had spilled. Second time someone from their office called about a review and I explain my feelings. This third time I m sharing with you. They are very fast and don t charge for a skid plate on my vehicle, but I wish they would take a couple minutes more to wipe down. They re waiting room and restrooms are clean but they could use a tv. I will still continue to visit I just need to remember to remind they to wipe down the undercarriage.

Talk about a star treatment. I got my oil changed and inspection done and everything was done so quick and efficiently. The teamwork I saw this morning at this Valvoline is exceptional. The manager, Stephanie deserves a 10 star review. You can tell they all care about what they're doing and care to do a great job at it. I am most certainly coming back! I went in the middle of the day to get an oil change and an inspection. I waited 45 minutes to get my oil changes and another 30 to get my inspection- after 2 cars that had arrived after me. I was there for almost 2 hours. While I was paying for my inspection, the man "helping" me didn't address me as he was too busy flirting with his coworker who seemed to not be doing anything at all. He didn't even tell me what my total would be- the maximum inspection fee.Service: Oil change

While being in line for oil change truck pulled out in front of me when done. I was in line next. Attendant backed my car up put another car in front of me. Mind you I been waiting for some time. I ask manager what was going on. She said there was some confusion when they put car in front of mine when I was in line waiting. She said sorry and didn t seem to care. I ask who moved my car for them to put in another car. Wouldn t tell me. There were 4 guys standing with a deer in the head light look. I been there for years will never go back to people who don t care. Happened today 9/11/23

This is a great place for service. The staff were kind and courteous. They answered all of my questions and were very positive. They did not act condescending like so many service places can be towards women. They are not pushy sales people. They offered other services that may be recommended for my vehicle but were not pushy when I declined. The process was fast and efficient. I have been using this site for 2 years now and have seen some changes. I have recommended them to several of my friends and co-workers! Failed a guys inspection for streaks when the wipers are used. But they worked perfect on video in front of the whole staff. No streaks.

You would think me being a guy I d know cars service was fast came for a oil change and state inspection the crew were super nice and helpful even gave me a discount code because no one said driving a bmw would hurt your pocket. I m great full for them will be returning

I needed an oil change and this was my first time coming to Valvoline, so I was unsure about the process. But the manager Stephanie quickly approached me and kindly guided me where to go. Staff was very friendly and did not take long at all. I reset my oil service indicator light myself but not a big deal, I was just happy to get an oil change after procrastinating it (oopsies). Bonus points for the staff also being entertaining and playing cool music.Service: Oil change

I took my vehicle to this location for an oil change at the end of June. However, my oil light had came on and I took it to this location to get checked, and to my surprise there was no oil in my car. I explained that I always come here to get my oil change, and that my oil light never comes on, and they tried to tell me it is due to me needing an oil change. I was 300 miles away from needing an oil change. The manager April was very rude and did not show any concern about my complaint, and she sent a worker to come out and tell us to leave the premises with no oil in my car. I will never ever go to another Valvoline again.

This place rips you off. They will fail you on inspection and then upscale you just get get inspection to pass. Stay away from this place.

The woman checking me in didn't mention to the mechanics I needed an oil change, tire rotation and inspection. She just told them I need an oil change so I ended up going somewhere else for my tire rotation. They did something to my tires, because now my tire pressure light won't go off after I added air, that was not needed before they checked the pressure. Also, they did not reset my oil change guage. Don't go here, just because it's quick, does not mean it's good.Service: Oil change

Line was long, but wait wasn't too bad. Definitely more expensive than going to the dealership so I wouldn't go back unless i was in a pinch. I was already stuck in line or I wouldn't have waited and couldn't get anyone on the line before I went to check price. Also, the stay in your car method is convenient, except because you turn your car off it gets pretty toasty. Not a problem for adults, but if little ones are in the back its something to consider
