Took my car to Carfix Auto Repair to get an oil change and to use the coupon I received in the mail. I had a great experience overall! The team completed my oil change and a check up on my car as well and found out I also needed to replace my trans mount. They provided me with a loaner car until my car was fix which was also a Plus. Thank you Zander for your wonderful customer service as well as the other team members that I made contact with. They all were great and would highly recommend.

Traveling up from Florida and found ourselves with a dangerously low tire. The guys at Carfix were great. Made us comfortable, were very friendly, and took care of our car in short order. Best service we could have asked for.

There s a lot that I could say about the carfix location in garner, so I ll attempt to keep it short. From start to finish the entire staff was fantastic. I know I can be somewhat difficult between my hectic schedule, as well as my lack in knowledge of cars lol. Ivan really went above and beyond to insure I was well communicated to throughout, as well as happy with the services. Will definitely be returning for any and all future services needed!

Great customer service overall. I was given a thorough report on my vehicle on inspection, and the shuttle service was top-notch as well. Definitely will continue to bring my car for service.

The best auto repair shop I've been involved with in a very long time. Zander is the definition of "Great Costumer Service". Everyone there are professionals that you can trust to do the job correctly and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend Carfix of Garner.

This is the mechanic your parents warned you about.First experience was smooth as silk. Customer service was great: Pick-up/drop off service, clean waiting room, attentive staff,...they even readily make loaners available, which most mechanics don't do. Hell, they'll even give you $10 off your next service if you review them on this site, which might explain the rash of 5 star reviews that all happened a month ago.All of the sudden, my car that usually only needed registration and regular oil changes began falling apart. This needed changing, that was leaking, another thing needed "to be watched".I thought this was just Carfix being super attentive, but then the air conditioning (actually) broke. Carfix gladly did the $4,000 job, but when I finally got the car back, a belt was squeaking, which they charged us to replace, despite the belt not squeaking when we took it in. A week later, the new belt was squeaking. Took it back and they tightened it free of charge, but that was when I overheard them specify that so and so (a certain mechanic) was not to be doing the work on the belt. (That's never a good sign.) Got the car back and it began squeaking again after a week but apparently, it was nothing they'd done, so they charged full price to re-replace it.Oh, and by the way, their diagnostics said that 6 other things, that weren't even on their radar a week prior, all-the-sudden needed "to be watched" which, unsurprisingly, our new mechanic who had just finished putting in a third belt, doesn't agree with.

I brought my CRV in for an oil change, BUT NO TIRE ROTATION. That went ok,however, when I got in my car to leave I noticed that they had removed a sticker from another company that stated when my next tire rotation would be due and replaced it with theirs statung when my next oil change is due. I did not give them permission to remove that sticker and it was not their property to remove. It had nothing to do with oil changes therefore they should have left it alone. Almost every time I have gone there for service there has been an issue. Once a representative at the desk smarted off to me. Another time they made fun of me when I had my front end alignment done because my steering wheel was not straight. I'm sorry but I have had enough. Three strikes and your out!!!!

The team at Carfix is outstanding! Unmatched communication and photo evidence of mechanical diagnosis(who does that?). Competitive pricing and fast turn around. They really know what they are doing and waste ZERO time getting it done. Best of all, they care. They went the extra mile to save me time, headache and money!FOREVER CUSTOMERServices: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement

I will never take my car anywhere else. I brought my car in after hearing noises/ having issues with my brakes. I have never experienced such levels of customer care and communication, they gave me peace of mind while making sure I was totally informed. I would absolutely recommend coming here, anything from an oil change to diagnosing and making complex repairs, the attention and care I was shown was truly exceptional. Special huge thank you to Dan and Xander they never ceased to ensure i was taken care of and understood everything. Really can t say enough positive things about this place, please check it out!

CLASSIC CARS? DON'T TAKE HERE! After spkg with Mike's wife at TMBC VBS, he never called me back. My complaints to mgt&advisors via verbal, text&email fell on deaf ears. When he used to b here, it was a great place! The test drivers, ruined my car! &drove it 80miles each time, premium fuel! Over 6mo, I spent $4k & left w/+ problems than I came in with. I have 2 spcl nds kids & haven't driven her hard in 15yrs. I kept my orig owner Ac '02 RSX-S under the hood in good shape, & get 29mi/gal. Told them to ck & update any hoses/belts, etc. Got an oil change &suspension part. Next day, car steaming&heat didn't work, needed a radiator (new probs). They offered financing...Got an oil change, said I had a leak (new prob) $500 later, broken motor mounts (new prob). I asked for parts saved, they were not. As part of an apology, it sat up there for 1.5mo waiting on a door lock that never came. After pick up, nvr called 2lmk it came in. Verbal agreements for coupons not honored when fam picked up.etc, etc

I've never been to Carfix before but as my first experience I was very pleased. Right from the start of calling they were very helpful and kind. I love how they do an entire inspection on the cars, I was able to find out other concerns that I should be aware of with my vehicle and they even take pictures and measurments so I can understand whats going on. They got my car fixed within a 1.5 days and I did not need to look for a ride because they offer shuttle services so I was able to pick up my car through them. I'm happy with the results and definitely will be using them for future services.

Have been taking my 2004 Highlander there for several years. Being an older car, there is always something that needs done. They will prioritize what needs done and keep an eye on what may need done in the future. With the price of cars, my plan is to keep my older cars running longer and they are helping me accomplish that. The staff is excellent, responsive and does professional work. I highly recommend.

A well organized and operated facility. They obviously take pride in their facility and appearance.Scheduling and communications with Shanna were easy. The work was completed as discussed and on time. They alerted me to a couple of additional items that require attention. I can now plan to have them addressed.Thank you. I'll be back.

The level of customer service displayed from everyone at this facility far exceeds any auto repair place I have ever visited.I appreciated the entire experience. They communicated with me every step of the way. They are thorough and fair. Although I do not wish to have a car problem in the near future, if I do, I most certainly will be taking my business to carfix in Garner, NC

I posted a review 3 months ago about their service which is outstanding for the most part; but this time I have got to say to be careful. We have been taking our car there for years and this was no different but they called telling us that they thought it was our oil pump but they would have to run a 1400 dollar test to be sure and then if it was it would be another 4700 dollars to fix it. This didn't sound right to us because we have family that have owned shops so we did our research and found that it only cost at the most 2500 dollars to fix and that's the high end. So we called around and had our car taken to another shop where they told us that because we were able to drive it and the engine was great that it couldn't be the oil pump and that it was the oil pressure sensor that by the way was way cheaper. When we called carfix and asked why they were charging us so much the guy told us it was because of fees for rental cars, warranty, and other fees that would not relate to us. The real question is why were they going to fix a part that wasn't even damaged or at best charge us for a test that they could have been able to diagnose with just knowing the certain things that would keep it from being that like the engine being great and no sounds that it was making that any qualified mechanic would have been able to know. In this day and time with the way the economy is you should be able to trust that what someone says, especially a big name company, is the truth. We have gotten some other work done on other cars there and makes me wonder were we being over charged then. I'm not saying that they aren't great or that they don't have good service because they do im just saying be careful that you are getting done what actually needs to be done and not being over charged in the process. They lost a customer in this process that they shouldn't have lost because of fees that should have been given because of good service. Warranty's should be given because it comes with the part or loaners because they are fixing the car or it at least needs to be transparent in the billing not hidden in the price. And to all who have posted that it is a free shuttle service it's not it's hidden in the price you get we were told that when asked why we were charged so much.

I was a loyal customer of carfix when Xander and Ivan were the two team members running the front of the shop. Customer services was great and I spoke very highly of carfix to anyone that would listen. Now that they've hired a new girl and guy, the customer service is trash. They lost my business in one transaction with both the new hires. I took my vehicle in to be repaired (headlight was out) and to get it inspected after the repair was done (I couldn't pass inspection without the headlight working per carfix). Well I got a text from the new girl saying my front brakes and rotors needed to be done (I just had them done by carfix less than 10 months ago). Also not sure why they are looking at brakes when the repair was for the headlight. So I called carfix to asked why the brakes and rotors needed to be done again when they were just fixed by carfix. The new girl answered and she then got very rude on the phone saying it was my back brakes and rotors and that she never said the front (even though I have it in her text I received)I then told them to not do the repair and to not do the inspection as I would come get my vehicle. When I get to the shop the new girl told me that I owed for the vehicles inspection that I told them not to do. They then told me that if I brought it in for inspection then an Inspection must be done because IT'S THE LAW. I've never been told this ever by any mechanic doing my inspections. Additionally, when I spoke to the new person on the phone and told them not to repair the vehicle and not do the inspection, why wasn't I told then. They were fiercely insistent that I pay the fee for the inspection I told them not to perform. So I ask them, why do the inspection when you know it won't pass because you didn't do the repair that carfix said was needed to pass the inspection. The new girl then says the headlight works now so we did the inspection and it failed because you needed wiper blades. So I told them I would pay the fee and they would loose my business as a result. it was only then that they said you don't need to pay for it.Last year alone I had 10k work of repairs done by them. Every time I went in to have something repaired they would inspect something else without me telling them and suggest it be repaired. This is what happen with my headlight. Went in to have radiator repaired for the second time under warranty (first time the replaced it). When this happened they inspected the vehicle and said I needed a new head and side light before I could pass inspection in December. Now when I go to get it fixed all of a sudden it's working.... Don't do you repairs with Car Shop unless Xander or Ivan is running the shop.

Have been doing business with them for years. However my last experience was not a good one. Communication was sub-par. Car was not completed by time told to me. Repairs were done and charged to me without my approval .In today's world communication is the key. May be taking my business elsewhere next time.

Once again, Carfix helped me through a tough situation! My car died at a busy 4 way intersection, and I needed help! I called Ivan at Carfix and he called a tow for me. He kept in touch with me to make sure I was safe. Many thanks and my appreciation to Ivan and the rest of the staff. Thank you for your help and the Carfix Batmobile to drive around! Christine

Had been taking my car there for routine maintenance and took it there for a tire plug. The tire plug was not done properly and leaked causing a flat. I took it to another repair shop and they told me it was leaking from a bad patch job and to take it back to that shop for them to fix for free since they didn't do it correctly. I took it to Carfix and they said they would look at it but that I might need a new tire despite that they were brand new. They later text me saying air was coming from the sensor/valve stem and I needed $130 replacement part. I called the place that I first took it to who said there was no leak near the valve stem when they just had it up. I told Carfix no and picked up my vehicle and took it back to the other shot who properly repaired their patch job for way less than $130. Still no valve leak. Oh, and the valve stem could have been replaced for cheaper had it been the issue without replacing the whole sensor.

What a breath of fresh air this place is! Finally, a car maintenance & repair company with honest, professional service at a fair price. Zander is such a pleasant person to work with. He takes the time to fully explain what the vehicle needs, going into details about what's urgent and a timeline for other maintenance items that can wait a bit. The shuttle service is AMAZING!! No more coordinating drop-offs and pick-ups. Plus the driver is a super friendly guy. Thanks Car Fix for a great experience and we look forward to using you for all our future vehicles needs.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

Visited for the first time recently, very impressed with their way of doing things. From first encounter, all the way through to handing me my receipt I feel I was treated fairly and my car was well taken care of. The pricing felt a bit high BUT I ve not been to a proper shop in a LONG time that being said, I feel like my money was well spent and I ll definitely be going back.Services: Tires, Auto brake repair, Tire rotations, Brakes, Vehicle safety inspection, Wiper blade installation, Brake service & repair, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement

If I could give a million stars to Carfix in Garner, I would. From the very beginning with running the diagnostics on my vehicle - all the way to the payment process, this was one of the most delightful car experiences that I ve ever had. Shanna was an absolute rockstar at keeping us updated on the status of our car. The actual diagnostics were incredibly detailed. The pricing wasn t too bad with what needed to be fixed. And to top everything off, they left stuffed bears in our back seat for our toddlers. That type of thing means a lot. Overall, excellent service at Carfix.Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, Auto battery replacement

The customer service at Carfix is absolutely top notch every time. This most recent time, Zander was insanely busy, bring the only service advisor at the desk that day. He was friendly and courteous at all times and very accommodating with getting me an appointment on short notice. Carfix is a little pricey sometimes but the quality of service here is excellent and I'll keep going back
